Everything about this Fort Walton Beach store is just awful. I ordered a key fob and paid for it up front but "somehow" that part "did not get ordered". They could not find the order but luckily, I had the receipt. When I checked on it again a week later, they still did not have any word about the key fob. I was told it might be on the truck, but they didn't know and would not know for at least two or three days as they unpacked. After nearly a month of waiting, the part finally came but the store did not have the correct equipment to code the key fob. Again - they ordered the cable to code the key, but it took two weeks. I was there on Friday morning to pick up the new key but was told to come back again on Monday because they were too busy to get to help me and they didn't have the help they needed. I came back on Monday morning and the cable they ordered didn't work and they did not have the correct equipment to cut the key. Through this almost month-long process, the staff was not knowledgeable and every time I went in - they gave excuses of not having the help, time or training they needed to do their job. I called numerous times to talk to a manager and left a message and asked to be called back. That call back never happened. Most of the time the phone would just ring and no one would pick up. This store might be alright if you just can walk in, and they have what you want. My experience is the staff is not helpful, tell you constantly that they are overworked. will not give you a call back, and either don't know how to do their job or don't have the equipment to do their job. I cannot imagine how this place can stay in business. I won't be going back. Oh yea - by the way - I went to A-Z Locks after i got my money back from Batteries Plus. A-Z had to check with their service technician to see if they had a key fob on the service truck. They called me back 5 minutes later and told me they would hold it for me. I went to their store and the A-Z technician had this all programmed, cut and the key verified on the vehicle in about 15 minutes. It cost just a little more, but I received great service from a knowledgeable, professional and helpful staff.

Brought my golf cart batteries to the store to get them checked to see if I need replacement. But this particular store has no ability to test batteries. Or at least they don t have the want to do it as they directed me to another store. This is hands down the worst run batteries plus I ve ever been too. The negative reviews are spot on

Buyer beware! This location is not customer focused and or friendly in the least! I had my car telling me my battery was bad, so I took it to a shop where they charged it overnight and it only showed 70% charged when taken off the charger. It was a high-end Duracell battery and I remembered purchasing the battery in 2021, 2 years ago. I took the battery to the Batteries Plus on Eglin Pkwy where I purchased it, and I was told they would have to charge it 12 hours before they could check it. I was told I would receive a call back...never happened. I stopped in the store on Sunday at 2:30 and the representative told me she took the battery in but the people working Friday or Saturday apparently didn't do their job and follow up on this battery, I said I didn't care whose job it was I've been without a battery for 3 days. She also mentioned the fully charged battery that I dropped off was now at 25% (clearly indicating a problem) I asked if she had a manager and she said NO she did not. Now the interesting part is I was told it had to be charged 12 hours before testing yet not 2 hours later she calls my number and tells me the battery is good. So, she didn't do the 12-hour charge, she didn't call back and make sure we were covered. So, on day 5 without a car battery, I tried to go on several websites to find out who runs this store and the only number I found when I called it was not in service. Take your business to a real store where they actually go out of their way to help you, and aren't afraid to post their phone numbers if you have a problem! One STAR is a gift for this operation. And if you think it won't happen to you, I'm a business owner with a business account, I can only image how they treat individuals!!!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Called about a screen replacement for my phone and the technician knew nothing about anything. Luckily temporary manager who was there from St. Augustine knew what I was asking for and said he'd order a screen from another store and it'd be in the following week. Called a few days later to confirm part was in and same technician was unaware of any parts coming in and said I'd have to wait until screen repair tech came in the following Monday. I asked if he worked there and if he did he should know. So he looked through boxes and confirmed a screen was there. I called today to verify and some lady named Wendy or something answered like she was answering her house phone, she didn't even listen to what I was asking and just told me to come in and she doesn't know and literally hung up on me mid sentence. Idk who owns this store but please fix this issue. I will not be going here for anything even if they have the part I need.

Don not buy anything from here. Just bought $400+ of batteries 3 months ago, brought them in because I left my VHF radio on and completely drained one of the batteries. I brought it in to have them charge it and they told me I need to go and do it myself, that it was too dead for them to charge

Well today I was in a pickle. Had grandbabies, needed a battery for power wheels. Called and ask young lady if I could send a picture of said battery. She said sure...and called me back. We'll before I knew itt, I was on my way, to get a battery..lot of places were closed today. She met me with a smile, and eagerness to help...before u knew it grandbabies were up and running...thank you for going above and beyond and a trip across town for nothing...really appreciated your kind and knowledgeable staff.Ms.polazzo

Extremely unfriendly and acted as it bothered them for someone to come in the store and interrupt their day. They couldn't find the battery I had already paid for, on line, but eventually came out with a "used looking" battery. No paperwork, not warranty and when asked about the expiration date for the battery, I was told it would never expire.

I was immediately greeted by Stephanie when I walked in. She gave me a quote on replacing the battery in my key fob without hesitation. Dene was waiting on a customer but I heard her take a phone call and her customer service was also impressive. I was in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes and left with such a good impression that I couldn't go without recognizing their great customer service.

store is trash. called and asked for a bulb was told that she's will go on the back and check. sat the phone down and talked to a customer for 15 mins, never went in back ro check or never picked the phone back up.

The girl that runs this store is amazing! We came in the replace a battery for speaker and the wire connector was corroded. She literally replaced the wire connector and got us up and running. She helped us get that fixed which wasn't even her job and took care of the battery. She went above and beyond. Kudos and thank you again!

Excellent service!!! Great prices for car keys with circuit cards. Saved over $100 and didn't have to spend hours at the dealer getting spare car keys made. Don't get taken by the car dealers. Get your replacement keys here. Extremely helpful staff and very knowledgeable!

Ordering online was fairly simple. Website had accurate info about what laptop I had. It was taking to long to receive an email confirming my order was ready so I called the store. The man I spoke to was very friendly and knew exactly why I was calling and even who I was. He had my order on the counter already and he processed it the system right then and was ready for me to pick it up. When I got there he brought my order out to me. Didn't even need to get out of my vehicle. Very friendly and fast service!

The two staff members at this location are great. They went above and beyond to help us. One was named Russ and I didn t get the other ones name. My battery had died. I am pulling an Airstream trailer and was very nervous about the situation. Those two staff members but me at ease and made me feel assured they would get me back up and moving. Very knowledgeable and so helpful.

Outstanding customer service. Got a new key fob and programming in there for less than half of what a dealership would have cost me. Have gone in there numerous times for other items and have never been disappointed. Also, if you're military, 10% discount. This particular batteries Plus bulbs is veteran owned, so support them as much as possible.

Because of the convenience of getting batteries, I thought everything was going to be over price. But their prices were actually better then Convenience stores, plus there were sales everywhere.Max was my customer representative, and he help safe even more $ by telling me about a better deal during my check out!

I left waiting 20mins on a slightly gray haired guy that was on the phone like a high school girl. After 15mins I asked if he was the only one here & rudely he said "NO! I'll be there in a second!" Surprisingly I waited 5 more minutes & left. Didn't even ask what I was there for An elderly couple walked in as soon as I was leaving & he hung up too quickly and kindly greeted them It was a crazy experience so I had to share this & no ill never go back there.

I had already been to the cell phone store in hopes of getting my husband's phone fixed. Turned out it was just a battery issue, but they didn't have one for me. At 7:50pm, where was I going to find a phone battery?! The sales clerk suggested your store. However, it was across town and your store closes at 8pm. I called anyway on the outside chance someone was still there. Max answered the phone and kindly told me he would wait for me to get there. Upon arrival, he even had what I needed waiting on me .Based on recent experiences, this level of customer service is rare in this day and time. Please acknowledge Max for his superior service and for being an ambassador for your company. Because of him, you have a new and loyal customer. Thank you for employing good people like Max! Visiting from out of town and when starting the car after an early dinner the headlights dimmed. I knew my truck would not start the following morning. After a quick google search I realized they were 1/2 a mile from my hotel. Chad and his manager told me to come. Chad found the right one, rang up my sale, and installed the battery and in less than 30 minutes I was back on my way, thank you Chad (and your manager) for taking great care of me! Chad even tested the starter, battery and alternator to make sure all were good!

three weeks ago I dropped off my phone for a battery repair. called after 4 days and was told there was an issue with the battery. called a week after that and was told there was now a screen issue and manager will call me back. waited another week and no call so i called again and was told phone was shipped to a third party for repairs. now here it is, 23 days after I dropped off the phone and nothing! absolutely unprofessional! I have been the one to make all contact and I keep getting the run around.

Got my phone screen repair here! Very nice employees/customer service. Had my screen repaired in a short amount of time & everything is working perfectly. I have had previous issues with other companies and get nervous repairing my phone screen. Will 100% come back if I need another replacement! Great experience, definitely recommend. I appreciate the help!!

I am very disappointed with the service and the way I was treated the last time I went to batteries+bulbs the staff member was rude and tried to tell me that it was my fault that 2 Duracell deep cycle agm marine and rv batteries that I was sold and that were also still under warranty might I add were sucking in from the sides and and wouldn t wa hold a charge more than 60% and they still refused to resolve the issue or even swap the batteries.so I got sent home with the same bad batteries with my reciept in hand! Needless to say I will not be recommending or shopping there again!

I was working out of town and wanted to go to a battery store that I had used in the past that had very good prices. My GPS wanted to take me to this location. After looking at the map it was less than 1/2 mile from where I was working and decided to give it a try. The sales people were very friendly and helpful and after answering some questions, he set me up with a commercial account and got some some outstanding prices. I brought the old batteries back to them for recycling as well. I quickly let our other 4 technicians know about this new option for us. We will definitely be using Batteries + Bulbs again in the future.
