As a business owner myself I have to recommend Tribbs Automotive as "The Go To" place for any repairs!! Their staff are top of the line for knowledge and ability! Todd was very accommodating in my situation! Mike and Richard made the diagnostic on my engine with superior skills. Thank you to a great team!!

I can t thank everyone at this shop enough! They were so friendly and accommodating. We had a huge nail in our tire and air was going out quickly. They took us in immediately and fixed it up. I didn t realize until after that they were actually already closed for Christmas. Definitely a Christmas miracle! Thank you again and best of luck to the owner and maintenance man retiring! You guys are awesome!

Went by here today unplanned and asked for a little help..(something fairly simple just airing up some brand new mountain bike tricycle tires)Another gentleman and a guy named Duke helped me and I was out the door in less than 10 minutes! Service with a smile even for a little odd request! I was happy to pay even though they didn't want to accept it!Thank you.. thank you so very much you made my day and my week a little bit brighter!I'm so glad to see that these little mom and pop Auto places still exist as it's what I grew up with and learned to depend on very young!!

I called Tribs and informed them I needed to bring my vehicle in. I explained to them that it was possibly the fuel pump, because that was the code that was provided on my scanner. After their diagnostics, they said it was the mass airflow sensor, which was tripping the fuel pump, which then was giving off a bad fuel pump sensor code. They were not trying to scam me for a new fuel pump replacement, and given me the correct diagnosis straightforward. The further told me I had a bad wheel bearing and that I could purchase it off of a website and do it myself rather than paying for them to do it.

Great service. Was able to get a last minute appointment. They fixed what was needed and gave the car a once over and let me know what else I needed. I will continue to use them .

I ve used Tribbs on several occasion over the past few years , for various repairs; A/C, engine mount replacement, axle replacement, wheel bearings and other issues. Most repairs were completed within a day of dropping the vehicles off. Lenny and the staff are great. They get your vehicle in as quickly as possible and diagnose it. You get a thorough explanation of what s wrong and an honest, no nonsense or inflated estimate. You can feel confident that they re not running up your bill with fake issues. My husband took his truck here and they were great, got it running well and we felt was priced appropriately. He found out the issue wasn t actually our engine so it saved us a lot having someone knowledgeable to fix it correctly. Also thanks to Mr. Tony Biggott Transmission for the referral to Tribs! Tribbs is the ONLY place I would ever take any of my vehicles. Lenny is an amazing, fair and honest mechanic. My extended family and myself have gone to Tribbs for over 20 years. I have never been treated at ANY business better then I have a Tribbs. I can drop any of my vehicles (personal or business) and not have to worry about shortcuts or overpricing. Tribbs is by far, the business I trust most. If all business s ran with the Integrity Lenny and the good folks at Tribbs do, we d be a more efficient and worry free community. I love Tribbs!

A hose fitting broke and all the coolant bled out of my truck. I had a pre-existing a/c issue too. Several other shops in the area said it would be at least a week or more before I could even bring the truck in, due to being so busy. Trib s said to bring it in and they would work it in. They got on it within a day and fixed it in 4 days. The a/c issue was elect and required some digging. They even knocked out a few small issues I hadn t noticed. They explained everything they did when I picked it up and even gave a few tips to avoid future issues. Richard, Lenny and the rest of the crew were great. Kind, thoughtful folks who just want you to have a good experience and a car that does what you need. My car is no spring chicken and has seen better days, and I don't have the budget to fix anything beyond the necessities. Trib's is up front and honest about what it needs, and won't try to sell me anything more than exactly what I ask for. I've had other places talk to me like they expect me to know nothing about my car, and have even had some shops lie to me about what kind of brake fluid my car needs, do stuff I didn't ask for/give permission for and then want me to pay them for it, or cause new problems and refuse to take responsiblity, but never Trib's. The folks at Trib's always treat me with respect and honesty, which is all I can ask for in a repair shop. They have a quick turnaround, they're great with communication, and they absolutely know what they're doing.

After our experience here it was wild for me to see all these great reviews. After our first mechanic gave up on the issue we took it here to have our Hyundai handled by someone who specialized in them. It took them 2.5 months and expensive guesswork before they turned a running car into a piece of junk. Not to mention we had to fight for updates, and after the whole ordeal when a Hyundai dealership correctly identified the issue immediately - they had no excuses or answers for us. Too bad we spent too much on the car to be able to afford legal action.Services: Electrical repair, Engine repair

Tourists CALL LENNY AT TRIBS! What a wonderful shop! TAKES CARE OF YOU IF YOU ARE OUT OF TOWN as if you are a local! They understand that your out of town money helps their community, so they take care of you! Honest, fair, value pricing. I can't say enough good about this place! If you're on vacation and you have a mechanical issue, don't let it ruin your stay... Just call TRIBS!

This is the most honest auto shop I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Not only do we have our personal vehicles repaired there along with regular maintenance, we also have all our work vehicles serviced there as well. Lenny is a great guy as are the mechanics. I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else, especially Gary Smith Ford who are a bunch of thieves.

Sure wish I had a Trib's back home! This business earns more than five stars. While vacationing, our vehicle had some issues and Lenny at Trib's took care of us promptly! Moreover, they are so reasonably priced. Thank you for such great service and treating us like family!

Best Service Ever! I was recently in Ft. Walton on a family vacation when our RV had some mechanical problems. To make a long story short, Trib's Auto took excellent care of us. They diagnosed and fixed the problem within 48 hours! It's so hard to find good service in an unfamiliar town but we were lucky enough to find Trib's. Lenny was the person I dealt with and he couldn't have been better. Obviously very experienced and knowledgable. Highly recommend!

Best shop in town for your daily driver. ONLY place in okaloosa county I take my vehicles to. Amazing service and people. They even managed to impress my wife!!! And that's seriously saying something!!! She approved of them so much that now she doesn't even question what I do with the truck, as long as I take it to Mr. Lenny and the boys! Tribs Auto is the shop of choice for me when it comes to absolute service that I can depend on for all of my vehicles. Lenny & Crew are very knowledgeable, extremely courteous, and often go well above and beyond to deliver on promises backed by warranties you can trust. If you own a vehicle, then you well know that shops like this one are virtually extinct nowadays.

I really appreciate Tribs ! I am single . Hard to find a honest mechanic, well that has been my experience. I drive from Defuniak Springs. Now my single friends are using them also . Doesn't matter when we have to drive there , it's so much worth it !!!!

This is the only place I will ever take our vehicles. These are good people, extremely honest. They don't mislead you. I couldn't be more grateful for their outstanding quality of work and reasonable prices .I thought my clutch was going out, it turns out I was just out of break fluid and atf fluid (thank you pepboys and tuffys for not doing your job during routine oil changes).Another time they put new honda fluid in my car and an oil change for an amazing price .These are good real people who are out to do a great job without screwing you.Thank you so much Lenny and Tribbs Auto. We had major A.C. problems with our Yukon during 4th July week with a 14 hour ride ahead of us going home. These wonderful guys fit us into their schedule and charged a very fair price with speedy completion. Nice to know honest hard-working people are still out there! Glad the GMC dealership never called us back!

Local Nissan dealer quoted several thousand dollars for replacement of head gasket, Tribs replaced radiator and thermostat, fixed like new for $500. Been taking my cars here for 25 years, all my children trust Tribs. While stationed at Hurlbert Field for 10 years my wife took our cars here and I had one less worry as I delt with American enemies. This HONEST repair shop is a local treasure. Five stars is not enough.

Scammer tried to sell me a $1500 compressor that s at advanced auto parts for $275.00I understand mark up but that s crazy. When I tried to talk to him about price he said come get ur van. Well of course he wants me to come get it because it doesn t run because the pulley is locked up and belts off.

Honest, honest, honest.I left my wife's van with them for a day because of a weird noise it exhibited at times. They couldn't definitively say but provided a very honest answer, "We think the problem is the wheel bearing but don't want you to spend money on it right now until the noise is more pronounced so we can be more sure." No charge!
