Doug is not only a first rate mechanic he is also an excellent fabricator. He not only keeps my equipment in top condition but when I needed the roof on my truck repaired he came up with the perfect solution. You will not find a man more dedicated to his customers than Doug.

This place is the best. Wish I cold give them more than five stars. They helped me more than I can ever repay. Got me away from a bike shop that was ripping me off. Doug Sr. got my scooter back on the road and running better than it has since I purchased it. They will get all my business from now on. Doug is the most genuine and professional businessman you'll ever cover across. I'm always messing something up on my mower. Doug has always been fair and honest. No matter what the issue was Doug didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. If I could give 100 stars I would. I recommend his services anytime! Doug thank you for being a great person to do business with!

What a pleasure to find DLC Repair & Service! Douglas really knows his stuff. Repaired my pressure washer in a day, charged me minimal for what he did, and have me quite a few suggestions and tips on maintenance of the machine. It's rare to find someone so competent in what he does, and he loves doing it! I'd recommend him to anyone needing small engine repairs.

I found DLC Mobile repair while doing a search for small engine repair. They came to the top of the list. I read the reviews and decided to give them a try. I took my generator down and met Douglas Sr and Douglas Jr. I showed Sr the problem and right away he knew what the issue was. He said to give him 2 days and he would call me. Don't worry about his location and what the outside looks like. When he opened the garage the shop is well organized. Doug called me 2 days later as promised and gave me the rundown on the fix and price. Price was really reasonable and was the price he quoted to fix the issue. I'm so happy I took my generator in. This past week Hurricane Dorian came in and I had the peace of mind knowing the generator was going to work. I started it several times to test it out just in case I needed to use it. Ran like a champ every time. Thanks Douglas Sr/Jr for the awesome service!! You will not be disappointed in working with these guys. I can tell they both take fixing things seriously.

Excellent service and repair. Doug was very thorough, professional, reasonably priced and very much interested in making sure I was happy with the service I received. I am very picky about how my yard looks. Being a female, I have experienced a number of businesses who have attempted to do more repair than necessary on my riding mower. It was a true pleasure to deal with Doug and his honesty, time and patience to explain things and ensuring I felt comfortable with the repairs being done. I have returned to have the blades replaced, which was cheaper and better quality than me buying the blades! Would definitely recommend him and I will return to DLC for any future repairs.

Cannot say enough about my positive experience with Doug Sr. He was so informative and helpful and went way above and beyond to repair my Toro mower. Such a hard working, dedicated, honest, and straightforward person and mechanic.I highly recommend DLC and wish I could give more than 5 stars.So much gratitude to Doug Sr... I am a customer for life!

Doug was great! Honest, knowledgeable and trustworthy. He took care of my pressure washer and had it up and running better than ever. Doug kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. I cannot recommend DLC enough! DLC blows away any small engine repair competitor on the treasure coast!

DLC Small engine repair diagnosed the problem, fixes the problem and returned my lawnmower back to me in 24 hours. Doug also went so far as to physically mow with my mower to ensure everything was in good working order! The total bill was also a pleasant surprise being much less than I expected because some things I thought may have been an issue, upon examination, was not. An honest shop that has won another customer!

Most excellent. I'm a constant customer. Owner Doug is super nice, very honest and a great guy. When I need work done I just drop it off without questions. If it's expensive, he calls and gives me my options. I trust him and he's never disappointed.

I called DLC Small Engine Repair shop after another shop told me it would take 4 weeks to look at my generator. I dropped it off to Doug at his home that same day.The very next day, Doug called me and said he was finished with my machine. The generator was running, complete tune up and even cleaned. His price was very reasonable. He told me he has been in business for 30 years. I would totally recommend DLC for any small engine repair.

Doug Sr. is great!!! and very trustworthy. I also really like how he educates you on how your mower engine works and what kind of specific gasoline to use on it. He really does care about the customer more than the big bucks.

I Googled small engine repair and DLC was at the top. This shop, and the owner and staff is top rated in my book. I received quality customer service on every level that I was so moved by the experience it brought tears to my eyes. Douglas Sears is so genuine, informative and honest. It's hard these days to fine business owners with that quality and not trying to fill their pockets. God bless Douglas Sears and all that's connected to him. He's my hero!

My name is Richard Sanborn and I took My 25 year old snapper riding mower to Doug to see if it had finally ended its life. Not so. Doug took a look at it and found it was just a belt had slipped. Doing had it fixed in 5 minutes and gave me good advice.snd the best part 'no charge'. I will be bringing it in soon for complete service. DLC is a company that a person should definitely give business to.

Top service shop, Doug Sr guards his reputation because word of mouth brings the shop a lot business. On July 29th Doug Sr fixed my chainsaw that other shops refused to work on. Took part off a old chainsaw at no charge to me , and called it his good deed for the day. DLC is my go to shop from now on.

My husband works very hard for his customers. At home, after working in the Florida heat, hes on the computer late in the evening either finding parts, researching model specs and diagrams for proper diagnosis or taking the time to dialog his invoices so the customer clearly understands what they paid for. (nothing to hide) Looking at the other reviews, I can see his hard work is paying off. Its obvious, He takes pride in what he does. Thank you Doug for doing such a great job for them! I am very proud of you! ;-)

I found this shop by doing a search in the area. I couldn't be happier with the service I received. The prices are beyond fair for the quality of work performed. When you go to DLC you will find a man who takes more pride in his work than the money out of your pocket. What you wont find is a fancy building with big overhead costs. You find a shop in an industrial area where good solid work is performed. I highly recommend Douglas for any and all small engine repair. If its fixable he will go out of his way to save it. If not he wont take your money and put a bandaid on something knowing you will end up back . If I could give 10 stars to this shop I would.

Best small engine repair in South Florida. Incredible detail oriented. I got overconfident in installing a new carburetor on my riding mower. Couldn't get it to run right. Brought it here and in a couple days, had a perfect running mower. Should have saved myself some time and came here to begin with. Very educational in explaining future maintenance /repairs. Even pressure washed and cleaned the mower before pickup. Will be back at the end of season for those new blades. Thanks again!

I took my emergency genny here after a bad experience with another business. It's a father and son co. who were very professional and welcoming. He was honest with his troubleshooting and its very fair with his prices. I drove 20 minutes longer out of my way to use their services. Did not regret it. The first repair shop tried charging me $200 for replacing a carb on the generator that has 28 hrs. $80 labor charge included in that price. Just because someone takes wants to pay for a repair, doesn't mean they're not mechanically inclined. I saw through that and refused to pay for the job they did but didn't tell me about until they were done. So I brought it to DLC. Doug just cleaned up the "old" carb and it started right up as it should. Thnx gentlemen. Will recommend this shop to anyone that asks.

Quick Reliable service. Dropped off JD Rider. He went thru wiring and found a short. Charged a fair price, and mower was ready with limited wait time. Well rounded, professional service. I DO RECOMMEND HIS SERVICE. QUALITY WORK DOES NOT COST,,, IT PAYS

The Dougs came to my house, picked up my generator, got it running, serviced it and delivered it back in the same day! At a fair price! What more can I say?! I've got DLC on speed dial. Thanks Guys!

WOW. Just picked up not only my generator from these guys, but a detailed education. As an IT Consultant, I know that there are two kinds of highly skilled people: ones that keep their customers in the dark about what they do and keep milking 'em, and ones who are so good at what they do that they're not afraid of being honest. I'm the latter, and these guys are too. Just glad places like DLC still exist.

I literally drive by three other small engine shops to go to Douglas s. He is extremely professional and reasonably priced. Well worth the drive across town for the outstanding service.
