Lou & his staff were amazing. My wife called to get an idea how much it would be to have her wheel baring replaced. The staff was kind, respectful, listened and took the time to deliver an explanation and amazing experience! They were 100 times friendlier and willing to help, unlike the local dealers and other shops that refused to talk without seeing the car for a diagnostic test first. I also spoke with Lou after the team looked at the car, he was patient, sent me pictures and videos and gave us a few honest opinions. I will be going back here for all my auto repair needs! Don t waste your time at other shops, Lou and his staff are top notch!!!Thank you!!!!

Just got my wife's window fixed and it was a fantastic experience with this place. They gave an accurate quote over the phone, got me scheduled quickly and had the job done earlier than the time frame they gave me. They had the lowest price for this job in the area and were wonderful to speak to in person and over the phone.

Lou's is easily sighted by being the loudest yellowest building in the area. The crew that work there are hella friendly and explain things going on without fluffing any B.S.They are reasonable professionals who will fix what you're asking, and if there's some funky stuff along the way, they'll let you know. Great service and great experience. Will definitely start here for my older vehicles when seeking car service.

what s the difference between another mechanic shop and lou s?Lous makes you feel like you where born into the family.Him and his team are so nice and you can t forget about the lovable greater panda(the shops dog)!Pricing is great and they work quickly and efficiently.I m happy to say I ve found my home shop!

Stopped in about 4:30 on a Tuesday with a nail in my tire. The ladies at the counter were super friendly and told me it would be about 20 minutes. 20 minutes later they were fixing my tire and sending me on my way. BTW I rarely give 5 stars but Lou's has a shop dog. If you have a cute, friendly shop dog you will always get an extra star from me.Service: Tires

I needed some batteries for my big diesel, and I just gave Lou's a call. Rachel fixed me right up with a couple of new Interstate 850 CCA batteries, and I was on my way. Fast and friendly! Oh, and the price was really good too

I just found myself a new repair shop. Amanda and the Service crew were absolutely AMAZING. I brought my jeep in this morning with a ton of stuff wrong and they worked diligently to get my jeep back to me on the same day for this Holiday weekend. I highly recommend Lou's!!! Thanks, you really saved me.

My car was sitting at a local dealership for five day - completely untouched whileI was unacknowledged. Frustrated, I called Lou's to see if they could help. I am so glad I did! Within in a minute of speaking to Amanda, it was extremely clear that not only did she know car stuff, she was also personable, caring, and communicative. I immediately got my car from the dealership and moved it to Lou's after. They had my car diagosed and fixed within the same day. I had the pleasure of meeting Lou and Rachel while there. It is so refreshing to encounter geniune and caring people these days - they were all such. I am newer in town and did not have a mechanic - I do now :)

Every time I work with Lou I am impressed. He takes the time to explain what s wrong with the car. He is honest and will tell me if it s worth fixing. The repairs hold up. I appreciate how much he and his staff care about their customers and the quality of the work. The receptionist staff is also kind and efficient. A class operation all the way around. Also centrally located good choice for people in any part of Fort Myers.

Lou and his team are extremely kind and talented people. They get you in fast and complete every job in a timely manner. They are also great at explaining issues and your options for them. A couple years ago they helped me replace the steering mechanism in my car for $1,200 less than what the dealership was going to do the job for, with warranty and everything. I have gone to them ever since and they have saved me so much money. I know my car is in good care when I bring it into Lou's.

Hey folks, I'm not a relative and I'm from out of town. I called Lou to see if he could help out with a auto issue and not only did he say yes he was able to fit me into a busy schedule. This place is my go to for auto care in South Florida.

Actual joke of a business. Told me it would be 145 to read a code off of my truck. I ll gladly take my business legit anywhere else. They ve consistently over charged everyone in my family and even then they send cars out without checking all the fluids. Imagine letting a car out that s pissing oil from the oil filter. Actual scumbags. Go anywhere else but here.

I wish i could give them 10 stars. They have always been there in a pinch or should I say a flat tire at work. It's like going to see the Aunt and Uncle you visit twice a year. Friendly and professional. Always recommend.

I needed an engine but couldn t buy a brand new one. At the end of the day Lou got me exactly what I needed. The pricing was about a third less AND it came with an amazing warranty. Not to mention, I am beyond happy for the speedy turn around. Thank you Lou s Total Car Care!

Exemplary Customer service! Friendly and welcoming front desk.I am a new driver, fairly new to Fort Myers Florida, I know nothing about cars, Lou and his team put this anxious gal at ease. They explained what my car needed and why. Very patient and kind. Lou gave me some great tips on how to continue maintenance on my car going forward. Thankfully close to home. My new go to mechanic!

Took my car to Lou s for stalling issues. They change fuel pump, fuel filter, did an induction service and change mass air flow sensor. COST $1049.60. CAR STILL STALLING. Guess what! I found a new mechanic. In five minutes he found the issue. Lou s Auto put in the wrong air mass flow sensor. Cost of new mechanic $105.00. # I WILL NEVER TAKE MY VEHICLE THERE!

By far the worst experience I have had at an auto shop. Took my truck in for an electrical issue and they said I needed an expensive new power steering rack and pinion, which I learned later has absolutely nothing to do with my particular issue. After paying over $2k for that, they said it was fixed. Immediately after I drove it off the lot the exact same issues happened. I took it back and they said I needed an expensive new instrument cluster and that would fix it. Same thing again, but this time when I drove away not only was nothing fixed but my truck read almost 60,000 miles MORE than when I dropped it off. Apparently they had given Ford the wrong mileage when they ordered the part. After 3 weeks of going back and forth with them and Ford I finally got the mileage issue fixed with a new cluster. Now after over $3k paid nothing was fixed and I had even more issues than when I dropped it off (fried cooling fan motor and fried rear slider window motor). Next I started doing my own research and realized I needed a new tail light and that should fix my issues. They had me order the parts off of Ebay and said they would install only if I got the parts myself. Finally after almost 3 MONTHS and $4,000 one of my original issue was fixed. I was still left the fried cooling fan and slider window motor, which they did not fix. Nor did they fix my brake issue that I brought it in for originally as well. I took it to different shop who fixed all those issues in 2 days and for much less money. Overall terrible experience. Highly recommend taking elsewhere, especially with any electrical problems.

I got a flat tire right by this shop, so I pulled in. By the time I made ot to their parking lot, my tire was almost off the rim I fully expected them to try to sell me a new tire, and then 3 more for a matching set, and then an alignment. I got none of that. They fixed my tire in less than 30 minutes and I had my car back for under $31. This is my first ever experience with a mechanic that didnt try selling me a bunch of extra things. I look forward to seeing what they can do with my old work truck.

I have been taking my vehicles to Lou's for 6 years. I can't even express how much I trust them.I have a 2004 BMW 325CI that they service for me. On occasions I have said what service I wanted only to have Lou personally call me and say it was unnecessary and an expense that was uncalled for.I know how hard it is to find someone that you have utter confidence in. Lou's is that auto repair facility.Thanks Lou!

Super professional five star people! The front desk lady (Cheryl?) gave a reasonable time frame for my tire repair even tho they were super super busy. Everything got done in a timely manner, about a half hour ahead of time, reasonable price, and very very cordial! I would DEFINITELY give these guys my continued business! Super nice people please take your business here to Lou's you won't regret it!

If I could give LOU'sTotal Car Care 4531 S Cleveland Ave, Ft Myers, FL.. more than 5 stars I would!!! After being stranded earlier in the day for a sensor failure with my car I drove to Lou's not sure how long the wait would be because (understandably) they were busy!!! However, they diagnosed my car immediately and within the hour they had the part replaced and I was on my way. My car now runs better than ever and the repair cost was MUCH lower than I was expecting. Car care and repair with mechanics that have reliability and INTEGRITY along with outstanding customer service!! (12 rating in my book. Receptionist gets a shout out too for being so hospitable in such a busy environment ! Thank you LOU!!!!!!

I don't normally write reviews, but this experience had to be shared. Lou's did an absolutely outstanding job and they deserve the recognition. I got into an accident in early December and had to leave my car with them. They helped arrange everything through my auto insurance and kept my husband and I well informed on what was going on. It's never a fun or easy thing to have to deal with accidents when they happen but to have had the team at Lou's helping us advocate to get my car fixed was a huge relief to us. I highly recommend Lous for all your car's needs!!!

Lou's to the rescue again.....they recently went above and beyond with getting us back on the road at an affordable price. I can't recommend them enough for a vehicle in need. Thank you again to everyone at Lou's. 09/29/23Took my car in on the 31st of August for a transmission fluid change before a trip. She tried to give them some trouble, but the mechanic put her in her place. We drove all the way to Harrison, TN and back with no issues. We will definitely return to keep her running right.
