Tom and Victor, both automotive geniuses, are awesome! Tom installed my Supercharger and Methanol injection on my Tundra when he worked for KSR Performance here in town and I was very impressed with the care and perfection he took with it! So when my Subaru STI race car got a hack job build by a local Subaru "specialist" I was relieved to find out that Tom opened his own shop! He found and fixed everything that was done wrong to my car and fixed it all with the precision and care that I thought I would get paying top dollar at a "specialist"... Very few mechanics operate at the level 901 garage does, they do top notch work! Tom and Victor are very very smart and methodical and have an in depth understanding of how all the systems work on almost any car.. They work on your vehicle like it's their own and don't give up! Tom spent a lot of time with me describing in detail everything he did to the point where I didn't even feel the need to look at his invoice. Thanks a lot guys! I'll be recommending you to anybody I know that needs work done on their car! My car feels dialed in now!

Initially went to another mechanic who btw had this annoyed look and tone of voice even though the appointment was made before hand, so I looked on google and found 901 garage owned by Tom. When I called Tom immediately he was courteous on the phone told me he ll be able to see me at around 1pm which was great since It was an emergency, my car basically decelerated while driving on the highway. Got to my appointment welcomed with a pleasant smile and he immediately got to working, he explained every step to me which was great I m ignorant mostly on mechanical issues so to have what s wrong with my car told to me as he went along was awesome. Whiles working on the initial problem he pointed out to me other problems I was unaware of and gave recommendations on who I can go see to get it fixed. He s definitely my go to man now whenever I have a issue and recommend him highly to anybody needing work done on their vehicle.

We were driving home to North Carolina and 4 hours into our drive, the car started making a funny noise and the engine light started flashing. It s Saturday and all the mechanics we called were closed, until Tom at 901 answered. He told us to come by, and spent literally 30-40 minutes on our car while we hung out with his sweet dog, Todd. We are back on the road now and the car sounds great. Thank you, 901 garage!!!!!!!Service: Engine repair

Absolutely phenomenal work, Tom is a scientist when it comes to engines, his precision and OCD is impeccable considering that he refuses to slap parts together like most shops in town. He worked on my sr20det like if it was his own taking time to make sure everything was done right the first time and had me through the whole repair process fast! His customer service skills are great and always told me how it was straightforward, never tried to push part on me I didn't need. All in all I loved the whole experience and would recommend him for any engine building, suspension work, or general mechanical needs.

I had to get my AC compressor replaced. Tom was amazing, showed me exactly what he was going to do, kept me informed during the whole process, and even came in under his original quote (which he told me was the worst case scenario number). A complete pleasure to work with, would definitely recommend to anyone!

Fixed my AC and found/fixed many issues i didn t even know I had. Very honest and knowledgeable mechanic. Most thorough and detail oriented and as a result, I haven t had any problems since. Reasonably priced and went above and beyond.

I could not recommend this place more. He won't screw you over like many mechanics do. Fixed my car in less than half an hour. Good guy doing good honest work.
