Absolutely % the best around. My neighbor introduced me to this business, I'm grateful.Everyone working there is delightful, skilled/knowledgeable in so many areas and interesting also.I will forever be a client of theirs, not just because they are less expensive than the dealership, but also because they respect the product and customers.Rick the owner is so wicked cool, you must ask him about his motocross life - Insanely awesome!These guys saved the day, twice for me, and I am beyond thrilled to have found this treasured service, and the people that make it that way.You can trust the care of your babies with this company and get the best service around, trusting their value.I had some photo fun while I was there. There is so much auto life and photo texture there!

I have been to many repair shops in our area well i think that I finally found the best of them at hunt automotive. Definitely a first class operation. Just walking into their facility gives you a good feeling of how professional they are neat, organized, well staffed and costumer friendly. Just had some work done on my Jaguar they diagnosed what it needed before I even arrived. Result of the work was spot on with very reasonable prices. I give them a 100% recommendation!

Terrific independent, experienced shop. Rick and team are honest and will explain repairs and sometimes why you don t need a dealership recommended repair. Saving you time & money.When needed, repairs are significantly below dealership service costs.

I don t ever leave reviews but Rick is one of the most knowledgeable and cool guys I ve ever met. Took my 2018 Alfa Romeo in for an oil leak and he had it back the next day with the best service I could ve asked for. Also way cheaper and better service than a dealership. I used Hunt Automotive to store my 2003 Mercedes SL500 that I purchased remotely from NY. Rick went thru the trouble of opening up his shop for me to have access to my vehicle on the days he was closed. While my car was in storage I took the opportunity to have Rick and his team replace a window regulator. I was extremely happy with the work and felt the price charged to be reasonable and fair.I also enjoyed being educated by Rick on the car I had just purchased on how to best maintain my SL500.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Each car has its own personality, that is what Rick told me about my 1970 MGB. I took my car to Hunt Automotive for what I thought was a carburetor and ignition switch issue. Not only did he fix my issues, he took me on a road test when I went to pick up the car and I learned how best to drive this specific car. I have been driving manual cars for over 50 years and yes, old dogs can learn new tricks. Thanks Rick, for taking car of my car and loving the work that you do.Service: Engine repair

Wow, was I thrilled to find this place! I am the recent proud owner of a 1967 Sunbeam Alpine. I love this car but I am not much for the mechanical side of things. I can now take comfort in the fact that I have Rick Hunt and his team to help me take care of the important stuff. They take great pride in their work, are reasonably priced and couldn't have done a better job. I highly, highly recommend Hunt if you've got a classic or just want to have 100% confidence for any car.

had a clutch done many years ago and he never reset the PIS as I discovered years later and the car is missing its rear stabilizer bard and sway bar just discovered recently - the clutch removed looked in good condition and suspiciously had a bent tab which upon more thought process could not actually happen and at the time I was naive and put my faith is his fake persona that he tries to convey and finally saw through it all and its why I try and do all my own automotive work - ordered a 2 way diagnostic computer to communicate with the clutch system and now looking into ordering the sway barsService: Transmission

Rick is so cool. What a facility. Cars galore and beautiful ones at that. He works on all foreign vehicles. I took my Maserati in for what I believed was a transmission issue and come to find out it was a bad alternator. Maserati parts, service and labor are not cheap but I would have paid double at the dealership. This is a great place and I highly recommend it.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical

I have been using Hunt Automotive for over 5 years now and this is the only place I would take any of my vehicles for automotive repairs. He is honest about the repair, the price, and when the vehicle will be done. Mr. Hunt and his mechanics are great! We take both cars there, a 2005 BMW and a 1975:Cosworth Vega. They actually knew what it was! Very reasonable price and excellent service. We would highly recommend the shop.

I am not family or a friend nor was I asked to do this....and this is the first review I have ever written about car service...it s the second review EVER for me...My experience with Hunt Automotive is not extensive, but it is very specific. I moved to Ft. Myers on April 1, 2016. I was referred to Rick by a friend...as soon as I drove up in my Honda CIVIC to the garage, I saw the antique cars and thought this is going to be expensive. Rick and his team diagnosed my problem, gave me options, told me where I will be able to save some money, and communicated well. The service was incredible and the price was right! When I stopped by to check on things, I locked the keys in my friends car...took Rick a few minutes to get them out. He handed me the keys with a gentle smile and when I tried to tip him for the nuisance I caused him and one of his guys he politely refused. The next time I had car issues I brought it to Rick and everything was perfect. I am so pleased and felt like I should let some people know about it.

Recently moving to Fort Myers, I was in need of a dependable shop to take care of things I couldn't personally take care of on my Jag and Chevy SS/R. The SS/R is such a rare car and past shops that I have used did not take care of the simple things. Bent hood prop rod, tearing the custom hood blanket, leaving a tear in the steering wheel. And the past were either dealers or high end car repairs business. After finding Hunt's, I have found one of the most professional and cleanest shops I have seen in my travels. Rick hold nothing back, he takes the time to make you feel welcomed and at the same time he will inform you of his staff's experience as well as the shops accomplishment and assign the tech who can best take care of your repair needs. If they don't feel comfortable in doing the needed repairs, Rick will tell you up front and not after trying to fix a problem that can't be fixed.My SS/R is back to being the beast it was several years ago thanks to the Hunt's staff. My Jag is going strong and I know if in the future that if I have a problem with either ride, the Hunt Automotive team will fix my problems and not have to bring it back for more repairs because it wasn't done correct the first time. Thanks to Rick and the Staff at Hunt Automotive. Terry

I recently got the power steering pump replaced in my BMW 325 CI the service and price were excellent. They detailed my car inside and out when they were finished as well. The owner also gave me a tour of the facility and it is quite impressive. I highly recommend Hunt Automotive.

I had recently taken my 2014 Maserati Ghibli QS4 to Rick Hunt automotive and was extremely satisfied with the excellent level of service and customer service. I highly recommend Rick Hunt automotive for all your foreign and domestic auto service needs. PS: I will no longer be taking my Maserati to Maserati of Naples.

Rick's (and his staff) love of cars shows in his work. He goes above and beyond when my car is in his shop. Labor rates are extremely competitive and you know the work will always be done the right way.

I've been uing Hunt for over 14 years. Rick runs an honest ,reliable, shop with a very knowledgeable staff. Foreign or domestic cars are given the finest service found anywhere.

Rick and staff actually love cars, which is rare among mechanics. They take care of my vintage Alfa, BMWs, etc. Not cheap, but they are real mechanics. Machine shop, welding tools, etc on site. Rick can make a small part if it does not exist. Can't say enough good things about them.
