Communication was excellent. Project took longer than expected, but not surprised due to busy snowbird season. Shellie was excellent in keeping me informed of progress. Definitely will have them do work on my rig again. Repairs seem to be complete and thorough

This company came out for repairs on a fifth wheel I had purchased. It was about the second week in July 2023. I paid for that first visit along with 1500$ for pasts and services. They NEVER came back. I have called probably 50 times, they offered 600$. For what? Give me my dam money. I am going to small claims court. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY.

RV Doctor has been great to work with storing our 36 motor home in a climate controlled facility with 50 amp service. They accommodate request to pick up the rig and always have it ready to go on time. The staff, especially Rachel and Shelly are very friendly and helpful.

This company is GREAT. We have been dealing with them for about 10 years now. The only time anyone else works on our coach is if they are too busy. Would not be afraid to send them to work on any of our friends coach's. Shellie, Dan Racheal and "Ollieman" are GREAT people to deal with. God Bless Them...

From OUR EXPERIENCE .read the reviews on the Better Business Bureau. There seems to be a recurring theme of taking money (insurance or otherwise) and failing to fulfill the responsibility of the repairs promised. We were hit up for $13,800.00 + of insurance money with NO FORWARD PROCESS over 3.5 months. I hope the insurance company got their money back as we went elsewhere with complete confidence. If you need more info, message me I ll share 22 pages of texts and lies shared with us over 9 months! This is an addition to the original post, after the reply from the vendor. I am glad to hear the insurance company received the refund. As for the 'timeline of materials' from the manufacturer there is 'some' truth to that statement. Slide walls needed to be priced, ordered and 'signed off on' before the manufacturer will put into production the order to build. We found after 2.5 months that no signed order was ever sent. And yes, the manufacturer did eventually receive a signed order (after much bantering back and forth between the Vendor (RV Doc.) and the owners of the fifth wheel. The parts from the manufacturer were supposedly received the month AFTER we left Florida! The other miscellaneous "parts" were NEVER ORDERED. That included slide windows, Awning Arms and an entrance door.We ordered those parts on our own, at our cost, after unsuccessfully waiting for the RV Doc to receive and install said parts. It only took 2 weeks to get the parts to us in PA from a 'verified' Grand Design Vendor. It took me 3 hours to install a door, and awning arm.Remember, I have 21 pages of texts, time and date stamps to back up my complaint. Now that the insurance company has received the 'refund' I can say from experience and the massive amount of documentation, in conjunction with the manufacturer GRAND DESIGN over this fiasco - my experiences still say "do your research and keep accurate records."Thank you

They don't show up for THEIR scheduled appointments after making you wait 17 days. They will try to make you wait another 13 days to come. They want 760.00 ish dollars to fix a dryer belt. Charge you 87.00 for parts. Tell you they shipped it but don't so I could fix the dryer. Thank you for saving me money by not showing up. Thank you credit card company for going after them as they will lie and not ship the part. Rv Doctor should be call rv ripoffs.REPLY TO your lies, you schedule jan 25th with us from 11 am till 4 pm and did not show and wasted our day. And yes you returned the part after I had to call my credit card company that you claimed you shipped and lied that you did.not ship. No doubtthat you were going to try and keep the monies . You have no respect for your customers.

Furnace not working. After a few screening questions, the problem was isolated to a configuration problem from a prior A/C Unit replacement. Repair completed-works fine.

While on vacation, we experienced multiple tire failures on our fifth wheel toy hauler. We called RV doctor after closer tire retailers were uninterested in helping or could not get the proper load rated tires we needed. Shellie at RV Doctor was amazing! She asked questions about our situation and was able to provide excellent advice for replacement tires. She ordered the chosen tires and scheduled our appointment for our convenience. The service was professional, fast and easy. We would recommend RV Doctor without reservation!Derek and Debbie HolmesService: Tires

We used RV DR about 15 years while owning an RV and were very happy with the service. After the hurricane we purchased another RV up north to stay in while remodeling our home. We then found our Everchill refrigerator was not working. They came out in November and said issues with that model and would contact company to get it replaced w through warranty. We never heard back so I called them numerous times and was told waiting on warranty company. I would leave messages and never return calls, or would talk to Shelly or Rachel and they said would call back but would not. Continued calling through December then holidays was the issue. Finally in January I was told that I had to pay labor but fridge will be under warranty. I again have been calling and am told on order, no updates at all. So talked to Rachel Monday and assured me she would call back next day and once again no call. I requested the factory phone number but said had to see what number to give me can t give me their contact. Not sure what is going on or if even ordered. I own a company also and this type service is unacceptable. I am sorry to post here but in reading the post it appears maybe the owner cares just not the staff so hoping maybe can get results.

My experience with this company has been a nightmare. I stored a golf cart with them from May - October 2022. After hurricane Ian I decided to sell my golf cart since we were not going to be wintering in Florida. I contacted RV Doctor and asked if they could help me with the sell since I was in Indiana. They offered to let my buyer come and see the cart and arranged for him to pick it up. I asked if they could just mail me the check. They told me that they do this all of the time with other customers who sell their RV's while out of state and the best way is for my buyer to write out a check to RV Doctor and RV Doctor would then deposit the funds into my bank account if I gave them my banking information. I unfortunately agreed to do that. I sold my golf cart to an individual for $3250.00 on Oct 31st. He wrote a check to RV Doctor for that amount and that check was deposited and cleared. From that time until today I have only received $2500.00 from RV Doctor. It took several calls and emails from me to get them to finally pay me something. They made deposits of $1000.00 on 11/23 and another $1000.00 on 11/25 with a final deposit of only $500.00 on 12/1. They told me they were depositing $1250.00 to make as final payment. My account received only a deposit of $500.00. I filed a BBB complaint and also with the Florida Attorney General. RV Doctor told Florida Attorney General that they deposited $1250.00 and provided a document showing $1250.00 left their account, but I only received $500.00 in my account. I feel they have stolen $750.00 from me. I really don't have enough room in this review to tell of all of the misleadings and dishonesty with this company. I would avoid them. I wrote a negative review about this company a couple of months ago and took it down because they asked me to remove my review before paying me. Below is the email communication I had with themFYI. I have deleted my reviews of RV Doctor on Google.Dec 15, 2022, 7:30 am(RV) What about the BBB the State of Florida Complaints ??Dec 15, 2022, 8:39 amAre you paying the balance due? That would resolve those complaints.Dec 15, 2022, 8:53 am(RV)Yes but you have to remove them like you stated or what you texted over was not trueDec 15, 2022, 9:01 amWhat are you talking about that s not true? And are you saying you re not going to pay me unless I remove my Better Business Bureau complaint and the one from the Florida Attorney General? They have not communicated with me since Dec 15th. You can expect that they will respond to this review and say that I am not telling the truth. I am only stating the facts.2/28/23 No response from company after more attempts to contact.3/13/23 No response. Still waiting for a call or email to let me know when they are going to pay me the money they owe me.4/19/23 Still no response at all. I have emailed them and voicemail. The Better Business Bureau complaint I filed has also had no response. I provided them BBB with my bank statement showing that only $500 was deposited to my account instead of $1250. They tried to get RV Doctor to respond and they are refusing.6/29/23 Still no response. I think they know there is not much the BBB or FL State Attorney can do to them. I filed with both and got no help. Hopefully some day they will feel ashamed for the way they handled this customer and many others based on the reviews.10/15/23 still no response and no concern over the fact that they took $750 from me. I ll use the word steal. That s what they did. Dishonesty at highest level.

We have had a positive experience with RV doctor. We have an extended warranty. Our RV AC went out. RV doctor came out within a day of our call, assessed the situation communicated clearly and timely between us and the warranty service. We knew what our our of pocket was and we received updates regularly. It took 10 days to get the new unit installed due to the warranty company not RV doctor. Luckily it was not the middle of summer and there was a unit available and not on back order. We have also contracted with them to pickup our RV in case of a hurricane. Have not had to use this service fortunately so I can't review how that process works yet.Service: Air conditioning

It took seven months for them to do a diagnostic on my RV. I talked to the owner Dan . He apologized for the delay. He said he had been sick , lost staff , the pandemic blues etc . I also dealt with his new service manager Shellie . Poor or no communication for months. I made multiple calls and visited the facility at least five times. My bad for having faith in this business. I don t think he is dishonest. Just unable to deal with the new reality of his business. They made promises they could not fulfill . When I dealt with Shellie communication improved . The service did not. This is not a dependable business. It s sad that a small business I wanted to support treats customers this way. The facility is big it s new , it s clean . So I stored my RV there for seven months for 160 .00$Based on my experience I could not recommend this facility to anyone.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

We had issues with our Norcold refrigerator. Told the RV Doctor in Ft Myers exactly the problem when scheduling. Paid their fees up front as required. First time out they confirmed what we told them. That was fine. They would check with Norcold and advise. Contacted us told us they could correct it. Came out and did some service work. It did not correct it. Left the area and had it repaired back home. Meanwhile, The RV Doctor was suppose to reimburse us for the warranty work that was covered, but 15 months later and a ton of calls and we're still no where. I would not use this company for any repair and especially if it involves anything under warranty. Once they get your email/cell phone number, you can expect a bunch of unsolicited text and emails.

ZERO STARS | STAY AWAY | SAVE YOUR MONEY & SANITY**Consumers, PLEASE heed the negative reviews that have been left about this company. Please read the Google reviews AND those left on the Better Business Bureau's site. Also note (the grammatically incorrect) replies representatives from RV Doctor submit in an attempt to deflect from their deplorable business ethic and excuse their inability to hold themselves to high standards of quality.**My husband and I took our RV to this company on December 12, 2022. At that time, we made it clear that we needed to have it back by January 19, 2023. The company agreed that repairs would be done and the RV would be returned by that date. I am submitting this review on February 16, 2023--the day that we retrieved our RV after FINALLY accepting that no work would be done on it.For the entirety of the time that our motorhome was at RV Doctor, we were given the runaround and told lies about the status of ordering parts and communicating with our extended warranty companies. RV Doctor constantly issued excuses about why they were not making progress on repairing our RV or communicating with us about what was going on. They repeatedly refused to return calls and emails, even after promising that they would get back in touch. They consistently deflected responsibility by blaming supply-chain issues and worker shortages at parts companies and extended warranty companies (calls we made to the companies uncovered that these were untruths). We also spoke with the owner, which made it clear why things are the way they are: It's a top-down issue. On top of all of this, our RV's windshield sustained damage while it was on RV Doctor's premises--something we were told as an aside ("Oh yeah, by the way, your windshield is about to fall in") during one of the phone calls we made to inquire about the status of repairs. Even though a technician said it was a simple fix using adhesive, that issue wasn't addressed either. RV Doctor then added the cost of a new windshield (plus labor) to the cost estimate. After two months, we'd finally had enough and went to get our RV. At first, they first tried to refuse to get it, citing that the only technician authorized to move vehicles was away from the building. Thankfully, as we were waiting in the parking lot, someone drove our RV up.Since getting our RV back, we've discovered other things that were not problems when we entrusted it to RV Doctor's "care"--namely spiders and ants and a retractable front step that is no longer working. The one bright spot in this whole ordeal is that we met Rachael who is one of the kindest, friendliest people we have ever encountered. She is truly making the best of what must be a HORRIBLE work environment.I know that this review is extremely long, but I'm hoping that I can prevent other individuals from encountering the distressing issues my husband and I have endured because of this company's irresponsible, unprofessional business practices that are devoid of integrity and customer service.Too long, didn't read?: DO NOT TAKE YOUR RV TO THIS COMPANY; YOU WILL REGRET IT!

DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY, YOU MIGHT BE SORRY YOU DID. We had them come out and look at our super slide...said that they had to come back out and jack it up and bring Xtra men to fix it. We scheduled with them 2 times after that and they never made it out. The girl in the office (not Shellie) told us they would be out first thing one morning and they were not. I said why did you tell us they would be here 1st thing, she said " I was trying to accommodate you" I said how by lying to us. The third time we called they put us on the schedule, knowing that they would not be out that day either. We found another RV repair person in the park and he had our slide fixed in 15 minutes and did not have to jack it up and guess what it was just him and his helper. The slide just needed to be re-programmed. All the headache and lies we had to deal with was waisted on the RV DOCTOR. NEVER AGAIN WILL I OR WOULD I CALL THEM.

Used this company and paid via iPad while they were on-site. I had a question on the bill afterwards and called numerous times trying to get someone to call back but no return calls. Service was done, but still think some extra charges were tacked on that should not have been. Techs fine, but questionable business practices. Would not recommend. Check out BBB and see that they have a D- rating.

Fast & efficient service. I had lost 50% of my power. Turns out the transfer switch was bad. They even found a problem I didn't know existed. It could have started an electrical fire. They got me fixed up and back on full power in no time. They will return to replace the transfer switch, which is on order. I highly recommend the RV Doctor!Service: Electrical

Oh my goodness people. Stay as far away as you can. They promised the world and deliver nothing. We worked with them for over 2 1/2 months and they never delivered what they said they would, keeping in contact with them was awful. They don t answer their phones, they are not honest with you about when they are in the office and when they are not. I know at least nine people who have had awful experiences with this company like we did. Stay far away.Service: Electrical

I purchased a used, converted, Mercedes Sprinter without ever having owned an RV and started driving and living out of it right away. Day 1 the generator wouldn't start and I was having all sorts of 'weird' electrical issues. I was able to stay with my sister for a week so started looking for a place to bring it in.. many places wouldn't even touch my van because it was converted and not a factory RV. RV Doctor gave me an apt the next day and was able to find and fix the issues with my van. Not only that, but the head tech, Mike, took so much of his time to explain the system to me and answer all my questions. I can't even explain the value of having more peace of mind about the vehicle I'm driving and living out of. I feel so much better about things and am thoroughly enjoying my new van thanks to RV Doctor! I very much appreciate these guys and will definetly bring my van back when in the area Services: Electrical, Air conditioning

What an awesome experience. I won't go into the gory details of the issue we were having with our 2018 Winnebago Navion, but will tell you that Shelly and team were the most helpful, responsive, courteous and professional folks I've dealt with in many years. While waiting to get the specific part in at their location, Shelly kept us up to date (sometimes daily) keeping us apprised as to the status of what was happening. Once the part was in, they notified us immediately and had us in and out in 2 (work) days. The quality of work seemed to be excellent and we then received a call from them a few days after we returned home with the RV asking if everything was in working order. Also told us to let them know at anytime if we experience any further issues. They were a wonderful staff to deal with and they are now my "GO TO" folks for any of our RV repairs. In this day and time, having an "RV DOCTOR" we can depend on is so important. And they are it!!!!Service: Air conditioning

They charged me $250 to diagnose what I already knew was wrong - my converter/charger went bad. They left me hanging SIX WEEKS until I finally was leaving to go home. NEVER returned my calls, made many excuses, promises to help me out, but never did a thing except take my money! I left messages asking for a refund of my diagnosis fee - no answer. Would give them minus 5 stars if allowed and a small claims filing if I was staying in Florida longer. Will be contacting better business and licensing bureaus about these scammers.3/17 edit - you have my name and you have my number. If you sincerely want to make this right . You should have been calling me already to refund my money, instead you of this smug insincere reply to this review. You had SIX WEEKS to do the job and you lied every time I called you. If you are not lying now, then I await your call and my refund.

I brought my little Aliner trailer in for an emergency repair of the refrigerator before a camping trip. I only had 24 hours before I left so I didn't know what to expect. They took care of me and had the fridge working for my trip. It was a small repair, but I was treated as well as any of the big rigs I saw in the parking lot. They even called me a few days later to ask if all was ok! I have already recommended them to people I know with RV's as the place to go. Thanks RV Doctor!Service: Electrical

BEWARE. STAY FAR AWAY.I was originally quoted 7-10 days for repairing some water damage to my slide out floor and fixing a leak. 7 WEEKS later I finally got my camper back. I was frustrated because I couldn t get ahold of anyone there who could update me on what was going on or why it was taking so long.THEN: Come to find out- the leak wasn t fixed!! The first big rain, water poured in damaging the floor again. I contacted them and they said they would honor their 90 day warranty. They said I had to bring it back to them by the next day or I would forfeit my warranty. I took it back and 3 WEEKS went by, with only 1 communication from as to what my camper needed. They said I needed a new window which their warranty wouldn t cover. I said I would be getting that done elsewhere and it shouldn t have taken 3 weeks to get back with me. I went and picked up my camper and had the leak serviced by a mobile repairman, who simply replaced the seals around the window and BOOM. Fixed. It took them less than an hour to accomplish what RV doctor couldn t even accomplish in 11 weeks. The mobile repair company also told me they could have repaired my floor for half the price of RV doctor. RV doctor charged me $4,000 and the floor is already coming apart! What a waste.AGAIN. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS USELESS EXCUSE OF A COMPANY.

They did a warranty replacement my Norcold Refrigerator in my Motorhome. Shellie in the office kept us updated on the lengthy process of warranty authorization and ordering part. Once they received the part they scheduled an appointment to come out. About an hour and half and the old part out and new part in. We would recommend.

I m not quite sure how I can express my gratitude for this business and the owner Dan. I stopped by today around 12:50pm and the sign on the door said they were closed from 12-1. The owner Dan saw me outside and came out and asked what I needed. I told him that my motor home wouldn t start and I explained what was going on. I showed him some pictures of what I thought was the issue area and he agreed that he thought that was the issue. He gave me great instructions on how to fix it myself. He was patient and so kind. I picked up the parts and went back and did what he said to do. IT WORKED! Thank you Dan! You re the best!
