Prior to bringing my vehicle into Dyer Chevrolet Service Department for both a battery charging issue and my check engine light that recently appeared, I had Auto Zone scan the code and I took the picture (attached) from Auto Zone's scan tool showing the P0446 code. To fix both issues Dyer charged me $1,615.53 ($375.55 for the battery charging issue and $1,239.98 for the other). After paying Dyer and driving off their lot, the check engine light immediately reappeared. So, I called Dyer to have them take another look at my car and they said they "would try to make it right". They told me the following day that it would cost another roughly $700 to fix the check engine light, which they stated was being caused by the code...P0446. When I objected that the work for that issue should have been fixed, they stated that the $1,200 worth of work was for other problems , even though my receipt from Dyer states that the work was for the check engine light. This transaction has caused me to lose my trust for Dyer and I do not recommend anyone else to do business with them after experiencing what I did.

I went in on a Thursday and I will say that Cleve was very nice and helpful and encouraged me to get a car that I wanted. Plus he was very nice and patient with me since it was my first time getting a car from there:)

Sadly, I have no choice but to leave a bad review. For some context, my husband and I have bought our 2 most recent vehicles from here. We only have them serviced here including all oil changes. I have had to bring my vehicle here recently for a variety of reasons over the past 6mths. Every time I schedule an appt, the service advisors (who are very helpful) give me a heads up that it's going to be a least a few hours to half a day. She also advised that when you schedule a appt is actually on to see the advisor, it is not for a technician to look at your car. They will get to the car when they can. Now the reasons for my appts run from an oil change to fixing my center console (for the 2nd time) to a check engine light and tire sensors. The last time I brought my vehicle in, it had already been diagnosed with an issue and the parts were in. It took them almost 5 hours to put the part in. I told the service advisor that I had to have my vehicle back by noon and didn't get it back until almost 1pm. Time before that was to diagnose the problem and that took even longer, at almost a full day. Today I was told it would take again a couple of hours or longer, and would I like to stay or they can drop me off. My car is my office, I need my car for my full time job! I called and left a message for the service manager and he had the "experience" rep call me. I spoke with representative to let them know the issues, and it fell on deaf ears. I perceived the interaction as checking a box, and not actively listening. She was listening to respond with excuses or to place blame on me, not to hear what I was actually saying. I asked the service advisor for a better time to bring my car in and was told that this is just how it is, there are no better days. I should expect it to take a minimum of a couple hours. I was also told that this is unlikely to change, because this is just the process. Well, the process doesn't change unless people are willing to change it and it doesn't sound like Dyer is willing to change it! Mediocrity doesn't just happen, it is chosen over time. Dyer seems to be determined be mediocre.

Experience the dyer difference they were paid over 9 thousand dollars I have been having the same unresolved issue 4 transmission later and Dyers solution after not properly repairing my vehicle is to tell me I am not longer welcomed. I guess they took enough money from me. The only thing I've done wrong was purchase a Chevy Silverado Jonathan, Kelly and Todd are all useless.

I went there to have a key made for my truck and the staff at the parts counter was outstanding. They were not only helpful but they were polite and they got me in and out of there and under 20 minutes. Had to cut the key from the van as well so it wasn't just a duplicate. The lady that works in the parts counter there's only one, I just don't remember her name, was likewise very knowledgeable and very kind. I was sitting outside and she actually brought my key to me and said have a good day and that was it it was very nice.

Well this is a new revision and it turns out with five stars, I spoke with Fred Ritter and he helped me find the vehicle I wanted and I purchased it and now I own a beautiful 2022 Chevrolet 1500 LTZ four-wheel drive truck and it has all the bells and whistles LOL anyways it was pretty efficient and didn't take too long and I'm happy with the transaction and I'm happy with the purchase and I'm very happy with the service department as well
