I cannot say enough good things about this place. I bought my scooter from here and have had it for 4 years and they are quick, always do an amazing job, and are cost effective. You seriously will not find better prices anywhere in Gainesville. They very much are experts at what they do and never try to upsell me on things. The customer service is also impeccable. I especially appreciate Dave who worked with me to get my scooter towed after hours because of my busy schedule. When my scooter broke down, 20 mins before they closed, I called and he came right away. I also love how great their communication is. They call and update you every step of the service you're getting done. Also, everyone who works at campus scooters is extremely nice and accommodating. I honestly have never met a nicer staff at any other business. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Seriously, this is the place to take your scooter.

Excellent! Would highly recommend Campus Scooters. They re friendly, responsive and professional. I am very pleased with the work they did for me. They communicated clearly and accurately both the work to be done, the time needed and then were very competitive price-wise. They were also very helpful in collecting the scooter outside of office hours and then making the scooter ready for transportation. I would give A++, definitely use again and do very highly recommend.

They are great, the scooter we bought runs great. They are very helpful and fair pricing. I honestly don't know how they can help you out so fast. I called them about a broken speedometer cable and they had it fixed within a couple of hours of the call. Always helpful and courteous.

The rear tire on my scooter caught a nail and went flat, I had to replace it. NS4L quoted me $165 for labor and materials. Solano Cycle never picked up their phone. I brought the scooter to Campus Scooters and the mechanic had a new tire on in about 30 minutes for $105, saving me $60. Find quotes for the work before you bring it in, other shops charge excessive amounts because they figure students don't know any better.

Best scooter dealership in Gainesville!We purchased a Bentelli scooter here for our daughter. Sky, our sales lady, was professional and patient as she explained the different features. Prices were clear with no markups. There was also a nice variety of DOT approved helmets all reasonably priced.This is a family run business and you can tell that everyone is truly committed. The service is absolutely amazing! Even on the weekend the response time was close to immediate and David came and helped our daughter in a matter of minutes. It turned out to be a false alarm, but the immediate response and David's disposition were trully remarkable. As a parent, it is a relief knowing that there is such a dedicated professional team for after sales service.I have received no compensation for this review and would whole heartingly warmly recommend this establishment to anyone looking to purchase a scooter in Gainesville.

The place is good to a point. I recommend buying your scooter here, BUT I do not recommend getting it fixed or serviced from here at all. I had multiple recurring issues with my scooter which was a crack in the valve causing the scooter to die at stops unless I kept it gassed. I took it in twice and paid over $50 twice, took it to Affordable Scooter repair and had showed me the work they had done.. or lack thereof. The had discontinued one of my valves so disconnected it, they had mended the other valve but not even replaced it. The guy at Affordable scooters showed me how he took out the valves and put in new and higher quality valves. It took 10 minutes for him to do it. At Campus Scooters, I feel way over charged as well as unable to trust their work at all. I was even quoted one price and agreed upon it, then called days later to ask about my scooter which is when they explained they found more issues on the scooter and fixed it and charged me more without even consulting me.In conclusion, buy your scooter here then service and fix it at Affordable Scooter

We purchased my daughter's scooters from New Scooters 4 Less, which was a mistake. She found Campus Scooters and has been using them for repairs and service for over a year. They are amazing! They go out of their way to get to her quickly and even did an emergency roadside pick up as a huge favor! Their prices are fair, they are courteous and perform repairs really fast. Love these guys!

I originally purchased a scooter from a dealership in Tampa. After only 3 days of using it, it refused to start. A friend recommended Campus Scooters so I called Dave and he was extremely helpful and picked up my scooter. After looking over it he determined that I had been ripped off; the entire gas tank was rusted out and the carburetor was shot. He worked well with the other dealership and helped me convince them to refund my money. I then bought a new bike from him and couldn't be happier. He is an extremely honest man who has been in the industry for ages and really knows what he's doing! He also has a great relationship with the companies he buys from, making it easier to get spare parts if you ever need anything repaired. He was very reasonable in the pricing and doesn't overcharge at all (for repairs, storage, and products!) which was great after hearing some of the pricing offers from competing stores in the area. Also he's available to call if you ever have any issues or questions. I would DEFINITELY recommend checking out Campus Scooters first for any scooter related needs!!!!

I meant to leave this review weeks ago, but I couldn't be happier with the care and service they provide! I purchased my scooter in January 2021 and they answered all my questions honestly without making me feel pressured into buying a scooter. When I was ready to make the purchase, they not only walked me through the process of owning a scooter, but they've provided awesome care anytime I needed a service (i.e. mileage service check-ins, trunk replacement, etc.) If you're considering buying a scooter I'd highly recommend stopping by here, they're genuinely kind people :)

Dave is great! I called when my scooter wouldn't start and they came and picked it up the same day. They were very fair on pricing and even told me which things that I didn't need to get fixed. it was fixed very quickly and for a reasonable price and I have not had any trouble with it since. All around great company to work with.

This place is just amazing. Every time I go they are very professional and the service is fast. The owner comes out to greet you and makes you feel very welcomed. Mechanics are friendly and cleans my scooter after working on it. They always have specials and good deals to service your bike. I highly recommend campus scooters.

Campus scooters was always my go-to scooter repair service since my freshman year. I always thought they had the best prices and service. While they do have great prices, I have since discovered that "you get what you pay for". Two years ago, my throttle cable snapped and I called them up to fix it. Dave did it in one day and I was extremely pleased. However, over time my scooter seemed to lag and the handlebar to hit the gas was loose. After I graduated, I took my scooter to a trusted family friend who is an expert at fixing scooters. He informed me that the repairs I had gotten were botched. The throttle cable was far too long for my type of scooter, which caused other things to malfunction inside the scooter. This shows that the technician either didn't care or just wanted to get the job done quickly. Seems to me like this repair caused more problems which led me to call them for more repairs over the years. Additionally, during one of the repairs, they broke the front wheel mechanism that runs the odometer, causing the odometer to stop reading my speed. (Not good, especially on campus). Lastly, Dave changed my battery once without asking me because apparently my battery was old and needed replacing. The "new" battery he put in was terrible and died on me almost every time I came to a complete stop. I should have called them about it but at this point I was ready to graduate and didn't want to deal with paying for yet another service. My family friend changed my battery again and I've noticed a clear difference. My scooter now comes to life immediately and keeps running even when idle. Overall, this review is not meant to bash Dave's business but I think it's worth mentioning that I don't believe I got superior service like everyone says. I think that in my situation, this business cut corners to deliver their service quickly. I would have rather waited longer and paid more at NS4L if I had known what I was getting myself into. I think Dave is great for small repairs and oil changes, but go somewhere else for the more complicated repairs.

I have been dealing with Campus Scooters since I purchased my scooter in October of 2012. The crew is very efficient. Dave says he will get something done by a certain time, he does. When I first got the scooter I had fuel issues and Dave recommended using the Shell station to fill up and since I have, I have not had any more issues. I recommend to EVERYONE who is looking for a scooter or needs service on a scooter go see Dave and his crew!

Campus Scooters has been incredibly helpful since I got my scooter. Every time I go in for a routine check or to store my scooter, there is someone readily available to assist me. They have answers to all my questions and are willing to spend extra time to help me out. They've driven out to where my scooter is because it won't start, they've replaced spark plugs, and done other things above and beyond. I would recommend this place to everyone for great service and trustable products!

I have had nothing but great experiences at Campus Scooters. Dave is always extremely friendly and has helped me out with all of the problems that I have had with my scooter. I bought my scooter elsewhere and Dave has helped me with all the problems that I have encountered and he has done it with top service and great customer service. I would highly recommend going to him for any scooter issues you ever have. Also he is able to come and pick up your scooter from where you are which has been helpful when my scooter hasn't been starting.

These guys are great! My scooter broke down, I gave them a call and they were on the way to pick up my bike within a hour! They got me fixed up at a great price. Highly recommend!

For the life of my college career I'll be sure to be a loyal customer to Campus Scooters, because they are loyal to me!I purchased a scooter from here and their service is by far the best I have encountered. My favorite thing about Campus Scooters, beside they actually work with and care for their customers, is that they offer free pick ups and deliveries. They also give free estimates on your scooter, telling you what's wrong with it for free, and giving you an exact amount it would cost to have it fixed before they actually work on it!

What can I say... Dave is the man!I've been going to Campus Scooters for well over a year, everything from repairs to advice, and I even purchased a used Yamaha C3 from him. It was by far the best purchase I could have ever made.Here's the thing. Gainesville has become a city full of scooters. Every student wants one and that requires businesses to sell them. I can argue that the competition is very healthy, as none of the shops are similar (and trust me, I've been to others). But Dave is my go to for a very solid reason: His honesty and fairness.It is by far the most underrated quality in the universe. Dave is a mechanic (and salesman) that I legitimately trust. He's not arrogant, he's willing to listen, he's going to tell you the truth, and he appreciates you. He knows very well that he is not the only person in town, but he makes sure that you want him to be the only person touching your scooter. He also does not try to sell you anything else, especially necessarily frequent fluid changes.I love competition, it benefits me, and he's the reason why it works so well.Campus Scooters is down to earth. His taste is great, his words are honest, and the shop is pure substance, no fluff. Free pickup and delivery, extremely competitive prices, and an honest owner.When the foundation is that solid, imagine what you can build upon it.Dave is the man, trust me. I never write reviews, basically because I have to be purely honest and I don't want to harm anyone. But the truth needs to be heard here.

Campus Scooters is a great place to buy or fix your scooter. Prices are not bad, they provide a good service and they respond responsibly if anything is not working for you. I have gone to other mechanics in town, they charge chipper but at the end going back to Campus Scooter is what really fixes the problem. These guys know what they are doing, my scooter is running great and I haven't had a problem with it since I took it there last time.

I found myself without a car and relying on rides to get me places. Things became really challenging really fast. Dave and is wonderful bunch at campus scooters were honest and helpful. I had never ridden a scooter or motorcycle in my life. They took the time to explain everything to me in detail. You can tell they really care about their customers. I would and do recommend campus scooters because they have great prices and do quality work.

I took my scooter here repeatedly for over a year. Every time I got my scooter back it would work for about a week until I started having problems with it again. Every time they replaced my battery with a new battery, I would last for about 2-3 months.I decided to try to go somewhere else and the mechanic was quickly able to figure out what was wrong with my current battery. The new mechanic also noticed although it was running again, it was only running at 80% and didn t want to give it back to me until he had fully fixed it. He kept working on it until he figured it out. My scooter now runs better than when I first got it, is faster, and has had no problems since I took it to the new mechanic.Campus scooters repeatedly gave me back my fixed scooter without taking time to find out what the real issue was. I wasted so much time and money dealing with campus scooters.

By far the best experience, I have had with a scooter repair company. I have an old scooter that tends to break down often so I have been to multiple places throughout Gainesville. The prices here were the fairest and the one of the employees Dave was probably the nicest and most knowledgeable employee that I have ever dealt with. Definitely coming back

Just want to publicly thank them for being honest and providing the best service possible. My college daughter has had a lot of trouble with a used scooter she bought and they have done a lot of work on it for her. They ve also gone out of their way to help find money saving repairs for her knowing she s on a very limited budget. They re service of picking up and dropping off the scooters is 5 stars in itself. Thank you for taking care of our girl since we can t be there to help her out. 100% recommended!

My scooter sat all summer and would not start. I've had bad luck with the other scooter places in town and decided to give Campus Scooters a try. Not only was the free pick-up awesome, but Dave was able to repair my scooter and have it ready to go in less than 24 hours! I've had to wait nearly a week at other repair shops. I would recommend this place to anybody needing a repair

We bought our scooters here in May 2018, we have repeatedly had to taken them in to get fixed. Works for about 1-2 weeks then back to not running. Please don't buy your scooters hete if you want them to run.Retract: after posting negative comments, management contacted my husband about our scooters and are going to fix it, make it right. So 5 stars after all. Update to come.

I was very impressed with Campus Scooters! I am a student at UF and was unfamiliar with scooters at first and they informed me how I should maintain it. They are extremely friendly and accommodating. Any time I had an issue with my scooter, I called and they came to pick it up immediately. They have the lowest prices I was able to find. Definitely recommend!

Very professional, great service, and better rates than other shops in town. I always get my CBR 600 serviced here. They are very honest and always make sure to look over my bike anytime it s there to make sure everything is working correctly regardless of what I am having done. I would recommend these guys to anyone!
