ReviewsPlayground autoI am a 30 year old female and I want to rave about this place to everyone.I have only been a customer for about 6 months, and I have had my oil changed, transmission serviced, lift gate motor replaced, a wheel bearing assembly replaced, and a check engine light diagnosis, & timing chains replaced.It truly feels like I am taken in like their family when I walk in the doors .They have never tried to upsell me or made me feel uncomfortable or uninformed. They have always been very clear and communicative and taken care of me and my vehicle like it was carrying their family members, nieces and nephews.They have, on their own accord, printed diagrams of parts of my engine to show me where to issue is & have directly explained all components to me.They treat every customer and their cars with care and priority.I cannot express the gratitude I feel having found a mechanic shop where I feel so safe and comfortable.

Super straight forward people. Shop had been around since I was a child and there s definitely a reason why! Fair pricing and great communication as well as speed with getting my car back to me.

My car has become a frequent flyer here, every time they do their best to communicate with me and work around my school/work schedule. Diagnostics have been fast and done for a fair price. Once they even towed my car off Eglin AFB. Hopefully won't be back soon, but if I am, I know they'll do great work.

I had my oil changed and transmission fluid flushed. Next day 90 miles into my travel to visit family something went terribly wrong on interstate at 80 mph. Transmission fluid was blown out all over left tire, tire well, undercarriage, left side and rear of car. Called Playground. They immediately and throughout the entire experience assured me they would take care of my car as well as me and my old and feeble dog Sam. And they did! When the warranty co-op they pay to assist when customers need assistance when out of the local FWB are failed to assist, without hesitation sent their flatbed wrecker and a mechanic to me (90 miles away). Artie even brought water for my dog. Mike and Rich followed up, kept me informed and Playground stood by their promise to take care of and responsibility for this frightening experience at no charge to me. Playground Auto Repair is respected, reliable, professional, caring. I will be using them for my auto care from now in! So nice to experience trusted integrity in today s times where so many businesses have little or none. This was a harrowing day made into an uplifting experience because of the crew at Playground Auto Repair.

My wife and I wasn't pleased with how our suv drove after we had the steering components replaced. We wanted it to handle correctly, we got it back slightly better than we dropped it off. We were also unaware that they don't do alignments, they have another shop do alignments.All in all, staff was nice and understanding, but was basically told "that's the best we can do," not really what we were wanting to hear.If you want something done where your 100% happy, do it yourself or go to a shop that specializes in what the issue is.

Playground was recommended by another auto serviceas being good and having the proper equipment to service my '05 Tundra with a sealed transmission. They were quite cordial, took me right in and did fast and excellent work. I highly recommend them.

Came in with an electrical problem over the holidays, and the crew was on it and repaired within a short period... I started my association with Playground Auto in 2011 and veered off once to another service station with a total regret, they are trusted, family oriented and friendly with lower than expected costs. I highly appreciate and recommend!!!

All the staff at Playground Auto were so kind and respectful. They put me at ease about the expense to fix my car's AC fan, how long it might take, when to bring it in, etc. The waiting room was very comfy and interesting with so many things to see around me. I took my car in due to an alarm that was malfunctioning. Their idea of disabling the alarm was to rip out all of the wiring which also dismantled my aftermarket auto start and alarm system along with the cars factory alarm AND all of the locks must be manually locked and unlocked because they don't work automatically. I have yet to get a quote for how much it is going to cost to get all of their fabulous handy work repaired correctly.

I called Thursday at 1115 to hopefully get an appointment for the following week to get my breaks done due to a big trip that following week (Christmas). The kind gentleman said they were pretty booked but said they could squeeze me in that afternoon. I was so grateful! When I dropped off my car they immediately took a look at it and told me only the brake pads needed changed and the rotors were fine. I was so relieved. I picked the car up the next morning! I would never take my cars anywhere else but here. I ve always been taken care of and never felt taken advantaged off. It s the best place in FWB!!!Service: Brakes

I called for a tow. Jason answered and was instantly willing to help. Due to it being a Saturday and him working alone he was unable to tow my Jeep the 30 miles I needed, but he was quick to refer me to 3 other tow services that he himself trusted. (The places i called prior to calling Playground were atrocious.) I was able to get my tow and I am so thankful for Jason's kindness in my stressful situation. 10 out of 10 recommend just based on customer service alone.

Playground auto takes care of your vehicle. They don t up sell for additional sales. They do exactly as you ask and let you know if more is REALLY needed. They are trustworthy and accountable! They care about the vehicle and the owner!! They are the best I ve ever encountered.

They were AWESOME! I was on vacation, hundreds of miles away from home going to a destination wedding. My truck started shaking really bad on the highway. Googled, looked at reviews and Playground Auto Service sounded good. Got there one Saturday morning and did not have to wait but 20 minutes or less for a diagnostic review and test drive. The gentleman was honest and told me what needed to be replaced immediately and what could wait a little longer. Price was awesome and affordable and they fixed my truck (replaced tires and mount/balanced) within the hour. Would definitely go back again!!! Also, this was 2 months ago and the fact that I have taken the time to leave a review after that time frame says a lot! Highly recommended!!Service: Tires

A full month in the shop and $2k later, truck still doesn't drive straight. They don't do their own alignments, they drive to one of the two nearby shops to do the alignment. After multiple visits and calls, I'd rather cut my losses than to be told again "this is the best we can do," or "when we drove it, we didn't notice any problems."Service: Steering & suspension repairService: Steering & suspension repair

I was over 1300 miles from home working and had a horrible noise develop. I was referred to Playground by a Lyft driver taking me to the Subaru dealership in Ft Walton, who quoted me $11,500 to repair my car. Playground got me in the next day and had my car back on the road for a 10th of the cost!! Everyone was so friendly too!!

These guys are awesome! Took my truck in and diagnosed the problem very quickly. Kept me updated on the whole process and got my vehicle up and running like new. Fair price and awesome staff!

I came in with a noise in my ac, hoping it was not a huge problem. The service technician was upfront about the cost, the age of the vehicle and weighing the annoyance against the repair. I elected to not get it fixed, and I was not charged. This place has saved my car when other shops cannot diagnose or fix the problems more than once. The prices are always beyond fair and every time I drive away my car is in noticeably better shape than it was. An auto shop with integrity isn't the easiest to come by. If you'd like to stop trying to find one, stop by Playground Auto Service.

Don't go Here, they will break parts on your vehicle tell you things that aren't true also order expensive "parts" and when you try to explain something wasn't the way it was after they get done with it they will try to fast-talk you into believing it was like that before you came not to mention roll their eyes behind your back when they think you're looking..... On one of the things that was broken they did try to fix it but the damage was done so I am unable to ever use my driver side door again . On a different matter the manager told me to come back and he will fix the door handle that was broken but on how they made such a stink I do not trust playground Auto to touch my vehicle again. They really need to look into who they let touch other people's Vehicles before hiring Or maybe everyone is in it to win it.Service: General repairs & maintenance
