I called / used here to get an oil change. I informed the woman that I bought my car in Pensacola and asked her if I could get the complementary oil change in Fort Walton and she said yes, we can do that. I booked an appointment and when I got there, they told me it would be in an hour and a half. Absolutely insane for an oil change with an appointment. It did take an hour and a half and at the end of they billed me. I said, I m sorry I thought this was included in my warranty? And they told me it goes by the VIN number. How am I supposed to know that? what does that even mean? I don t work at an auto dealership. I m not saying it s their fault, but they could ve at least communicated that with me when I booked the appointment that the oil change would not be complementary. The next day, I got a call asking how the service was, and I told her everything that I just wrote here, and she said oh OK well we are going to send you a survey. Please give us the highest remarks ??? So obviously you don t care about the service I received or the miscommunication. What s the point of your job, calling and asking? All around strange and I wish I would ve just gone to the 5 minute oil change place.

As a DIY (do it yourself) guy who enjoys saving money and keeping my Honda Ridgeline in decent running condition, I get my OEM parts and Honda engine filters and fluids from the parts department. It has been my pleasure to get assistance from two gentlemen named Chandler and Tyler. If you have any questions or needs feel free to ask these guys for help.

I had the misfortune of having Gary Smith Honda repair my disabled 2022 Honda Accord under the Honda Roadside Assistance warranty. Apparently they haven't heard of fender guards, covering the seats, the floor, or engine parts as they work on your vehicle, they use your passenger seat for parts storage. They did more damage to my car than I have done to my previous 6 cars combined. Just a example of other shops that service cars, Walmart Auto Care Center treats a car you bring in for a oil change or a $26 tire rotation for life of your car ownership, by covering the seats, floor and steering wheel. Plus Walmart will have a person other than service tech move your vehicle as to avoid contaminating your car. If you care about your car, stay clear of "Gary Smith Honda".

Excellent dealership. We have purchased 3 vehicles from Gary Smith Honda so far and all of our experiences have been great. This last experience (this past weekend) was by far the best working with Robbie. I was able to talk to Robbie on the phone at 9 am to discuss the amenities and features I was looking for in a vehicle. This was very helpful because we were able to narrow it down before even heading to the dealership. Once we arrived we test drove the vehicle and decided that was the vehicle we wanted but in a different color and also the price point we needed. They did so with no haggling like at other dealerships and the experience was very pleasant. They then ordered a the vehicle we wanted from another dealership and had it the next business day. I did not realize how difficult it is to get vehicles right now because Honda has stopped production during the pandemic. They did not complain about it just made it happen from a dealership 360 miles away (closest dealership that had the vehicle we wanted). I learned of it moments before we drove away with our new vehicle. So I am grateful they were able to oblige I was a little disappointed in the mileage at first but they added a few complimentary features to make up for it. They went above and beyond to make sure my experience was awesome and the car was too. I enjoyed working with Robbie the sales person whose patience and knowledgeability was very helpful. I also enjoyed working with the new manager as well who gets things done quickly, accurately, and easily. Overall great experience and highly recommend them!

I bought my Honda Civic from this dealership and only them that I trust to do the work on my car even it was just an oil change. I trust that they'll use only high quality products and will get it done the right way plus they send coupons to me by email every month and it helped me to save some money like this last visit with them and I also can get my car back the same day which is convenient for me. The waiting area is comfortable and the restroom is very clean.

I recently took my Ridgeline in because the power door lock was not working properly. I had scheduled an appointment, but not told about the $160 diagnostic fee until I arrived at the service department. The part was ordered and on my second trip to the dealer, after a two hour wait, I was told they had ordered the wrong part! Once the correct part was installed, another component (the power window switch) was not functioning. The window was working fine prior to Gary Smith diagnosing the power door lock issue. Now another part had to be ordered! All total, it took five trips to Gary Smith to get the power door lock actuator and power window switch replaced and working properly. I was charged $129 in parts and $320 in labor. On top of that, they charged a $19.20 disposal fee on each of TWO invoices! After numerous calls to the service department manager, I was able to speak with Drew who stated that all this is "normal operating expenses." If your Honda needs service that must be done by a dealer, I would drive to Pensacola! Gary Smith overcharges and provides poor customer service!

Will not take my Honda anywhere else. Thomas helped me out with a part that was ordered for me and when I went to get it installed it was out of warranty. Thomas called Honda and they honored the warranty due to the part was ordered while still under warranty. He saved me hundreds of dollars. Thank you to a wonderful team.

I called and made an appointment for new tires. Was told no problem they have them in stock. Show up for my appointment and was told since I didn t prepay that they sold them to someone else and I could wait all day while they go get more expensive tires from someone else. No mention on the phone of prepaying and just got an oh well nothing we could do about it attitude from customer service. Knowing I had an appointment if they sold my tires to someone else the should have ordered more and had them in stock before I got there. Now I ll be taking my car elsewhere for tires and oil changes from here on out. Terrible way to treat customersService: Tires

Came to get a replacement key fob for our Honda Odyssey van.Price was high, of course.$152 + tax for the physical key fob.$160 + tax to actually program the key.But - then they added a $19.20 disposal fee as a service (not a tax). Then they charged taxes on that service as well.When I asked what the fee was for (nothing was disposed of), their answer was the government makes us charge that . Interesting, because no other local service shops do so.This is why I never take my Honda vehicles to the dealership (lesson learned after the last event 10-20 years ago )

They were very good... basic oil and air filter change.. quick, no issues. Why not 5 stars? Because I had to make the appointment 2 months ago. This was their FIRST opening..

Gary Smith Honda is the best! I will forever drive the further distance to go to this dealership. They replaced my airbag for a recall and treated me like I was just as valuable as those buying a new car. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back when I'm ready for an upgrade!

The car broke down 20 minutes after picking it up supposedly repaired, I called to notify them I'm on the side of the hwy, they simply hang up to not answer my next 5 to 6 calls.
