Visited Subaru to get a new ride, traveling from Pensacola because my local Subaru isn't the best customer friendly , met with Amy thru a phone call after I had submitted a request online for information. 2 days later I came into the store, she was very pleasant, professional, gorgeous. She helped me look at a few different Foresters. I originally wanted the limited, but after looking at and driving the Wilderness I knew it was the one I wanted, I elected for a sexy black color as all the bumpers and paint mixed well with the hints of yellow around the vehicle, I couldn't get the vehicle at the right price, went to lunch and came back and negotiated more, I was finally ready to strike a deal, it was as painless as it could go, the only downside was in the detailing and getting the vehicle ready, I feel like at the point of purchasing , they should've immediately taken the car over to get it detailed, worst case if I walked out on the deal, the vehicle is cleaner than before. Definitely give Amy a shot at selling you a Subaru, and get you a wilderness edition while you are at it!

Finally got a beautiful and reliable car with the help of Kemar and Erik at this dealership! They helped me reach my price point, as well as get the nicest car i ve ever had ! Very happy with my purchase and the customer service here.

Amy, Cory, Munch and team were so wonderful to work with! I flew from Michigan to Florida to pick up my car, because it was not only the best deal that I found, but Cory was so thorough in sending me a video of every little inch of the car and answering all of my detailed questions. Seriously, so thorough. And accurate!Then Amy stepped in to support the purchase, answer more of my questions, even giving me recommendations of where to eat while I was in town.Munch picked me up from the airport, which in and of itself was a luxury, to arrive and have somebody there to pick me up.Everyone was so wonderful, so friendly, and even the work environment seemed delightful. I heard from a few people that worked there how much they appreciated their management, and you could see by the team moral that this is a great place to be.Thank you for my beautiful new car, but more so for the amazing service!

Love my car! Great company that works with you on getting into the car you love. Amy (my salesperson) was helpful and friendly. Amy helped soothe my nerves throughout the whole process. Car shopping is stressful and a headache but they try to make the process as less stressful as possible. I also enjoyed that they didn t pressure me into getting something..I hate that about car salespeople. Definitely would go through them again! (I live in Missouri)

Our salesmen Mark Delavega was so kind and patient during my test drive. He was honest and upfront about the car, which made it easier to make this decision to buy my all electric Subaru Solterra.Also the gentleman(wish I remembered his name) that s in the parts department patiently explained all the features of the car and answered all my questions.

I had been looking at Toyotas for months... serendipity found me at Step One Subaru. Left with a beautiful 2021 Subaru Ascent Limited. I just LOVE it! It's spacious and roomy and SO comfortable! The Ascent also has GREAT safety features! Matt Leahman is the nicest, non-pushiest, straight-up car salesman I have ever dealt with. He is from the area and is a good man from a good family. He really worked with me and I got a good deal on this beauty I purchased. This was the first time I bought a car by myself (no grandpa, ex, father) at the age of 62 yo. It was a great experience and I am proud of myself! EVERYONE there is so friendly and helpful in a non-fake way. Like the financial man Jim said, "All we want you to have to do is put gas in it". Melissa runs the best service shop I've ever seen. She and Ethan were so phenomenal to me answering my mechanical questions. I'm so happy and at peace that this dealership has my back on maintenance, service and any issues or problems that I may have. This is NOT the Subaru you may have heard about before Step One bought it and relocated the dealership to north Beal. It's important to me that I am comfortable and have a good customer service rapport with anyone I do business with. I found everything I was looking for at Step One Subaru!!!

Love my 2nd Subaru, it s a nice comfortable drive.I tell everyone they need to check out Subaru. My first was an 2021 Ascent, it was a great vehicle but I needed to downsize, and the Outback fits that need. Love my Fort Walton Beach Dealership and Everlee , my Sales Gal, who was very knowledgeable of her lot of vehicles, and on top of her game for answering my questions about the Outback. Great Combination!

Our sales person Leann Munch was amazing. The dealership was very nice and helpful. They were professional and didn t play the normal dealership games I remember having to negotiate when I purchased my last vehicle at a different dealership.

What a wonderful experience purchasing my first Subaru! Let me begin by saying I met the nicest people from my first contact with Cory, an internet manager who then connected me with a very knowledgeable sales lady, Amy Broadt. Amy was very patient with me, answered all of my questions and offered information I didn t realize I needed to know. She knew I was in the process of test driving several other vehicles at other dealer locations. I test drove a couple Subarus while there. She encouraged me to pursue my other test drives and to contact her with any question's. Long story short. I did leave to test drive the other vehicles, but honestly I was sold before I left. The next day, we sealed the deal and I met other staff members who helped me understand what I was purchasing and answered all my questions. Thanks to Amy, Sam, Jeff, Cory, and the rest of the team at Subaru Ft. Walton!

I don t know where to start! I was vacationing in Okaloosa from Tennessee. The day before having to go back home I ended up getting a screw/nail in a tire. I tired multiple locations for a replacement tire (even Toyota dealership for the vehicle is a 2023 Prius) and no one was able to assist me other then when I called the parts department at Subaru Fort Walton Beach and the gentleman was able to help me within 5 minutes to order the tire and luckily have it the next day! The next day I was able to get the tire installed and back on the road safely without any problems and concerns for my trip back home! I am highly satisfied and would recommend Subaru Fort Walton Beach to anyone for vacation assistance (even not driving a Subaru) as well as if living in the area for your service/maintenance needs or if looking for a new vehicle for they showed me they care for their customers and go beyond to ensure satisfaction!

We went back to James Bondi for our second Subaru purchase. Our experience both times has been the best ever of any of our car buying experiences. James went above and beyond to find the best vehicle for our needs within the budget we set. The financing process was seamless, everyone was patient with our wild kids, and they even have snacks! I can t recommend this dealership and James enough!We also have lots of experience with the service department - always excellent customer service there as well.

The service department is top notch!We came to Florida from Wisconsin on a beach vacation. Half way down, the engine lights came on in our car. On Monday morning, we took a trip to this service department to see what was the matter. Turns out is was a safety matter and our ABS sensor had gone out. Apparently this is a part that is hard to come by. They had quite the ordeal finding a replacement part. They put us in a great loner so we could enjoy our vacation while they worked on finding what we needed. After finding the part, and getting it overnighted to the service department, we were able to leave for home on schedule.I highly recommend their service department for any Subaru needs!

We recently purchased a used Subaru Legacy and called with questions regarding Apple Car Play. We were connected with Ethan and he was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, answered all our questions and gave us info we didn t know regarding important preventive maintenance checks at 60 and 100K miles. This was looking to buy a new car that was smaller than the Outback that we purchased. The sales representative listened to what we were looking for and we were able to get what we were looking at. They were very attentive to the price that we wanted and made it happen. Subaru has always been very good when it comes to buying a car. Great service.

We unfortunately were in an accident in our 2023 Outback a couple months and it was totaled so we needed a new vehicle. Of course we went right back to Subaru because even the cops were impressed with our airbags. Leann was AMAZING! She found the best deal for us that worked well within our budget and got us in a new vehicle so fast! If you re in need of a new vehicle, stop by and see her!

Car buying isn't usually a pleasant experience, but ours was about as easy at it could be. Our salesperson Everly was outstanding and great to deal with. She even brought the vehicle too us while we were eating across the street so we didn't have to rush back when it was ready. Got the vehicle we wanted at the price we wanted. Even the backside finance part was simple and non pressure. I usually drive my vehicles til the wheels fall off, but if I'm looking for something right before that happens, im checking out this dealer.

The entire car buying process was smooth and reasonable and every employee we encountered was personable and never pushy. Through mere happenstance, I test drove five different Subaru's all on the same day. The awesome salesman "James", and I, had crossed paths with at a different dealership two years previously. He was very helpful and wasn't pushy. I am very happy to say, that I managed to garner an awesome deal on a Subaru one day prior to Xmas eve. I even won an awesome sound bar. The biggest difference I noticed was the amount of people that worked there but more importantly, the cohesion between one another. It projected a family-like atmosphere that is not often seen in dealerships. Again, Thank you James.

Good dealership and employees. They bent over backwards to get us our car. It was a good deal too. Quality. They listened, they were friendly, they went above and beyond. Great rate. Awesome experience and we would for sure go back. My husband is thrilled with his new Subaru. Staff and management were excellent. They stayed so late for us bc of our working hours. They did not stop until we were able to take it home to Pcola. We normally don t like going shopping for cars but they made this process easier than usual. We liked working with Leanne Aronen. Would do it again. And again. Step One is always good to us.

WOW! This is the most incredible dealership I've ever experienced. I've owned Porsche, MBZ, BMW, Lexus and when I'm at Subaru Ft Walton Beach I feel like everyone there really cares about my experience. Friendly, helpful, and just plain nice. And when I informed them I wouldn't be completing my purchase until March - nothing changed. I spoke with the sales manager and he was very genuine, courteous and professional. It starts from the top . If you are looking for a dealer that exudes respect, honesty, and true concern for their clients, Subaru Ft Walton Beach is the best I've found.

Kemar was an absolutely amazing salesman! Not only was he incredibly patient with my significant other and I, didn t pressure us but let us know he was ready to make a deal whenever we were ready, he also ensured that we got into exactly the right car while going to bat for us to get us a good deal.
