This is the first time I've had a vehicle tinted, Custom Glass Tinting made my first experience great. They didn't try and sell me the most expensive product, they listen to what I wanted and made it happen. They even went as far as to re-apply a tent because they said it wasn't perfect. Very happy with my service and end result. As far as price is concerned, I can't compare anything, but the price was well worth the experience and end result. Thanks guys!!

So pleased with Custom Glass Tinting! I brought my 2017 Rav4 in and it looks absolutely amazing. I can definitely feel a difference in heat for the interior. All of the staff were very helpful. I wasn't sure what I wanted initially, but they explained all the tint options and helped me select the best for me. The price was also great for what I got. Overall I highly recommend this place for tinting!

First off, I was quoted $275 for my truck, tint all the way around with a brow on the windshield. Final bill ended up being $350. One of my employees picked the truck up so he didn t question the $75 up charge from the original quote. Regardless, $350 is still reasonable so I didn t go back and complain. Not that big of a deal.Here was my biggest issue. I told them I wanted 5% all the way around. I looked at the bill once my employee had already picked the truck up and it clearly stated 5/15% (which means 5 windows @ 15%)When comparing my other Tacoma and my other Chevy s with true 5% tint, compared to Custom Glass Tinting s 5%, they look NOTHING alike. I can see right through my passenger window and through my driver side window. Last time I checked on the other 4 vehicles I have had tinted in the past, you cannot see through 2 windows with a 5% tint job.I took my truck back to the shop and questioned them on the 5% vs the 15% that was on my invoice. Explained my concern and they brought out their pass through light checking tool and the meter did read 0.04% which is less than 5%. The owner got a little butt hurt and asked me why I thought he would put the wrong tint on someone s truck when he s been doing it for 40 years ..Application method was great, no bubbles and no concerns there with the quality of the tint material. However, the tint they use is not comparable to other tint shops, very weak 5% in comparison to some other shops tint.Service: Vehicle window tinting

I have been using this place for a few decades. Excited to get my Sticker out back on my car. Noone knows I am here anymore in Gainesville but I am. Just waiting to make a appt with them. Also on me. I need to call them again. Just know they are busy because they are the best. An amazing difference! Legal tint so it comes with an amazing warranty. Big difference in helping keep the car cooler. They performed my service quickly, and with great quality. Very good pricing for professional install. Take advantage of their appointment service.Would recommend.

Spent over $2k for different products including front end car wrap protection. Was driving in Gainesville a small rock hit the hood of a 2021 car and tore the wrap down to bare metal, took the car to Custom and pointed out the issue and the individual said "not sure why you are upset", "should be covered by warranty will need to get back to you", never heard back, called everyday for update and left messages. As of this review still have not heard back. I do not recommend any business with this lack of ownership and customer service. After speaking to several local individuals they also expressed similar situations. Several breakdowns in communication here such as forgotten appointments, lack of clarity on the pricing. When I was able to show up for my appointment the price was $100 higher than they told me on the phone, so I just took it over to Park Place where they took a lot better care of me.

Michael was awesome. He did interior window tint on about 60% of my home which is mostly large windows & sliding glass doors. My home is already 4 degrees cooler since this install during the hottest part of the day with A/Cs off. 83 degrees before and 79 after the tint. The price was fair, work was done quickly, and the customer service was great. He will be tinting my SUV in the next week. Can not recommend his service any more that this. Happy customer right here and looking forward to finishing the project.

This place did beautiful work, i will take every future car here, and have already referred them, but it gets better, just read to the end. The installer caused some damage to a back panel during install, it happens with that back window... not only did the owner Michael come get me and show me, they offered to pay for repairs. So follow me here, the installer honestly reported it the owner, the owner honestly reported it to me and then offered repairs, not just some money off. I have a Mercedes, this is no cheap repair. Folks, they prepaid for the part at the dealership and are awaiting a call for the service. Excellent, extraordinary service. I'll be taking my mother's car in shortly. No one is perfect but i rarely experience this kind of transparency, service and honesty when to comes to the car industry. I got my girlfriends car windows tinted here and they are awesome. They got me in and out in an hour, were very friendly, and did a great job. If you need any tint work done I would highly recommend them.

Made an appointment for 9AM to drop off truck for tinting.I was there along with two other people and waiting until 9:15 and no-one showed up.Extremely inconvenient as I had my wife drive in to pick me up while they did the tinting.Service: Vehicle window tintingService: Vehicle window tinting

Got there early and they took my car right on in . 2 hrs later I got my VW Passat back and looked great. Very nice and helpful people . Would use them again in a heart beat.

Took my 2014 Altima to be tinted, and from drop off to pick up I noticed nothing but expert level business. There is literally nothing I can complain about. Plus, my car is older and has endured three boys, it wasn t clean when I dropped it off but picked it up and the entire outside was clean! Thanks guys for beautifying my baby!

I paid to have my Dad's Camaro re-tinted in July for his B-Day by Michael at custom glass and he did a wonderful job! The price was the best in town too. I was worried it would cost a lot to have the old tint taken off and redone but not at all. He also did not damage his rear defrosters either which was very important to me. I am also going to get my 13' Altima done. I also like that they offer the high heat reflecting tint as well. That is what I will be getting on my car. I highly recommend them and I am sure they will do a wonderful job on my Altima as well.

AWFUl! If you are an "attention to detail" person, absolutely DO NOT GO HERE. Tinting job was poorly done. The sun strip curves up in the middle because the guy was too lazy to cut around my rear view mirror. They left trash in my car from removing the old tint. The new tint does not go all he way to the edges and it looks bad (even showing some clear spots around the edges). My car literally smells like mold covered towels. Rank odor that will not come out of my car, absolutely was not there before. Kind of comes out of my A/C like he sprayed rank water ever where. I did not pay this person for the job (as it was warranty) but I would not have paid him. Customer service was the absolute worst with the single complaint I brought up (the sun strip, he called me a liar). I did not even mention the other stuff because I knew he would just be awful. I called Llumar and they are going to send it to another shop to get it redone for free (thats how bad the job was, I can't live with it). That does not fix the odor. Please don't go here. Job done November 2017.

Best prices in town within $10. Seems very professional and high end vehicles look like no problem for them. Staff is very helpful and courteous.
