I recently had to return to have Drew and his team check the workings of a front brake after having them for just a few weeks. Turns out the issue was due to a defective part and the replacement was covered by warranty. Drew got me right in and while I was waiting for my vehicle he even educated me on how the entire system works. Definitely a happy customer here and Drew s place will be my first choice for any future needs!

We were in Gainesville racing and ended up cooking all our braking components. While driving around we spotted this store, stopped to see how busy they were. They were able to get our car in, and advised us how bad the brakes actually were. We got new parts and they installed everything and it worked great, and they did not try to rip us off. Great place to go if you need brakes.

Very pleasant experience. Reasonably priced, efficient timing-only took an hour to get my brakes done, most places have you waiting for hours for a simple service. The workers are focused and agile, no wasting time on their phones or having side conversations, very much appreciated that. There s also an adorable dog hanging out :) Highly recommend this location. 10/10

I took my 2008 F-150 to get brakes and a wheel bearings put in on the front, Drew at the front desk helped me out a lot by letting me know that they could have the bearings pressed back in but, it would be cheaper and easier to just have the rotors replaced, also checked the rear brakes and showed me that they needed to be done too! Up front and honest about everything, answered any questions I had! They even shined my tires all around! Great rates and fast service! Will be back in the future! Thanks Brakes 4 Less!

Went in to have brakes replaced. The technician put my truck on a lift, completed an inspection and said my brakes were still good for another 10k miles. Did not try to sell me anything I didn t need. Honest and straightforward.

Drew was awesome and very knowledgeable. I came in and even tho my appointment said an earlier time and the system shouldn t have let me pick that time, he got me in anyways and still finished my car in 2 hours. The price was what I expected to pay and was explained in detail about everything needed. I appreciate you all fixing by brakes before I head out for a trip.Service: Brakes

Took my car in on Friday to make an appointment. After checking to locate problem, employee had to order parts and the parts would be in Monday, so I had to put down a deposit for the parts to be ordered. Monday took the car back to the shop only to find out that the employee that works on my specific problem was out of town and didn't report for work.I was told to come back Tuesday. I came back Tuesday about 9am, and the job would take about 1-2 hours so I sat in the lobby and waited on my car to be fixed. At about 2pm, I was told that they needed to order another part and I was going to have to leave the car overnight because to finish the job was going to have to take too long and they couldn't finish the job before closing.. I called my brother to come pick me up. Wednesday morning my brother took me back to the shop about 830am. I sat in the lobby and waited on my car to be finished. About 10am my car was ready to go.I was told I needed to have an alignment done one my car before I drove it too far. The gentleman at the front counter called an alignment place and made an appointment for me and I left.

Took my sister's old car in, had them check out the brakes and brake fluid. Didn't try to upsell me for random stuff, gave me a quote and a military discount, got the brakes and fluid replaced in under an hour. Even did me a favor when I asked them to keep an eye on oil leaks and let me know what they saw (the whole system is leaking apparently but good to know), and we had a great convo about costs of that and other work on the car, as well as new estimates for mileage I should get brakes/oil checked out at for my car's specific issues (shot rotors and the leak).

Great prices and knowledge of the services they provide. It's cheaper than the dealership and comes with a warranty. Only took a few hours to replace both axles on my truck with brakes and rotors.

Great customer service and quick inspection. Came in with concerns about my brakes. After free inspection left feeling reassured that they would be fine for foreseeable future instead of being upsold. Also informed of how much repair might be if eventually needed. Was out in less than 45 minutes with 2 people in front of me and only one person working at the time. Couldn't really ask for more

I had my first break job since owning my car done with them 10 months ago and they did a good job. I went back because my car was shaking when I'd break and they diagnosed it and quickly took care of me. He said the front roters were under warranty but not the back ones. I was willing to pay for the back ones. However they then said the warranty couldn't be honored due to the front break pads not matching the ones they used. I had my tires changed recently but was not aware of any break pads being replaced . Had they just been cool and replaced the front rotors regardless of the arbitrary excuse they used to not honor the warranty, I would have been happy to pay for the service at least, on top of the back rotors. Yet they were just trying to bilk more $ after already being willing to pay $260 for the back rotors. The experience was pretty frustrating. I think they are competent and decent mechanics. They just handled the situation in a way that left me feeling unwilling to trust them, and thus decided not to have the service done. Had they replaced the front rotors and told me from now on just do all my break jobs there, I would have been willing to be a loyal customer.Service: Brakes

I gave 3 stars since I didn't want to negatively influence the local Gainesville store. My review is 1 star for rude corporate office person. I think her name was Jessica. I was just trying to get a confirmed quote that one of the Gainesville people gave me over the phone the other day, and she slammed the phone down and cut me off. Very rude. So, I decided if your corporate office is like that; I won't do local business with you either. Sorry, if the local store doesn't deserve this relationship.

Honest, straightforward, efficient, and -- best of all -- hassle-free service! I'll admit that the commercial on TV for getting a brake-job done for $125(?) is what led me to choose Brakes 4 Less, but my car's brakes needed way more to be fixed and replaced than the basic job in the commercial, so it was significantly more.Simplicity. What really makes this shop a better choice than other car repair shops is that since all they do is brakes, there's no hassle of the shop trying to sell me more than what I brought the car in for. They also stand by their work 100%! I had my brake job done in December. About a month later, I began noticing squealing almost every time I hit the brakes. After driving around with the squealing brakes for about two months, I finally took the car back to Brakes 4 Less to have the issue addressed.I drove up as a walk-in (no appt), and it was up on the lifts with wheels off in less than 20 minutes. It turned out that debris from the road (a rock or something) had managed to fly into the brakes and was lodged in there, causing the squealing and some minor damage.Even though I'm sure this issue isn't covered in the warranty, they happily replaced the cracked pad and fixed up the rotor. I was highly impressed with the experience -- so much that I am happy to take the time to write this review to share with others. They're fast, friendly, honest, and they don't try and sell you extra services or products.I highly recommend them.

The Gainesville location was great. My break lights and ABS lights had come on and after checking the codes (it's a sensor issue they don't handle) it was determined that I only needed pads on the front breaks. Unlike most oil change shops there was no heavy push to upsell me on anything. Definitely recommend this shop.

A unique situation arose in no part of the shop or myself. The manager stepped up and worked with me to make it right. Did a great job on my silverado set up for towing. Very smooth now and stops on a dime.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Beware! I took my vehicle there to get brake work done. Upon giving my SUV a look over that took less than 10 minutes they told me I required a complete brake job, and some other things done to the price of almost $2500. Was told if I paid cash they would do it for 2000. And when I said no they told me if I purchase the parts they would put them on for 500. Cash. I decided to get a second opinion and took my car to Rudy s Automotive in Branford Florida not only did I get a complete brake job on all four brakes, complete with new calipers and rotors. I also got an oil change, tires balanced and rotated and it only cost me $520 for parts and labor. Be sure to get a second opinion unless you got deep pocketsService: Brakes

I had to get a brake booster which cost me $700.00 one employ helped me when the others I see was sitting around doing nothing when they could be cleaning. They was busy sitting in back room. Told me I had a bad battery so I went and bought one at the time my brake lights was stuck on killing my battery. Another $125.00 wasted. Never go there. Wont. FYI No handicapped Ramp at the front door.IService: Brakes

e careful getting brakes from here---They don't like to honor the warranty. My brother's brakes were under warranty and he drove only 6,000 miles on "new" brakes and they started malfunctioning. Brakes 4 Less didn't want to replace the brake pads and honor the warranty. The representative, Drew was rude to him and dismissive. In addition, Drew referred to my brother as an abusive driver, which was a harsh label. The brakes were replaced only after my stepdad continued to push the issue.such a hassle.

After the free brake inspection, they told me to replace front calipers, all brake pads, and rotors for $1618. They stated that the front calipers' replacement cost $650, which is ridiculously expensive. I know they tried to fool me since all parts listed above should cost less than $550 in total and labor only takes around 2-3 hours, so I went to Tire plus and Good Year auto service later. They inspected and said all calipers are fine, and only rotors and brake pads need to be replaced. Both stores quoted me for around $1000. They also told me it would only cost about $1350 if I still wanted front calipers to be replaced. Finally, I found another body shop and replaced rotors and pads (All Duralast products) for less than $700 with brake fluid flush! The staff here tried to fool me into doing unnecessary services and quoted way more needed!Service: Brakes
