Came in needing tires (2 bare and 1 leaking air). Very friendly service. 2 new tires and 1 patched tire came out to about $270 (2 different new tires but that didn't bother me), which I find very affordable. They had to ship 1 of the tires from the warehouse; came in next day and they called me to let me know. Overall good experience.

Ms. Sheila and Chris are great. You don t find many places these days where they treat you like family. Ms. Sheila and Chris helped me out when my engine blew until I had the rest of the money to pay them back. They took my word for it and trusted that I would pay the rest of what I owed, and probably put themselves on the line in the process.This Pep Boys on Racetrack road may be part of a large business chain, but they make sure to treat you with respect and like family. They do great work too.

This is a great automotive care center with dedicated staff. My reviews are based on multiple visits for minor to major services. Each experience was easily facilitated by friendly and expert techs. From courtesy air in my tires to extensive mechanical work, I always receive quality service and care. Kudos to Chris and Jon who bailed me out of an emergency situation with an affordable new set of tires installed at closing time. The job was well performed and 1st rate service provided all the way. I recommend this business. Thank you Pep Boys Staff!

Amazing quick service! I made the appointment to get new tires but I just replaced all of my breaks on my 95 jeep and it was my first time doing drum breaks so I asked if they would be willing to look at everything for me too and they did with no extra fees.

The service is fine but they'll upcharge you without even asking. Went in and asked for just an oil charge, and I got charged $115 for the "Manager's special" which included an inspection and tire rotation which I didn't even ask for. Be very clear up front about what service you want done and how much it will cost.

Had a nail in my tire and had already been to 3 other shops trying to get it patched or replaced and no one was able to help in any timely manner. I was getting really discouraged that I wasn't going to be able to get it fixed in the 3hr time window I had while my kids were at school but also didn't feel comfortable driving my 2 little ones around on a damaged tire I decided to try one more shop and stopped here and they were life savers!! They fit me in right away, repaired my tire quickly, and said it was on the house. I am not sure if they picked up on how distraught and discouraged I was but it truly meant so much!!

DO NOT GO HERE IF HAVE A FOREIGN CAR my car was held here for two-three days. Spent $500 here just for my dealership to tell me how they re-installed parts wrong and didn t line up things properly which lead to my engine light coming on. I got the service, then a few days later my engine light came on. But I waited too long to get it checked out, so now they say they have nothing to do with it. I had to spend another $300 to fix their mistake, but it s my fault for not listening to my dealership and getting a half-a*s service from these people. I don t care about paying the money, just warning future customers!! They can say all they want but my light came on the same week I let them fix my car .

My wife had a bursted flat tire almost at the end of the day. Fortunately we went to Pep Boys in Race Track Road in Fort Walton Beach. Mr. Jon the store supervisor was unbelievably kind and caring, he accepted us when his official operational hour has elapsed, to change four tires. He gave us a great price deal and Jon called the store Manager Mr Christopher who was helping run another store. Mr. Christopher came to the store to and helped his supervisor to fix our car. This was my first unexplainable kindness, care, love and humanity in display. Many people will turn us down and request us to come during their work schedule. There are still angel's within and around us. I sincerely extend my heart felt thanks and admiration to Mr. Jon and Christopher for lifting a burden off us in a weird hour of the knight. I do recommend Pep Boys store in Race Track Raod to anyone. They are kind and genuine in their service.

Chris the Manager was very professional and courteous! After calling the other local Pep Boys who were booked, Chris fit me in and completed the Oil Change himself very quickly! Excellent job! Needs to be commended.

Whoever is answering the phone needs to be fired. I brought my car in they said they couldn t find nothing wrong = they didn t do a full service or take heed to what I said was wrong with it. The goofy desk dude told me, We GoNe HaVe To KiCk YoU OuT Jr CaNt FiNd NaN WrOnG JR was sitting on the coach watching Raw wrestling like my car wasn t out there. They said they test drove it .. my motor mount is loose you would hear squeezing soon as you turn it on or hit a bump. So I scooped my car cause they said there s 0 problems. How about my car stopped turning on the next day. So I paid 100 to tow my car to the same place that said there was nothing wrong with it. Then I told them it s the starter they ordered a 176 used and 340 brand new part. Just to charge me an extra 371-540 just to do something they should ve done first day. Pitiful, sad, rude and not worth the time. The manager cool but Jr. and the desk dude I lowkey want to them on the best day. So disappointed and dissatisfied.

They have predatory business practices. They charge almost $300 dollars when you ask for an oil change and they instead take everything off your car and put there's on without your permission. When it comes time to pay they have three employees hover around you as a dirty high pressure sales tactic. NOT MILITARY friendly. They only have a discount to sucker you in.

I had called Chris after my local pepboys refused to do anything more than add air to my tire. Despite it being 40 minute before close on Sunday he told me to come on down (30 minute drive from Crestview). I arrived 10 mins before close and within a few minutes his tech had found a 4 inch split. As it was not fixable they put on a brand new tire (totally covered with my hazard warranty) These guys are awesome!!!

Thank you so much for being quick and efficient and helping my daughter get back on the road it was almost closing time and a simple fix there was some boards loose underneath the car that wasn't properly screwed back in from an oil change but this gentleman took the time out to fix it I wish I knew his name anyway thank you so much me and my family will be dedicated customers.

Had tires delivered by Tire Rack. I requested that the tires being removed be given back to me as the wear was even on all tires and they were in great shape. Pep Boys negligently ruined one of the take off tires. I stopped by after noticing the damage and showed them, requesting they refund my installation fee as they had cost me a perfectly good set of tires. Made sure they had my contact number as the person I spoke to needed to discuss the issue with his manager. They never reached out to me.Will not do business with this Pep Boys location nor any other most likely. I recommend Tire Rack remove them from their preferred installers list. It is my belief my tire was purposely damaged.

Took my car in because my tire had a screw in it. They fixed it and checked all the other tires for air pressure and adjusted as needed. NO CHARGE. I will come back over and over.

I made an appointment for an oil change two days before hand. I get there, ten minutes early before my appointment time and let them know "hey I had an appointment" first thing they say is "we're running 40 minutes behind." If you know you're running 40 minutes behind, and you have customers that made appointments that day, why not call them with the phone numbers you have on file to let them know and ask whether they mind waiting that 40 minutes before your car is even seen or scheduling a new, maybe later appointment time, or heck even an appointment on another day. I just wanted to get the appointment done, (oil change) so I waited, in the waiting room. The whole time the phones were ringing off the hook with no one answering. An hour later my car is done, and I go to the counter, while another gentleman walks up and says "hey is something wrong with your phones? Cause I just called 5 times in the past hour trying to reach you guys". Cashier replies "could be possible something's wrong with them." Why not just tell him the truth? If you guys are behind and stressed and trying to focus on getting cars done and you just didn't answer the phone....SAY. THAT. Don't lie.And finally, cherry on top. They pull my car up, I thank him, I open my door, and there is black smears all over both my car seats. I go back in, and I tell him "there's black stuff on my car seats" and he assures me that they put seat covers down, but gets the guy who worked on it (who is obviously covered in grease/oil). He looks at my car interior and goes "yeah, that's cause when I pulled your carborater out it was full of leaves" what?? WHAT??? I asked if they had anything to clean it and he grabbed a dry rag and attempted to give it a wipe or two. He did clean off my foot well rugs.....but that wasn't my issue to begin with, and those are made to collect dirt....not the seats. It was the black imprints of a human, smears on my light tan seats that were now a murky brown/black color. No one apologized. No one fixed it. I asked if it would come out and he said "probably with carpet cleaner" and I said "okay." Because he was done half trying anyways. This was my first and last time here. I will never be back. You may be stressed, you may feel rushed, you may be behind but what I am NOT okay with is the fact, I made an appointment, I wasn't a walk-in. You could have called and asked me if I didn't mind rescheduling, INSTEAD of sloppily doing the job, leaving my car dirty and having me have to take time out of my day to clean what should have never happened. Here's to hoping it comes out.

When I had my vehicle towed to the shop, I expected it to be a long time before I saw my vehicle again. Less than 24 hours later I m back on the road. They did a very thorough job and discovered a few things that really needed to be done. I especially liked how they sent me updates and the tracking app was awesome. No nonsense staff made it a snap.

These guys are the best. Professional, friendly, attentive, quick, thorough. I'm impressed and especially grateful. Was having a terrible day, had horrible experiences with 5 other shops after having a triple blowout. They got me back on the road within the hour. You're godsend saviors. Cheers.
