Very personable team . Amazing service. Replaced battery and alternator in record time. This group will work with you anyway the can. My car runs great . Will going back in a month for brakes and and fan motor. Quality service given. I wouldn't use anyone else ..

I've been taking my vehicles to Global Transmission for years and have always been thankful for their service. They have not only completely rebuilt two transmissions for my Durango and Honda but have accomplished many other services; A/C work, strut replacement, timing belt changes, etc. And always for a very reasonable price! My dad got his transmission done here this last week. Not only was the truck fixed within just a couple of days but the service was great. He helped my dad with his battery, when he didn t have to, and my dad over all had a great experience here and we will definitely recommend them and be using them again!

I'm excited that I've found a transmission place that's reasonable, and came highly recommended. I'm taking my vehicle to be repaired in a few days with a promise that it will be ready in two days afterwards! They gave me a written detailed estimate of what expect.Thanks, in advance, Global.

Was referred to this place from a local sheriff who said they were best in a 50 mile radius . Another shop in Crestview had quoted me $4800 to repair my F150 and they said it might fix the issue these guys instantly knew my main problem, a torque converter, and quoted me $1,200 to fix it . They suggested that I should keep in mind bearings for my rear in the near future for $495 but it could wait I told them to go ahead and fix it when they got to one side they discovered my rear axle was literally starting to grind down on the threads where it connected . So the good news, was they caught it before it became a total failure issue they ordered everything needed from Ford and my repair now became a total of $4,200 BUT, they actually fixed things that were wrong for sure, AND sent photos or showed me in person what was wrong to fully make me aware . A week after I got my truck back the seal in the back right axle started leaking . It was under warranty with Global so they fixed it for no charge and have me a credit with them for the trouble for future work. My 2013 F150 ecoboost with 175,000 miles drives like it s new now and I expect to get another 100,000 miles out of her without anything else major . Highly recommend these guys, their communication, and service!!

I can't find the words to describe the outstanding experience I had here. Rodney is to be commended at the highest honor for going above and beyond. He was upfront, honest, sympathetic to My situation so much I didn't even care about the length of time it took. The jeep was repaired successfully. This man does not receive as much recognition or credit as he deserves! I'm forever a fan! Thank you so much Rodney!

This is a great place. Being a woman sometimes I feel I may be taken advantage of. But Mr Rodney was so very helpful, honest and upfront. They fixed my transmission problem on my Jeep and it runs great. I had to take it back because I heard a sound and they put me right in to check it out. It was just just something that needed tightening. The guy was so sweet and apologized several times. That just doesn't happen at other places. If you are looking for a transmission place Global is it!!!! Thank you Global.

The quality and service at global automotive is above and beyond the call of duty. The guys at global are genuine and honest. They get the job done RIGHT the first time and they don't cut corners because they are well rounded. Had my transmission go out on my dodge b250 van a couple months back and the guys had it done in a matter of days. They even rebuilt my overdrive free of charge. I took my truck in with a fluid leak. Rodney and his team were able to find the leak, it was not an obvious problem, repaired it quickly and charged far less than I had expected.Excellent experience.

Had some bad experiences around this area and then I found Global. They are the best transmission shop around the Panhandle! Rodney and his staff run a stand up business. Not your run of the mill repair shop! They are timely & very knowledgeable. They will make sure it is done right, and keep you in the loop when things need repaired/replaced. One of the worst experiences I ve had with a mechanic. I had detailed my issue at length with them, they charged me $1300 for a poorly done reseal job. Didn t fix my problem at all. Tell me it ll be about $3-4k to get a new transmission.My new mechanic took one look, and discovered my transmission fluid was dark and burnt (global checked my fluid multiple times and said nothing). I also have an oil leak at my rear main seal. Which is clearly visible when you drop the transmission for a resealing, (which global did, and no mention of obvious leak).Changed my transmission fluid and it solved all my transmission problems.Stay clear and save your money.

Rodney and Adam are well versed in the transmission repair world. Rodney is the owner and he was always willing to answer questions and talked me through my Acura TL trans rebuild. He even offered to go above and beyond the stock internals and built it the way it should have been from new. It was like driving a new car when they finished it. Trustworthy. Quality work. Affordable. Honest. Rodney and the guys are professionals that will get the job done. They repaired my 2008 Dodge Avenger transmission and replaced my ECU. They were the third auto shop is took it to for repairs.They never gave up. I would definitely recommend this shop.

Global Transmissions is the most amazing honest kind hearted hard working men I have ever met! I brought my Tahoe to them w/ a salvaged transmission and they didn't have one problem putting it in for me. I am a waitress and a mom of three with very little money! Rodney kept his word and stuck with his estimate and was very very kind to me and my kids. We had been on foot for 4 long months trying to save the money to fix my truck. When I called Global I let him know up front the exact amount of money I had to fix the transmission and I couldn't afford any more. Rodney told me he would work with me and before I knew it he had my truck up and running! I love these guys for what they did and just how amazingly friendly these men were to me! Thank you just simply doesn't seem enough! I will recommend Global Transmissions to everyone I meet!!! Thank you again! God Bless!

Knowledgeable and professional for Infiniti transmission(s). Other local transmission shops in the area actually recommend these guys. Definitely a better option than going all the way to Mobile, Alabama or Tallahassee to Infiniti dealerships.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

If I could give more stars, I would! 5 isn't enough. I have a rodeo that needed the transmission rebuilt. I was referred to them from a friend. I called and they gave me a quote for the rebuild. They even asked me if I wanted to come watch the rebuild so I know everything that was going on during the process! They gave me an amazing quote, stuck to it and notified me of every step along the way! Fast service, amazing customer service.I dropped off my truck to have it looked at because I did not know what was going on. They looked at it, found the issue(truck was "thumping" while driving. Thought it was an axle but turns out it was a bad tire), told me what it was and gave my truck back to me free of charge. As long as I live in Ft Walton, they will be the only shop to work on my vehicles. If you need a place that will be upfront and honest about what is needed to fix your car, stop by Global Transmission you will be glad you did.

$3,000up front.1 year + in and out of the shop multiple times,simple up shift issue never resolved.Not sure they ever worked on the vehicle.Car would sit outside for month's at a time.Get a call that the repairs were complete,drive it app.15mi,same issue would return.Always a different diagnosis.Finally gave up.Absorbed the $3K loss + selling the vehicle at a scrap value loss.Thought he would have the decency to offer a pay back on the near $3K up front loss.It's now obvious why they charge up front.This shop is a total rip off as it pertains to Transmission repairs.

Happy to call this my mechanic shop. I give a lot of referrals to Rodney & Adam. If you want a good, honest, caring mechanic don't waste your time taking your car anywhere else. Take it to Global Transmission... A++Best shop Ive ever been to!!
