Jim was so helpful and kind, very quick and efficient, and very reasonably priced. I had a non insurance covered damage and he took care of me. I will definitely be returning. He did exactly what he said he would and was helpful with something extra. Have previously used safelite. Will just use Bonwill in the future.

I'm convinced the reviews are paid actors. These people are the greediest most money hungry business I have EVER encountered. Car was towed and before they even got to the tow yard I called asking how much would it be to get it out $200.. $200 when it hasn't even made it to the tow yard yet? Fine whatever. Get there and of course my tired was flat and as they were rushing me out the gate because "closing time is 5" I asked if they could just tow me outside of the gate, they said yes for $80... BUT here's the kicker they said I could leave it OVERNIGHT FOR ONLY $25??? How does that even make sense. Left it over night and came back next day asked if they could air up my tire for me so I could just drive it down the road again they said for $80... $80 TO AIR UP A TIRE... SERIOUSLY?? Are there not anymore decent human beings that care about others or is all that matters is money?? I've never encountered anything like this. INSANITY.

Bon-Will was wonderful to work with. He answered my call on a Sunday about a broken window and had it shipped in the next day for repair. He worked with my busy schedule and the window looks great. Quality work and recommend to anyone looking for glass repair in Gainesville.

Our rear right truck window shattered for no reason so when we got back from vacation Bon-will glass replaced it for us and was very reasonable as well as very friendly.i recommend him.AAA

Bon-Will Custom Glass performed outstanding work on my windshield replacement. The shop-owner had me bring my car in a couple of days prior to my appointment so he could ensure he was ordering the right one (this helped me appreciate the shop's reputation even more because it meant they wanted to do the job right the first time). The price was reasonable & affordable. My broken windshield was replaced/installed in about 2 hours. Incidentally, it rained heavily the next day and my windshield never leaked. Plus my wipers worked fine. I can't say enough good about this business. Don't think twice, just schedule your appointment and be done with it. Mr. Jim was God sent I was recommended by a friend when my window regulator went out and the dealership wanted to charge an insane price. Mr. Jim was very patient since I had to wait for the part to come in. Fixed the issue in 2hrs and work was excellent with very reasonable price l will definitely be back with any window needs I may have in the future! Thank you Mr. Jim and your team.

What an incredibly honest business that does great work. Safelite was wanting double to replace a windshield because they prey on insurance claims. Please call here first to get a quote from a local business who treats you right and gives honest prices.

i was visiting Gainesville and a tree limb shattered my windshield. there s a long story involving a disappointing experience with safelite (who cancelled my appt without notice, wanted to charge me 800$, and had zero personality/customer service skill), but Bon-Will saved the day ! Jim was very pleasant and easy to work with. they got me in quick, did a quick quick turnaround, and charged me a Fair price. i felt so much better spending my money here, and i trust the work they did was top-notch they ve been in business for 40+years. thank you Bon-Will !!Service: Auto windshield replacement

So glad we called Bon-Will. Jim replaced our gasket on the windshield, instead of insisting that a whole new windshield has to be replaced...like the big box windshield guys...,He also did a custom side mirror replacement. I had to replace my windshield and right rear window. I was in the process of moving so on a bit of a time crunch and Boss man found a way to squeeze me in anyway, dropped my car off in the evening and was able to pick it back up the next day by noon. My windows are tinted and I was prepared to have the window re-tinted. But no need because he replaced my broken window with one that had matching tint on it. Jim was so pleasant and really went above and beyond for us We needed to get the front windshield and side passenger window replaced. He drove 40 miles to pick one up so he could take care of us on Saturday before we moved out of Gainesville the next day. Very polite and kind. Give this man your business - you will not regret it. Mr. Jim and D are great. I took my car to get my window regulator fixed. They had to unjamm my window, tweak the park and had me on my way. I enjoyed the conversation. The price was worth it. I highly recommend them for all your window needs

I got my passenger window replaced with Bon Will after someone smashed it and broke in. I searched many companies and they had the BEST PRICE. They traveled to me to replace the window and vacuumed all the glass out of my door and inside my car. They even went above and beyond and fixed my mirror which had been broken for years. I have nothing but positive things to say about Jim and his company! They came out to fix my windshield sooner than any other company was willing to. The communication was great - he called me to give me updates and let me know when the glass got delivered to his shop, when he'd be on the way, etc. He was kind, knowledgeable, worked quickly, and his prices were more than fair. I'm glad I chose his services instead of any of the other big name companies who didn't give great customer support and wanted to charge me almost double. This team of professionals did an excellent job. Very courteous they even went the extra mile to make sure our SUV was taken care of. In the tragedy of a tire smashing the windshield these guys came out to us and performed an excellent service and installed a brand new windshield. I am so happy we decided to put our trust in this great local business.I would highly recommend!! 6 stars!

The rear window on my 2010 Ford escape got shot with a BB gun. My insurance deductible was to high to cover the window. Safelite wanted $600+ to fix the window. I called Bon-Wills. He was friendly and helpful on the phone (he needs a better Bluetooth mic, kind of hard to hear). He gave me option of a new or used glass. Since I was on a budget I opted for used ($300). He drove out to Williston FL and installed the glass. It looks wonderful. He even went a step beyond and cleaned up the shattered glass in/around my car. That was a extra step that I did not expect him to do. Just goes to show he takes pride in his work. I would highly recommend their service. Hire local small business, don't hire the national chains. There is a reason he has 4.8/5 stars. He did good, fast, quality business.Service: Auto rear window replacement

While I m glad to see so many positive reviews, my experience wasn t quite 5-stars. Jim is a very nice, respectful man and my intention here isn t to attack his business. I stopped by early June before leaving town to have him repair my driver window that would only go about 1/3 of the way down. The repair went fine but about a day later after using the window maybe 3 times the problem returned. I stopped back by 2 months later when back in FL and he gladly took another look at the problem and called once it was good to go. Before I pulled off we checked the window and it wouldn t go down at all, he said it was working just fine before and must be a faulty switch (not the original diagnoses). The switch was working fine all along and when I asked what he wanted to do he said he would try to source a switch but it wasn t on him. I followed up a couple of hours later, this time he said it wasn t the switch but the window was working again after he gave it a couple of taps. I m disappointed in the overall uncertainty of this repair and how quick he was to pass the blame only to later have to retract his statement. I have no doubt that I will encounter the problem again and I unfortunately don t live in Gainesville to pop in and out of his shop.The cost of the repair was about $170 and I m sure cheaper than most places. His attitude and willingness to try to resolve the problem was great hence the 4-stars. Ultimately I drive away again with a working window, I just don t know if it s truly fixed.Also, the door now sounds like parts are loose on the inside whenever I close it. Very fairly priced and highly professional work! Had a tree limb fall on my car s rear window and destroy it. He did a great job, He did not rush the job. He was professional and very courteous when he arrived. Same goes with his assistant. They were the best i would recommend them to do anything in regards to glass. They did our two piece windshield for a 94 Monaco Dynasty. The job was hard due to the person prior doing the worst job ever but Bon Will Auto Glass stuck to his price and did the best job. Thanks Bon Will Auto Glass

Jim is great, and he was able to solve a problem that a big chain in town could not! All for relatively the same price. The place was a little hard to find and it s a one man shop. However, you cannot put a price on the experience and kindness of Jim. Highly recommend.

I needed my right door, passenger window repaired right away. I looked all over the internet, and was only receiving prices ranging from $300.00 to $400.00 for, with at least a week wait time for an appointment. I called Bon-Will Auto Glass and was able to get a same-day appointment, with a really good price, and was given the best customer service. They definitely have a loyal customer in me.
