I had a great experience with Canvas Specialties. I needed a cover for our center console boat and they really helped guide me through the process. They choose a good, durable fabric, suggested a color that would not show dirt and would compliment our boat, then came out to measure for a custom fit. Adam, our technician, was prompt, polite, and professional and kept us informed every step of the way. They even finished the job on budget and ahead of schedule. The workmanship is top notch and the cover is very easy to install and remove. All in all I would highly recommend them for your marine canvas and upholstery needs. I'll certainly use them again!

We contracted Canvas Specialties for a three sided enclosure and gull wings on our center console boat. We are extremely happy with the results! The enclosure can be installed and removed very easily, and matches our boat's interior nicely. We can now comfortably fish year-round.Canvas Specialties completed the project for exactly the price we were quoted, and they even finished it faster than expected.

I had a a cover made for my T-Top. I couldn t be any more happier than I am now. I knew they had long lead times but they had managed to squeeze me in. I wouldn t hesitate to hire this company again and recommend them to anyone in the market for something custom and of quality. Thank a lot!

Absolute worst canvas shop around. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Brought a factory pontoon cover to have snaps installed. Most of the snaps were installed directly through the cover materiel not the reinforced band that ran around the entire edge of the cover. First good wind will rip the cover. That is why you install the snaps in the reinforcing band. Also did not install 10 snaps on the front. When I complained about the installation. Adam, the shop manager, stated there was no reinforcing band. I told him there most certainly was and it ran the entire edge of the cover. He told me it did not. Black piece of nylon webbing pretty easy to see on a red cover. His solution? "The cover was installed." I said I am complaining about the unsatisfactory installation of the snaps, not the cover. His response was "You have a crappy cover." and he told me to "Take your $hit somewhere else." He also threw in "You should have done it yourself" just for good measure. I then asked to see the owner. The owner, Tim, heard all of the previous conversation to include Adam's comment "I told you we shouldn't have done that job." My first complaint to Tim was how Adam handled the situation. I then reiterated my complaint about the poor job installing the snaps. Tim also said it was a crappy cover and they couldn't use the reinforced areas because they had to get the "snap line" correct. The two attached pictures show where they installed the snap. You have to lift the reinforced area out of the way to attach the snap. There would be no change in "snap line" if snap was correctly installed in the reinforced area. You can even see the black reinforcing material that I was told was not there. The owner's solution was he should have taken his manager's advice and not performed the job. I said then someone should have called me as it would not have been a problem and I could have taken it somewhere else. As I was leaving I told the owner his customer service was terrible and supported that by telling him there was no offer to resolve the situation. No offer to adjust snap placement or even install the 10 snaps not initially installed. Nothing whatsoever. Manager Adam did add his two cents again by saying "the cover was installed." And again I reiterated that it was a terrible installation job. Amazing how a terrible installation job is the customer's fault. I would use the Manager's own advice and take your business elsewhere.

The guys at Canvas Specialties did a great job building a custom Bimini/dodger for my 31 ft sailboat. They took extra care and time to get the job done right and the price was very fair. They even managed to get the job done 3 weeks ahead of schedule!

I have used Canvas specialties several times to get patches sewn on my leather vest. Tim and his crew are awesome and very professional. I highly recommend people check them out for all your needs

Had Tim make me a custom 1/2 cover for my motorcycle. He came up with a great idea on how to fit it to the bike using Velcro straps. Highly recommend them for your canvas needs.

In my opinion very poor fit and workmanship. Contacted business after delivery. They said they would evaluate product but never heard back from them. Work was performed when promised. Unhappy customer.

Absolutely fantastic. Anything with a boat is never cheap. So atleast with these guys you re getting a quality product for your money. Will do business with again.
