Gerber was great to work with.They gave us timely responses to our queries and worked with our [Canadian] insurance company to get our car repaired after a front end collision.They wanted payment before they started the work, so this took some time - mostly due to the pace at which our insurance company moved. Gerber was great about promptly sending all information requested by our insurance company for the estimates etc.After the work was done, our horn wasn t working - we took the car back and they promptly took care of that as well.They have a relationship with Enterprise car rentals, and our rental arrived and was returned smoothly and efficiently as well.We were happy with the work done on our car and would recommend their service to anyone needing collision repairs.

From start to finish, from switching from Oliver to Nicole as estimators, from the quality of their work, it s been an absolute best experience getting my car repaired. It was, I thought, the simplest of repairs and to NO FAULT of their own there was ONE part that was on back order for much longer than they expected. But every week, sometimes twice a week, Nicole was amazing at keeping me in the loop and reassuring me of their timeline and how fast things get done. It was my first and hopefully last time having to get my car fixed and I would 100% always recommend them.

Had a 2021 Ford edge SEL in for front bumper damage at a 10 mph crash. Gerber unlike caliber required deductable after service was performed so that's why I chose Gerber. Gerber fixed everything and a month later the car looks great!

I had a wonderful experience bringing my car here and having my car fixed with Gerber Collision. I am very impressed by their services! I was called multiple times to update me throughout the 2 weeks my car was in the shop, also including up to date text messaging. They were fast, thorough, clean and I am so pleasantly surprised by the results when I got my car fixed! Not only did they fix the damages from the accident but they also refilled my coolant, refilled my washer fluid, cleaned the outside of my vehicle, AND dusted the inside of my car which was all extra service I didn t even have to ask for! Kudos to the ladies who were working in the office and also the men in the shop. Hopefully I ll never get in an accident again, but if I were I m definitely bringing my vehicles here!Services: Painting, Body & Trim, Air conditioning

As a customer, I tried to call them thrice. I was put on hold all the three times without anyone even greeting me. The first time was for over 6 and a half minutes before I disconnected the call! This tells me this is NOT the place to do business. If they cannot even take a call, how will they have time to fix my car with the proper attention and time. Sorry, not for me. I am taking my business elsewhere!

What can I say we met by accident excellent facility service professional up-to-date minute by minute the moment your vehicle is dropped off being worked on being put back together and ready for delivery the very best that is most impressive service facility in all Fort Myers Metro Parkway anybody work that you need for your vehicle this is the place to come recommend it very highly David Guerra they did an excellent job on my BMW X4

I don't recommend this place. I guarantee that if you go somewhere else you will get a better price and still lifetime warranty. They quoted me 3800.00 and for the same thing in 2 other places with lifetime warranty I got quoted $1300 and the other $1490

Anthony D'Costa and the team of artists at Gerber Collision (12791 Metro Pkwy Fort Myers, FL) were able to take an aggravating situation, with the potential to turn into a months long saga, and complete the repairs in less than 3 weeks. Considering the current supply chain issues, parts shortages and that its season in Southwest Florida, which means the body shops are swamped with damaged vehicles. My 2011 Honda Accord had some previous chips and scrapes on the bumper, so Anthony graciously offered me the opportunity to pay out of pocket to have it painted, and it looks great! Lastly they restriped my pinstripe and filled in a small rust spot on the hood with a clear coat, which they didn't have to do. This was the first time I filed a claim against another driver, and I have to say The Hartford and Gerber Collision handled it the right way.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Front desk and Nicole were very welcoming and friendly, Nichole walked me through the process before and after I left and picked up my car (she knows what s she s talking about) and overall felt great leaving my car with them! My son was in an accident in January. I took the car in for damage assessment and met with Nicole. From there, she handled everything with the insurance. We got the car scheduled for repair on 3/23/23. We dropped it off, met with Nicole and she gave us a two week estimate. Even with Gerber requesting a 2nd replacement door for my sons car(they would not use the first one sent to them, another reason they are great), it was still done in two weeks!!! I received text updates with every step of the process. Nicole and the team at Gerber are amazing. We pray we never need their service again but we know who we will go to if needed and who we refer people too.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

BEWARE!!!Scam autoshop, AND BEWARE OF A LADY THATS WORKS FOR GEICO THAT YOU TURN YOURE CAR INTO, SHES A WOLF IN SHEEPS CLOTHING EVERYTHING SHE TELLS U IS A LIE!! worst experience of my life, I went there with my car to get fixed and insurance was gonna pay and they try to say my car was totalled and that there was more problems then there realy was they held my car longer then it was supposed to be they over charged on there services by 3 thousand and insurance was gonna leave me for dead but we faught to get the car out they made that even more impossible and they took my car apart and didn't put it back and then since they said it was totalled they said it was to dangerous to drive out so I had to get my car towed out, once I did that I drove my car that wasn't totalled to another body shop and they gave me a better estimate that was cheaper by 3000 and then my insurance questioned who was lying so they sent there own adjuster and everyone found out that gerber auto collision was lying the whole time but this whole process took 1 more month!! This place needs to be shut down I think they have a deal with the auction people or something because if they total ur car and deem the damages are worth more then the car is worth they get to keep ur car!!Service: Body & Trim

Had my wife s vehicle in this shop for a week. I pretty much called every day to check on the progress due to wanting to return a rental car as early as possible. Kevin was always easy to contact and always very willing to answer my questions with a positive attitude. Great customer service. My wife was pleased with the repairs on her vehicle. If there were a zero stars I would give them that. Got assigned to them by insurance. About 50 minutes from our home. Then made an appointment online on their website. Showed up at my appointment time and first the young lady said we don t have your claim information and can not see you without it. Then she found it. Then she said you don t have an appointment and we are booked like 2 weeks out. Then she found my appointment. Proceeded to tell me the online app is not under their control and we have to reschedule with her. Finds me an appointment for 4 days later and I am thankful. When I left I called back and asked to speak to a manager so I could see if maybe he could help the young lady out by controlling the website schedule but the young lady that answered said I couldn t speak with him and he already know of the problem and their was nothing he could do about it. I called corporate to see if they could control the website booking and she said no it s a third party vendor and they have no control over it. But she will have someone look into it and call me back. 4 days later, still no call. But wait there s more! Take the car back at my new time 4 days later and after sitting there for more than an hour a tech comes out and says we can t work on your car it s a hybrid, we don t do work on hybrids you will have to take it to that brands dealer! Never heard such nonsense! And this from a national collision company. Good luck if you get assigned here!Service: Body & Trim

Customer service is a + very helpful and explain the whole process. I forgot my cooler in the truck and went back the next day and a gentleman walked me back to my truck helped carry my cooler to my rental, he was very nice. Really pleased with the experience as a whole.

I ve gotten body work done at this location twice now. Both times the car came back looking brand new. Never had an issue with customer service either. Staff was friendly. It took a long time to get in for an appointment. An then 2 months to do the work. I'll let you know how that turns out. To be fair I'm sure there is Long wait do too hurricane. The first time I used them they were fantastic

I hit something on the highway that damaged the passenger door and other areas of the side of my truck. Kevin was my service agent, and he did an excellent job keeping me informed as the process of repairing my truck progressed. Clayton reviewed the final handoff of the truck back to me, and was very professional. Oceanna and Nicole handled all my paperwork, and made the entire process very easy. The entire team was very friendly and helpful. Gerber has a great team and it shows in their work. If you are stuck deciding to choose between Gerber and somewhere else. Choose somewhere else. I chose Gerber and regretting even wasting a week with their service. They lack communication skills, they are not truthful and if their manager calls you after you have a complaint of how you are treated. The manager will just rant on about who your complaining about, his 5 star reviewed inspector Anthony that works for him. After speaking with the manager, I realized the employees are not truthful because the managers allow them not to be and will let them get away with telling you things will be inspected on a certain day and they will follow up after but you won t get a follow up call. In fact you will call to follow up and find out Anthony hasn t even inspected it at all and they have so many vehicles to inspect and I m not first on the list. How upsetting is it to hear that and would you want to work with people that treat you as if your just another person on their list. But as long as he s seen 5 star reviews on google about his employee which I haven t seen any great reviews at all and I honestly should have looked through these reviews because they are not as immaculate as he explained. Thankfully I was referred to Caliber Collision by a friend of mine and Wow such a great experience. My Truck was picked up the next day from Gerber and was sent to Caliber Collision. Caliber Collision is the best decision I ever made. DON T GO TO GERBER!!!!

Nicole is amazing! She explained everything to me in great detail and was very professional. As someone who doesn t know a lot about auto repairs, this was so nice and helpful. Also, my car was completely spotless when I picked it up. They also worked directly with enterprise so it was super easy for me to get my rental. After having a terrible experience with the Gerber down the road I brought my vehicle here to address additional concerns. I am very happy with the customer service I received from Clayton. Clayton took excellent care of my vehicle and was able to remove the glue fingerprints left behind from the other shop. Clayton was professional, courtesy, and caring. He even apologized on behalf of the other shop. Clayton even went the extra mile and buffed out a scratch on my bumper that was not Gerber s responsibility. I would definitely recommend this Gerber based on the customer service I received. Thank you to Clayton and his team.

I was referred by my insurance company, State Farm. This was over the holidays so I had to wait almost 3 weeks to get my Jeep in for repairs. Matt was very professional; wrote up my estimate and emailed everything to my insurance company. Its great that they are right next door to Enterprise to pick up a rental. The actual repairs they did on my 2019 Jeep were very well done. The reason for the 4 stars was for the amount that I paid and the amount of time they had my SUV; it was very dirty from sitting outside under trees in their back lot. Matt explained that they had washed it on Friday but due to computer issues; I couldn't pick up until Tuesday before they closed. I would have thought that someone would have rewashed the Jeep sometime on Monday or Tuesday so that it would have looked "spotless" when I came to get pick it up. They did some additional work that I paid out-of-pocket for besides what my insurance was covering. The body work, paint job, and Matt get an A plus- the exterior was filthy and gets a D minus.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I would highly recommend this place, My car looks brand new. The staff is very professional and made sure all my concerns were addressed and met. Also, they gave my car a wash and My car was absolutely SPOTLESS!! I saw a young girl cleaning the vehicles and she was just boppin away to her music while she cleaned cars which i thought was awesome. Very great energy (Love the braiding hair btw). My experience at Gerber was the BEST...Each and every employee was so knowledgeable and helpful , which is so impressive. My car is clean and looks like new and the crew also helped me line up my rental car with Enterprise...it was so easy and they kept me informed until my car was ready. I will recommend them to anyone who needs their car fixed and hope that I won' t need them again, but in case I do, I would never take my car anywhere else ...THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUROUTSTANDING SERVICE !!!
