The tech who arrived is named Freddy. I watched him do the whole job and appreciated how experienced he was. He said he has been doing this for 20 years and it showed. The car is 20 years old and the old windshield gasket was brittle. The way he removed it showed he really knew what he was doing. He then cleaned and primed the surfaces and applied the adhesive around the edge of the window hole. The way he "popped" in the glass looked easy but I could tell that it wasn't easy to hit it perfectly the first time which is what he did.Anyway, the bottom line is you want someone who has a lot of experience, the windshield was flawlessly installed and I'm sure will last a long time. Freddy showed the kind of craftsmanship and care to detail that is deep down what has kept America great since World War II when I came upon the scene.

Bobby and his team are top notch they work diligently to get our jobs done we've subbed him out Over a 1000 jobs and we haven't had any issues really when we do have an issue of their all over it these guys are very professional and will continue to use them in the future thank you from downtowner auto glass

Safelight wanted $800 for my OEM windshield(even though I have OEM replacement) and Glass America worked with my ins to have it completely covered! They are family oriented and did a clean job! Their techs are friendly and made me feel comfortable! Thank you!

Contacted this company on 1/4/23 and gave them all my info. This was for a truck windshield replacement. They said they would contact Ford and get availability and call me back to schedule. It's now been 8 days!! They did not get back to me and I've tried calling them several times. They don't bother answering the phone. Clearly, a total waste of time trying to use this business. What an unprofessional, lazy, sloppy attitude. Clearly they don't want or need the business. Just leave customers "hanging"? I guess that's how SW FL is these days. Plenty of other auto glass shops in Fort Myers to choose from so I wouldn't bother trying to use this Glass America (Fort Myers) ever again.Service: Auto windshield replacement

I was referred to this local shop by USAA after a no-call, no-show by Safe Lite. Surprise! another no-call, no-show, and no answer of phone calls from this shop as well. Voice mail is full and can't accept any more... Way to support our nation and vets Glass America!!YOU as the consumer have every other option to choose from around here. Pick anything but Safe Lite or Glass America!!

I don t like giving bad reviews. I did not have a good experience all around and they left trash in my Mercedes. When I asked questions about my windshield time frame and that I get OEM glass, the response was right, but it s more than that. Like I wasn t smart enough to understand paperwork needed to be approved. Overall, the way my car was left unlocked and dirty, had me upset and I let them know.Update: March 2023 windshield is cracked again. Clearly a bad install job but I had to pay for an OEM window upfront for it to be ordered. They claim a warranty slip has been filed out but they gladly took $400 plus my insurance deductible to order a replacement. That was March 7th, it s the 22nd and it s silence still from GA. Get this, I ve been told the windshield arrived on the 16th. Still no one has called to schedule my service. The reason I know this, is bc I ve had to call them everyday and I am not getting a response from Fort Myers or Naples. I keep getting routed to a call center. Basically, I went here bc the Mercedes dealer said they do the OEM. GEICO approved my first OEM, but their install has failed and the glass has separated beneath the seems of the window. Hairline cracks coming from both sides.There is seriously safety negligence happening. My first visit in November they left trash in my car, broke my window wiper, and now have installed the window so poorly it s separated at the seams. Now they are ignoring me bc they don t want to deal with a replacement, WHICH I ALREADY PAID CASH FOR.DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. NEITHER LOCATION. I was at the fort myers shop and that experience was so poor I thought I d give the Naples an opportunity to fix the Glass America quality mistake, but it s nothing but negligence. They gladly took my money tho. Twice in only a few months.ANOTHER UPDATE MARCH 27th, 2023. Someone from glass america says we will be there between 8-5 to replace your window that we broke but won t claim. SOMEONE SHOWED UP, looked at the window and says these is from rocks and LEFT! Didn t replace my windshield that I paid cash for. He said he wasn t replacing it and is gone. There isn t anyone at the office. Bo one will answer the phone. The dispatch number is going to voicemail. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESSService: Auto windshield repair

Had Side quarter glass replaced after window was broken. Factory glass was ordered and installed. Technician did not protect the vehicle when removing the broken glass. When window was installed the gasket and rear of window were not seated correctly.The technician said when the glue dried it would be fine. The operations manager came out to view the issues, as there was no change once glue dried, and agreed it was not set correctly and said they would replace the window, with a new window. Second service they removed the window before verifying that the new part was ok, new part was damaged. their answer was to reset the window they removed. This means that factory tabs on the glass were broken and are no longer there. 100% dissatisfied with service, factory glass was paid for and expected to be installed correctly if not the first time at least the second. Instead I am left with improperly installed window. Would not recommend.

Extremely professional, on time, kept us update on when the glass would arrive and be installed. Great follow-up, customer service and the guarantee is for the lifetime of the vehicle. Exceptional friendly and efficient service on the phone to get a quote and schedule service, and also by the technician to replace my windshield right outside my office. They were able to schedule the installation the day after I called. The only negative is that I requested a quote and appointment online the evening before I called, but did not get any response through the next morning, so I had to call in the early afternoon to get scheduled.

The front desk girl was very helpful. Once I spoke to a rep he made the process very easy, he even called the insurance and made a conference call to set everything up. Got my truck window fixed quicker than expected. Great job, thanks everyone at glass America.

Just had Glass America replace 2 piece windshield in 1999 peterbilt 377 at the Pete Store Ft.myers, FL it's a 2 man job and the guys were so professional had the glass out and back in 30-45 minutes. Entire outfit is a joke- from their receptionists to their regional manager and everyone in-between.After installing a windshield they left glass all over my driveway and used a blower to blow large shards into the grass. They did not come equipped with the proper tools to remove glass (that is created during the removal of the windshield) and this resulted in injury.
