Amazing people!! No issues throughout diagnosis. These people know their information very well and got us in and out quickly. Very knowledgeable, great price, I would recommend to anyone. I'm sure I'll be back in the future with any other car issues. I can't say enough how appreciative I am.

Most honest & trustworthy car shop I've been to, across many states. Multiple times I've gotten estimates from other places that seemed way too high. Ended up waiting til I could bring my car here, to find out "several of the items suggested are not necessary at this time", and/or could be done by them for cheaper.

I have taken my vehicles here for over 10 years. Quality work at a fair price. From the simple to the complex, they do it all and I've never been disappointed. John, Jim, Ed, and Margaret are great ti work with.

This is not my first time using this shop, I bring my car here regularly. But after what happened this time, I had to write a review to let others know. They ve always done an excellent job taking care of my car. Unfortunately, this time they made a mistake that led to some minor damage to my car. Most places would deny their fault or try to do the least that needed to get done to do what s right at their expense. These guys, though, didn t just offer to fix the problem, but they paid and covered every extra expense to restore my vehicle. At the end of it all, I walked away with my car as good as new (prior to this incident) and blown away by their great customer service. You guys have a costumer for life!- Julio D.

I have used Pam s Motor City quite a few times over the years.Memorable moments include:1. A valiant effort to figure out what was causing a leak inside my 2004 Ford Mustang Convertible (took a few trips over there during the Florida rainy season back in 2018/19 or so), efficient and dedicated. Like detectives. They fixed it. After almost 16 years of ownership I traded old girl in.2. Just today (2023) I realized I had a punctured tire - a nail in my 2020 replacement Ford Mustang Convertible drained me to 9 PSI on my way to work, I called them and limped in. Amazing service again!I m sure I ve been in for other things, but I m not going through my service records for this post. Just want to let the local community know that this is a great and dedicated auto service business. 10/10

My brother in law took his truck here when the alternator died. On checking in he warned the staff that if the battery went dead they wouldn t be able to get into the vehicle. On picking it up he found the drivers window broken as the had forced it to get into the truck. They refused to fix there mistake. I would not return there and recommend everyone to avoid this business.Service: Auto maintenance

Pam's Motor City always treats me fairly and are very honest in all their dealings. They do thorough testing and give you options for the job at hand. I have never brought my car back for a repeat problem, although they totally stand behind their work. I don't take my vehicles anywhere else! Ken

Just got installed new convertible top mechanics on my almost vintage garage kept BMW Z4 as well some mechanical needs. Motor City is A+ GEM-MINT-10 when it comes to service and it was a pleasure to do business with. The Staff really took care of me and my Precious Roadster! I cannot say how pleased I am. Staff always was in constant contact with updates on progress. MOST importantly, I was NEVER charged with anything I DIDN T Need. Hands off to the folks at Pams! Will continue to have them to the work on all my vehicles & from past experience it s tough to find a trusting Service.Center.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim, Brakes

Need a HVAC blend door actuator replaced and front disc brakes replaced on my 2014 Impala. They did the work in one day keeping me informed all day.Very reasonable price for the work.I give them an A+ for the work especially the brake job. Love driving my car again.I will recommend Pam s Auto to all my friends.Very pleasant staff.

Great service done quickly! They were ready to get started on my car right away when I arrived for my appointment and finished faster than they had estimated it would take. Once I was leaving it had started to rain pretty hard and they let me drive my car straight out of the garage so I wouldn t have to get wet. Will definitely be going back next time I need to have work done on my car!

Fairly new to the area, found this place on Google maps and trusted the reviews. So far it s been mostly oil changes and basic maintenance, and their prices seem reasonable. I was there yesterday waiting for an oil change and couldn t help overhearing for another customer... That rattle was a broken clamp, we replaced it, no charge. We also found a nail in your tire, we fixed it, no charge ... that s the kind of stuff you like to hear.

I wanted everyone to know that Pam's Motor City repaired my 2014 jeep for $200.00 LESS than what I was quoted at Estero Bay Chevy. The employees were kind and considerate compared to the dealership that is convenient to my place of employment. Yes it took a few days to get my part (only 2 and half) but hands down easier on your pocket book and kinder to your face. My jeep runs great!

I moved to Fort Myers, Florida in 2012. I had an incident on the interstate after living here for only a month and I literally prayed and asked God to show me where to take my car. He showed me Pam's Automotive. Fast forward to 2020, I have had three cars since then and they are the only people who touch my vehicles. They have always been very professional, full of integrity, priced fair and above board. They educate me on my vehicle and make recommendations. I love Pam's Automotive...they are truly the best in the business and awesome customer service!!

I am new to the area, my car suddenly started having major problems running. I found them on Google, saw their exceptional reviews, so I gave them a call. I called as soon as they opened, the owner said to come over right away. Everyone was so nice and friendly and I felt very comfortable with them. The cost of the repair was very reasonable, I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Impressed. Called for my Audi A6 for new brakes and oil change on all four tires... was quoted a VERY fair price compared to others and after dropping my car off they called me and said all four did NOT need to be done but only the rear wheels. HONEST and PROFESSIONAL.... They have my business moving forward!

Overheating problem and I told them I suspected the head gasket. They said they would do a block test. Next day I arrived to the tune of $ 170.00 stating they couldn't perform the block test but they replaced a broken bleeder bolt. I had already replaced the thermostat and cooling sensor and Pep Boys also performed a pressure test the day. before. I know for a fact it wasn't broken. I finally had a head gasket replaced at another shop that performed a carbon test. thumb down!

I'm in Maryland - Mom lives in Fort Myers, FL. Pam's takes care of Mom's car for regular maintenance. They are outstanding! Friendly and always top-notch work. They have helped Mom multiple times and today replaced a battery during an unscheduled appointment - Jim squeezed Mom in even though they were super busy already. They never recommend work that doesn't need to be done. They are always thorough. Pam's is great! Highly recommended!

Awesome place.This shop is a fantastic example of why it's important to support local businesses. They are great people they do fantastic work and they're fair with pricing and assessments. I got to them for all my automotive repairs and upkeep and I highly recommend them to anyone in the Fort Myers area.

Don t bring your Classic here! After a month and a half they told me she was ready. Only to find the carburetor hadn t been tuned properly and none of my tail lights were working. Not to mention the leak in the trunk area that they charged me over $80 to fix is still leaking... They do not verify the work is done properly, they don t respond to disgruntled emails and they don t apologize for wasting people s time or for their mistakes. Lastly, they over charge! The final straw for me was the $185 (NOT including parts) they charged to replace a starter and secure the wires. Two things; One, if a 40 year master mechanic makes $185 an hour, I chose the wrong profession. Or two, if it takes your 40 year master mechanic more than an hour to replace the starter... get yourself a new mechanic!

Had a dead battery when I went out to start my vehicle today. I have AAA, so had them come out to get it started. The driver told me he could put in a new battery for $125. I had also checked the website of Galloway Ford. They had a coupon on there for $99.95. I've gone to Pam's for at least 10+ years and always had pleasant experiences. I was there for approx. 20 minutes, which I was happy about until I got the bill. Would have thought that both AAA and the Ford Dealer would have been the most expensive. I was certainly wrong. $209.40 was the charge, part of which was $49.50 for a 1/2 hour labor, when I was only there for a total of 20 minutes? On top of it all, it's only a 24 month battery. Since Pam sold the business, seems like things have definitely gone south. All the years she spent building a superior reputation for quality and quantity, is flying out the door. I will not be back.Must admit, I was a little testy with the gal behind the counter and realize it wasn't her fault. For that, I would like to sincerely apologize to her.I thought I had adjusted my review, back a day or two after the incident. As they said, they did make the deal right and I was completely satisfied with everything. It was a simple mistake by an new employee that had used the wrong code for the battery I purchased. I have been back a couple of times since, and will continue to go back repeatedly as I have for the past 10 years or so, and these people are very sincere and will do what it takes to have a satisfied customer.

Just an update on my recent visit to Pam's Motor City for tires and new rims on my car. I have been challenging tire retailers for years to find a tire to soften the ride and tamp down the noise in my Miata MX5 hard top convertible. Jim is Pam's tire specialist and he nailed it (figuratively lol) on this last visit. No one will touch my car but Pam's, I have used Pam's Motor City a couple of times and remain loyal because I completely trust them. I go in with a list of service and concerns and get honest advise and never feel like I am getting upsold. I know most of my friends say they have been hoodwinked with auto repairs but not at Pam's. I can recommend Pablo as a mechanic with 22 years at Pam's ...it shows. He is patient and extremely knowledgeable. I am not a mechanic and I respect he is and appreciate his patience when I have a concern. He doesn't talk down to you he gives you his honest assessment. All I need to know when getting my car repaired and maintained. I wholeheartedly believe they are a 5 STAR auto repair center.Services: Electrical repair, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Air conditioning, Battery, Oil change

Great mechanics and service. You are kept informed at all times. They treat you with respect and answer any questions you may have and sometimes more. Been taking our car there for years, my in-laws also use them. Highly recommended.

The owner John gave me a quote upfront and stuck to his price which was 50% cheaper than what Napa Service Center wanted. Also the waiting room is very clean and comfortable!!I would definitely recommend this auto shop to friends and acquaintances.Service: Transmission

My second trip to Pam's Motor City and I am a customer for life. My Miata MX5 would not start it just died. Had a new battery only a month old so it was something I could not handle myself. I had friends advise me it was my alternator or starter motor and I am looking at a $800-$1100 repair. Got a call a few hours after dropping my car off and was pleasantly surprised to hear it was a minor ignition short and $100 to repair. I wonder how many places would have been so trustworthy. If you ever felt a victim of your own ignorance to auto mechanics I recommend Pam's Motor City. They have consistently been honest trustworthy and professional and I appreciate the comfort to know I am in good hands. You should expect nothing less from a mechanic and unfortunately not all garages have the same standard. Second time I am giving Pam's five stars. They are consistantly excellent.B.Wilkison
