Just picked up my car, and only time will tell if problem has been fixed. Very nice mechanic, who appears to be knowledgeable. Price was at low end.

Joe is a real cracker jack mechanic, who simply kicks butt on repairing my vehicle's (including the ones that YouTube yahoos messed up). He not only knows his stuff and busts his butt, he charges a reasonable and fair price. The same level of service for the 13+ years since I brought my first car there.

I was stuck in North Ft Myers from Ohio and called this place on a Saturday to have my truck looked at and repaired. The owner told me to come by and would diagnose it for "free" since no one else was open and i told him my situation. When I got there the owner talked my ear off and was more concerned about bragging and showing me vehicles he got from the flood caused by Ian and how much money he was making from the storm damage flipping those vehicles.He proceeded to tell me how busy he was, barely spent 5 minutes looking at my truck, drove it a block down the street and back and told me it was a wheel bearing and how I could do that myself since I work on vehicles. I didn't agree with the opinion but took his word as an expert and went out of my way (took 2 weeks to get) to buy a hub assembly and replace it. I WAS RIGHT that it WAS NOT THE PROBLEM insofar as the noise sounded like rocks rolling in the center cap not a bearing noise which I have had several times before. I took my truck to Pit Stop Auto in Port Charlotte where it was diagnosed as the driveshaft for the front differentia!*.What a waste of time and money! I offered to pay this clown top dollar to squeeze me in and get me back home 1400 miles away since he was so "busy" and it would take a long time because he was so backed up and busy. I wouldn't trust this place after my experience and seeing how they sell flood vehicles with no disclosures but moreover due to the careless and false diagnosis consider this place substandard at best!

Owner Joe very friendly been coming here for years highly recommend! Always honest and upfront about what is wrong with the cars I have brought in and always carefully walks you through what you need done and don't. Unlike other shops that add more and more on till it's to expensive to afford. "GRAND THEFT AUTO CARE "THEY SCAMMED MY UNCLE AND STOLE HIS PICK UP TRUCK..... THEY SHOULD BE CALLED....... "GRAND THEFT AUTO "My uncle had gotten ill and had heart bypass surgery , brought his pick up for repair there over a year ago FOR REPAIR . A so called friend of his told my uncle that he paid the mechanic $600 to fix the truck . My uncle was in and out of the hospital and visited the shop several times and was told they were working on his truck and knew how to fix it... Well the truck NEVER got fixed, Joe the owner pulled a fast one and stole the vehicle from my UNCLE by putting the title in his name...... and we find out that JOE never DID ANY repairs TO GET IT TRUCK RUNNING ......and he actually told me that he WAS fixing the truck ......MY uncle lives about 300 yards from their garage and they treated an ailing neighbor this way by stealing his truck....as I said "GRAND THEFT AUTO " IN SLUMCOAST !!!!!

I have taken all 3 of my cars there and they have taken care of everything. Was honest about what needed to be done and not done. I also referred my friend to them, she to has had a great experience. Prices are very reasonable compare all the other mechanics around the area if not even cheaper. They will even inspect a new/used vehicle for us before we even buy it for free.

I brought my car in because I thought it was leaking anti-freeze, it was the water pump. So the anti-freeze container was cracked & Joe replaced it for free. I always have excellent customer service & repair service for a fair price. This is my go to place. AWESOME!!!!

Five star all day. Joe is one of the best and most honest mechanics around. Won't go anywhere else. Totally straight with you. Won't even touch the car til he takes a look at it and gives you a ballpark.

Owner/Mechanic is an awesome guy. Excellent with diagnosing auto issues. Nice guy all around...but...the name of the garage is no longer brothers car care...it's J & J Auto.

If your looking for an HONEST and GOOD mechanic Stay away from this guy. Jobama at one time did some decent work, now he and his little parrot Roy is more interested in the scam. I guess he's not good enough to make it as a real mechanic. I call him Jobama ( Joe ) because he's never been responsible for any missing parts or anything else that goes wrong.Jobama works better than Joe Clinton
