Outstanding customer service! Was traveling through town and had a wheel bearing going bad. Holmes didn't have an opening, but they called all over town and found a reputable repair shop to help me that same day to get me back on the road. My thanks to Holmes Auto Repair for their super help to me--it was much needed and appreciated.

Holmes is always gracious and kind about their service. I had to have my car towed from Destin over to homes they cut me appraised of what the problem was and the cost. The car was ready when promised. In all it was a most favorable experience working with homes for the first time except for the two times they checked my car and didn't charge me. They're the best you'll find.

My car was dead in my driveway on a Monday morning & I had to get it towed. I only trust Holmes to take care of my car, they squeezed in getting my car looked at since they were booked & it was a battery replacement! Very friendly staff that treat you like family. I just picked my vehicle up and I love this place. When I called to make my appointment they were friendly and accommodating. As soon as I pulled up you could tell this was a business that cared about what they were doing. The office was clean ad welcoming. Everyone was friendly and professional. They started and finished my vehicle when they said they would. The price was right at the estimate was true. I will definitely keep coming back.

We delayed getting our oil leak fixed because we knew it was a significant job (seal between front end and back end). We are consistently happy with everyone at Holmes. Quality work! We have a truck with 300,000 miles on it and want to get some more. Thank-you very much for all of your work.

Really happy with the outcome of their performance! We had been to 2 other shops with same problem and it wasn't resolved. Holmes took care of the loud vibration noise which can be difficult to troubleshoot. The vehicle is old, but reliable so we depend on it! I appreciated their professionalism in the way they communicate. Also they protect your seat with plastic cover & paper floormat to ensure your car remains clean. They worked the issue quickly. They have an app to keep you informed about the status of your car- nice touch! The ladies in the front office were so nice too! Happy we have found our new auto repair shop!Service: General repairs & maintenance

This was the first time I had used Holmes. They were all absolutely amazing, my Mini broke down in New Orleans, we managed to get it transported back to Holmes. They replaced the broken part, checked over the rest of the engine too to make sure everything else was good & they also replaced my washer bottle that had been needing to be done for a little while.Once the parts had arrived they were very quick at changing them out so I could get it back on the road.They explained everything to me, were really helpful & polite during the whole process.

I just moved here from Maryland and my car was making noise after the drive. I had an idea of it being that the brakes needed to be changed. I called Holmes Auto Repair and he offered to look at it and see what was going on that day. As soon as I got there it was a welcoming experience, between the ladies in the office and Mike I knew that I was going to be taken care of. He even spoke to my dad on the phone to explain what exactly was going on, lord knows I wouldn t have been able to re-explain it! They made sure that I was able to get around and do so safely! Fast, honest work. Great communication + reasonable prices. Amazing staff!UPDATE: Recently they were very busy. I called the shop and Mike was able to listen to the issues I was having with my car and diagnose the issue over the phone. He told me how to perform the easy fix myself which was so simple I was able to do it! He then told me to bring the car by for a quick visual check which he did. As someone who moves around a lot, finding such an honest and helpful mechanic is priceless. Thank all of you guys at Holmes Auto Repair!

Holmes Auto Repair has been my mechanic since I moved to Florida. They were highly recommended to me by a colleague and I'm glad they were! I live off of used cars and so I'm no stranger to mechanics. Holmes has been friendly and very professional. They've always made time in their schedule to get me in and make sure to do a great job at a great price. The staff is honest about the state of cars and will recommend what's best for you and not just what's best for themselves to make a sale. I trust them with all my car repair needs. I have been a customer of Holmes for over a decade and have trusted multiple vehicles to them. I was referred by a friend that his family has been loyal customers for several decades. Just that should speak volumes. From owner Mike to the friendly front end customer service folks to the expert mechanics in the back, I have had nothing but great experiences. I ve always been impressed with these guys. So far I have had my Jeep there at least 5 times...because it s a Jeep. Every time they fix it and they do a great job. This last time I took it in and they not only fixed the part that I brought it on for, but they also fixed a light that hasn t worked for the last year. I didn t even ask them to fix it, because it wasn t a big deal to me. They definitely go above and beyond in order to keep their customers happy. I m definitely never going anywhere else. Keep up the great work, Holmes.

Simply, The Best! Both of our vehicles are experiencing terrible problems and I m not sure if Holme s Auto Repair is the greatest repair operation in Okaloosa County, or basically the kindest company on the Emerald Coast. Dependability is what you can expect from these very knowledgeable and kind mechanics. They ve literally taken care of our family as if we are their family and we couldn t be more thankful. Trustworthy, accurate, knowledgeable are words to describe their staff and service. Took my 1996 chevy silverado to them because I was referred to them by Preston hood chevroletThey called me and said my truck was running great. I paid them $1006.00 for a tune up because it was running bad. Now it runs worseAfter I paid them I tested the truck out and went back in to them set my keys down on the counter and told them it was not running properlyThen walked out to my truck. I then decided to take it to a new shop and asked for my keys back .they said NO. I haven t had auto service like this in a very long time. These people are exceptional in every way. I had an old Caddy that my late mother owned, and I wasn t ready to give up on it yet. It needed a lot of work. They went over it thoroughly, called me with their findings and estimate, had it done in no time. I can t believe how good that old car drove home from the shop. Quality like this is all too rare in today s world. Well done!

Holmes Auto is a great, full service repair company. They ve been in business forever and that s because they re efficient, friendly and have excellent employees. They actually care about their customers and treat you like a person, not an invoice. I ve had repairs done there on several occasions and can t recommend them any higher.
