The staff is great. The service manager, Chris, is the best I have worked with. Give him a raise! Everyone else was very helpful and knowledgeable. Great facility.

It's been a pleasure for me to work alone with Lenny Martin the Parts Sales Manager, into giving resolution to my customer's part needs for a some years ago. He has shown the great customer service, support and attention to detail that my business requires all the time. He is great once it comes to make the need taken care of and always is willing to find the best option available t. I hope I can continue working with him and I really appreciate his support. Josh and his service team got my problem fixed and my truck back on the road the same day! Great job by all involved10/27/2022- I could not write another review which is why I m adding an update to this one. I recently brought my truck into the dealership again for a DEF issue. Chris and his team knocked it out of the park. We had to wait on parts, which is really nobody s fault these days but once the parts came in the truck was fixed, it was fixed right the first time, and within the first two days of having it back we were able to put over 600 miles on it with no issues. Highly recommend the service department to help you with all of your Freightliner needs.

After another shop could not fix my coach. I took it to this location. Keith Chris, and Don diagnosed the problem In less than 24 hours and fixed, my coach. I highly recommend these guys. Thanks again and keep up the good customer service.

Repairs completed within the estimated price... interior protected from grease/oil...I have the same (complaint) with most garages tho...dont let the driver/owner/operator go a day without hearing from you..(especially if they are stuck in a hotel...)..other then that...definitely Recommend..

The folks in parts are great, that's why I give the 3 stars but service folks are terrible, 2 years ago I took a 2012 cascadia there for DEF issue, they charged me $3800.00I picke the truck take trip by the time I got to Atlanta, GA I had the same issue with the truck, I called them they said take it to any freightliner we will guarantee our work and I did take it to a freightliner dealer after the truck was fix they request the INVOICE which I sent to them and they never responded my email nor call.

When I contacted Keith regarding our Motorhome issue, he realized we live full time in our Coach and scheduled us for Tuesday morning. Keith and Chris went beyond the bottom line for our Motorhome repair, including overnighting the switch, to get us back on the road! Their attention to detail and customer service is greatly appreciated!

Extraordinary service!!! I called on Monday regarding an RV recall. Mike was able to set me an appointment for Thursday. I called on Wednesday and left a message to see if they had any cancelled appointments, to hopefully fit me in while I was en route to the RV park. Mike called me back right away.Once I arrived on Thursday, the nice lady in the service office provided clear instructions for where to take the RV and check in with Mike. Mike thoroughly explained the recall issue to me and was kind enough to ensure I was taken care of prior to the massive rainfall that occured about 20 mins after my departure. I did not catch the names of the other two friendly guys that provided assistance, but I am very grateful for the exceptional customer service I received at Southport Truck Group. Thank you so much.

Do not use this company; use any of the many other dealerships and service centers in the area. This company engages in egregiously dishonest practices, including bait and switch, as well as price gouging. One year, I booked service with Southport and was relatively satisfied. However, the following year I booked again and confirmed three times the service I wanted, but Service on Site showed up, did only a small fraction of what I had confirmed and requested, took my entire deposit of $1,500 for little more than an oil change, then refused to remedy the problem. Southport advised me that to fix its screw up, it would charge me almost $4,000 additional for what Freightliner advised should have been a quarter of that. For example, Southport refused to fix the problem unless I paid $350 for a cabin air filter, including $250 in labor, $600 for an engine air filter, and hundreds of dollars in administrative fees and dozens of extra hours of labor that weren t remotely necessary. Southport also claimed I needed services which Freightliner advised that I most definitely did not. Furthermore, the technician Service on Site sent was extraordinarily unprofessional. He was there less than a third of the hours he claimed in labor, spent the entire time talking about personal relationship problems, asked for a beer, then sat down on a patio chair and talked the rest of the time instead of performing the service that was requested. Needless to say, the Florida Attorney General was notified reference the price gouging and dishonest practices, as was Freightliner. Southport and Service on Site are absolutely not worth patronizing.

Outstanding group of people...left Tennessee on the 26th and encountered a check engine light on my motorhome. Stopped in Macon GA and had it checked. DEF heater code. They said 2 days to fix. Called southport and spoke to Chris in service. Set up my appointment for Friday morning. Got me in at 8am and was gone by 10:30. Found a corroded relay. We were treated great by the entire staff...highly recommend these guys.

This place is awesome. The people are very nice and very patient. I dropped my truck off on Monday and Tuesday it was out of the shop and fixed. Took it in for leaking coolant lines for the air compressor and some codes. Thank you Jamie and the techs for a quick turnaround.

We bring a truck that wouldn't start with the key. After spending over $6,000, we have to tow truck another shop that charges us $2350, and the truck is fixedI wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Service On-Site tech Nick Neubacher made the call to service us and he was great. Very knowledgeable, the absolute professional and a very personable individual. He completed a timely and thorough diagnosis and got our issue repaired. Extremely pleased with him and the results of his visit. Also learned that Nick has served our country as a Marine. Thanks Nick for your service!

Your team that I worked with in service was extremely accommodating. I had made my appointment in late April but I apparently put the wrong date in my calendar. When I called on 5/25 to confirm my appointment for the next day I found that I was suppose to be there on the 25th. Chris was very helpful and advised that if we could get our RV there on the 25th (which I planned to) that they would get it taken care of on the 26th and 27th. When I called on the 27th to get a time for pick-up the young lady that helped me was very understanding and patent. She went out to talk to the technician to get a time. She told me that all the maintenance work had been completed and they were getting ready to begin work on the recall (I had no idea my engine had an active recall) and it was rather involved and would not be finished until Tuesday. When I checked in with Chris on the 25th I neglected to inform him that my wife and I live in our RV my mistake number two! Your employee patently put me on hold and went back out to discuss this new information with the technician. To keep from making this too long my wife and I picked up the RV Friday afternoon. Made an appointment on 6/21 to get the recall work completed. my only regret is that I do not remember the name of the employee that was so patient and helpful. I would call to find out but it is Saturday.

Nick can to our house and did our recall and fixed our dash AC issue in our pusher. He was on time, polite, and did a great job fixing our issue. Thank you Nick and South Port!! 5 stars all around

The service was thorough and complete plus extra work was suggested and we accepted. No "upselling", just needed work. I did find this Freightliner place on the pricey side but we needed the work done so that is that. I went in thinking $500-1,000 and came out with a $2,500 bill !! Still, everyone was professional and helpful.

Well I only dropped a vehicle off but the man behind the counter in service was very professional. Really nice guy and helpful, watched him helping the customers ahead of me. Nice looking dealership. I was very impressed with the amount of room they had for over the road drivers. Nice drivers lounge.

In the past I had a less than satisfactory experience with this dealership. I almost didn t call them back. I was just going somewhere else. I decided that I would call them and explain my trucks issue and am I ever glad Idid. The service manager is new and the entire attitude was different. Everyone in the service department was helpful and went way beyond what was necessary. I will not hesitate to take my truck back here. Great service, Great attitude, and great people.

Paul got us in a timely manner delivered the service promised. We had a small follow up issue and Paul/ sent Dylan out within an hour of the call. Everyone I talked to was very kind and knowledgeable. At this point I have to say if you have a Freightliner and need service in the Fort Myers call them! I would recommend Dylan as the technician to work with any time. He is great at communication and knows what he is doing.

Took our rv in for an estimate to repair or replace what we thought was a bad fuel pump. They charged $2265.00 for an estimate to repair or replace everything imaginable. We had no actual repairs done. Our estimate was over 15k on a 1998 rv. We took our broken rv home

I don't even know if one star is appropriate, as I have not gotten my truck back yet. I took it in 11 days ago, to diagnose a check engine light. After having the truck for 6 days, and no call,i called them. I was told they had just started on it. I called again at 3:30, and was told they were writing my quote, and would call me right back. Again, no call. I called back at 5:30 and imagine that, closed. I left as voicemail and still didn't get a call back. I waited until 11am the filing day to call back. This time I spoke with a woman, who apologized and said she would call back. She did after about an hour (guessing she wrote it up, like they were supposedly doing the day before). Now beverage of the amount, I had to get approval, so it wasn't until the next morning, 9am that I called and said go ahead. I was told one part had to be ordered, and would be there next day. (They had it in Tampa). Now 4 days later, and no calls, I call them. Guess what.... Waiting in parts. But they couldn't tell me what they were waiting on, or why they can't communicate. I just moved here. This shop is 30 miles from my house. It's a shame I won't be able to use them again.

We experienced a problem with our motorhome and FM Freightliner was able to get us in the next day. They did a really nice job with the repair, they were careful to protect the inside of the coach from dirt and then the technician took a test drive with us to ensure everything was fixed properly. We were very pleased with our service and would return.

They absolutely need to start double checking the work they do to ensure the work is done properly and things are working right before it's leaving the shop only to be returned again and again. Test drivers should not be allowed to plug their phones into the radio to listen to music while their supposed to be listening to for major problem !!

Josh and Jaime got us in and out quickly despite having a full house. This was very important to us because we live in our RV and are headed to AZ for 4 months.The tech was also pleasant and helpful.If you need Freightliner service and you are in the Ft Myers area, you will be happy to chose Southport Truck group!
