John S was amazing. Excellent customer service. Relatable and educated on changing the battery. He answered my questions and didn t show annoyance with my lack of information. The young lady with the short hair was pretty good as well, got me looked up, gave me some information about the battery and provided me with a correct battery.

!! If you re a lady, or anyone, please go with someone !!Originally, I was hesitant to post about this due to my full name being shown in the review, but since it s been occasionally still bothering me, I made adjustments and decided to post. I am a college student & this occurred last semester (fall 2023).I had problems with my tires, and I had to go to 5 different locations including this location. There were two people casually talking outside. A worker and a middle aged man, but I didn t think about it much. They seemed to be friends/close based on the way they were talking, but these are just assumptions. Not sure why the man was hanging around in the area, because it is kind of secluded. I went inside to ask questions and one of the workers by the front desk was very helpful by recommending other places that could help since they did not have what I needed. After only spending a few minutes inside, I went straight to my car to text my brother what they ve told me.I was greeted by a knock on the window and my first mistake was rolling down the windows (but it caught me off guard & I wanted to be polite). The man that was talking with the worker walked over. He looked to be late 30s to early 50s. I can t remember exactly what he said, but in summary, he asked me a few questions related to if I had family in the army, husband in the military. I replied no to all of them. He introduced himself by saying that he was homeless and that he used to be in the army. Unlike the other black homeless men he got himself together and he just needed $15(?) to help him with his situation. Since I had my windows all the way down & he was leaning forward against my car with his arms resting on the door and his hands in my car, I felt scared. Usually it s good vibes & I happily donate, but in this situation, I felt obligated and was scared to say no. The parking lot was pretty much empty except for a car to my left, but the people looked occupied.He then asked if he could show me gratitude, which I thought he was going for a handshake (and would ve been ok with), but I was shocked when he kissed the back of my hand. I remember feeling repelled, mostly because of the vibe and because I don t like people I don t know touching me on that level.He proceeded to tell me I was pretty & asked if I had a husband no , he asked if I had a boyfriend (I lied and said yes). But he kept pushing and asked if I had sex yet. I felt really uncomfortable. This was when I should ve left, but I felt like I couldn t. My friends told me that I should ve left a while ago That I shouldn t have rolled down my windows and ignored him to begin with, but now I know better. I should ve lied again, but I told him the truth, prompting him to ask more questions: why not? You re super pretty etc. The way he stared at me creeped me out the most. It gives me the chills and I still remember it. What would have he done if no one else was there? I remember giving him a quick response, laughing it off, and saying I really had to go bc of my brother. He surprisingly stopped leaning (got his hands out of my car) and I left as quickly as possible. I cried on FaceTime the whole drive home and no matter how many times I washed my hands, it didn t feel like enough. I know what happened may not seem bad, but I felt terrified and disgusted which validates the reaction.This is the first and thankfully the only time I ve experience anything something like this. This is also my first google review. From the 2 minute interaction I had, they were helpful with recommendations, but I m rating it a one star due to the workers letting him hang around and to catch other people s eyes as a warning. Based on the other reviews during that time, it seems like other people experienced flirty encounters as well. I m not sure if it s still happening now, but please please go with someone to avoid this

I was in Gainesville visiting, and started having problems starting my car. AutoZone was the nearest place. The employee came out and tested my system for me. It needed a new battery and the employee replaced it for. Everyone at the store was very helpful.

Went in to get a battery today. A young guy named Kevin assisted me. However I guess his idea of assisting me before the actual help I needed was telling me how cute I was and if I was married and wanting to flirt. Definitely not the experience that I needed.

The store manager was great and the staff employees are awesome. They are always willing to help and they have never taken advantage of a female customer. I drive about 6 miles to come to this store because of how friendly and helpful their employees are!

Don t take your car here . The men will try to flirt with you instead of working on your carI was sold a bad battery here . After 2 weeks myCar needed a jump to start . When I took it back they kept telling meIt was a good battery . And not doing anything. I took it to another auto zone by the mall and it was because they didn t put myBattery-in correctly and it wasn t getting a charge . They fixed it at another placeBut this place is terrible . DO NOT take your car here.

When looking for parts, you should always call before going there and they might connect you to the other store that has to part if they don't have it.

Dealt with an avalanche of issues after issue in dealing with a possible alternator/battery problem. Felix the CSM and his associates went above and beyond the call of duty to get this Dodge back on the road. Over an hour in the full sun, 98 degrees, no complaints. Thank you Felix!

I ve shopped here on multiple occasions and every employee I ve worked with has been extremely helpful and willing to go above and beyond to help me out. They re honest people and won t make you pay more than what s necessary for parts and services. Jordan did a great job of making sure I understood what I was purchasing and the rest of the staff is very attentive. Would highly recommend!

Store Manager Anas and his team earn my business every time I visit.They are competent, compassionate, and willing to help me solve my car needs.It is what I believe a Car Shop SHOULD be.From diagnosis to shopping for parts to installing them properly, they are able to guide me the whole way. Educating me, making me feel comfortable as we go.I am grateful for my experience at this store, and am a loyal customer with AutoZone because of businesses like this one.

The team members at this Autozone store go above and beyond each time I visit. Jay helped me out today fixing some bulbs and fuses on my car and I could not have done it without him! Very kind and compassionate staff and I will be returning here for my car needs in the future.

Staff was super lazy and dumb didn t even know how to change a light bulb for my headlight. When the dude asked for help his co workers became obsolete but I guess it s just a reflection of their age plz hire people with some actual auto knowledge. This place sucks go to the one by wingstop they seemed more decent and knowledgeable. The staff at this store are all BOZO s if I had 4 hands I d give them 4 thumbs down.

D was an angel after we had a mom very sick in hospital n we needed a tire n got tires from a place that did us wrong n made it for us not able to drive car but closed business, n all other stores were closed n he went above n be on to help us. Our father had to get a ride from strangers from hospital. Plz recognize him. Ty Danny tricia patty

Went for a battery change. The guy who helped me was incredible and nice. I believe his name was Ulysses Fisher. I apologize if I spelled it wrong. He was fast with getting me the right battery. He installed it for me so quickly. He didn't pressure me to buy the most expensive battery, but didn't try to sell me a piece of junk. He told me my options and I chose the one I wanted. Some other customers refused to wear masks properly but all employees were wearing masks properly and there is a plastic shield protecting employees at the register. Great and fast service. Really nice employees.
