Being new to the area, I found Edison Auto through a google search of locally owned mechanic shops. I am glad that I found them as the service I received was top notch and the customer service provided was excellent. John was able to fit me in same week and resolved my problem in the same day. I would highly recommend Edison Auto if you are looking for a trusting place to go.

Found what was wrong with our Buick quickly and fixed my car within 2 days! Sent me a Thank you note including a scratch off lottery ticket (not a winner...bummer) and cards to receive credit if I give a referral...We are new to Ft Myers... so glad we found them via Tire Plus across the street!

The team at Edison Auto have been incredible. They have always worked me in to have my car fixed, especially during an emergency case. Reasonably priced and the hospitality is unmatched. Not only an outstanding mechanic shop, but an exemplary local business. I had been getting the run around from the Toyota dealership in regards to facilitating a warranty repair. I ended up taking my car into Burt s crew and they identified the issue and resolved the problem I was having. The entire process was fully transparent and they took their time to investigate and relay that information to me. I would recommend this shop to anyone having any car trouble, you re in good hands here. Thanks Edison Auto!

My 4 Runner just rolled over 208k miles thanks to Mark Cox and his fine mechanics! John is always attentive and keeping me in the loop on repairs. Have offered many times ways to save some $ on the repairs. Have known Mark and his wife Sherri for over 40 years. Good people!

A friend recommended Edison Auto Services because she had heard great things about this place. I was glad I took my car there after the panel that controlled the windows "smoked." John checked me in and they provided updates on what they were doing and the car was fixed in a timely manner and at a very fair price. They even neatly made my car looked less messy and owner Mark sent me a thank you card. I am glad I found Edison Auto and I strongly recommend it.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Honest, friendly, courteous & knowledgeable. Brought my car in with what I thought was a major electrical issue, was diagnosed as a minor fix & repaired super fast & for an amazingly fair price. As someone who hates bringing my car in for repairs , they made me feel very comfortable & valued. Edison Auto is definitely my new repair shop. I will recommend them to everyone I know. I TRUSTED Edison Auto since coming to Fort Myers, for the past 7 years. It's hard to find auto mechanics you can trust. This is the place, they know their job, period. Don't hesitate about choosing them, go and see them. John and company are there, for you.

Mark and John were incredibly helpful. I was on a trip from Michigan to Florida and needed expedited service on my car's A/C system. They went out of their way to get me in immediately and recharged the system. No extra charges; only what was necessary to address the problem. These guys are very honest, competent, and professional. I'd recommend Edison to anyone.Service: Air conditioning

John and the crew got me in and out in less than a day. My Jeep is running great. They communicated with me every step of the way. Very busy shop but it s incredibly clean and organized - may not seem like much but I appreciated the attention to detail. I won t go anywhere else.

I really enjoyed working with Dan, Mark and their team. Edison Auto is highly professional, highly experienced and most importantly, values their customers and the experiences they have. I always know that I am receiving services that exceed industry standards for a fair and reasonable price. Edison Auto did a phenomenal job with my vehicle! They immediately found that the inside of my tire was worn so bad that it could have popped any moment! Without hesitating, Mark the owner, went himself to go pick up two new tires for my car. Dan, who sits at the front desk, really helped me understand what was going on with my vehicle, as well as being very thorough with the report that they sent. This isn t just some simple report, might I add. They sent me a link to a multi page report with photos of my vehicle and even levels of urgency for certain matters. It really was very professionally done and I sincerely appreciated the breakdown and the transparency with everything about my vehicle. The best part was that it was mobile friendly so I could view everything directly from my phone in the waiting room. I would definitely recommend Edison Auto! I brought my 2015 Cadillac ATS4 2.0t in when I experienced rough starts and a engine service light. The light resolved itself before I brought it in. After being informed that a diagnostic ride with the mechanic would be $145 I agreed. The mechanic recommended changing the spark plugs. After a hour I received a call from John who told me that the spark plugs are fine and it needed the heads cleaned of carbon and it would be thousands $$$. I said "do it" . A hour later they call me back and tell me they don't want to do the work and I should find a mechanic shop that "walnut shell blasts".Very disappointed the ASE certified mechanic didn't want to do a job I was willing to pay for.If he is not confident in his ability it will cost the shop money.*Full disclosure. The owner waived the diagnostic fee when I told him I was writing a Google review.

Dan and their staff at Edison Auto Service are top-notch! They are very thorough and precise and constantly keep you in touch with what your bill should be. I couldn't be happier with their service and performance. I actually brought a car in that other mechanics couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. They easily did. They have a return customer in me. Thanks Edison Auto for all you've done for us. Greatly appreciated!

Just Wow!!! Called and made an appointment. Got me in a few days later. Did a complete diagnostic on the car and sent over a complete report for EVERYTHING - not just what was wrong but what was working as well. Few minutes later sent over very reasonable estimate. Approved estimate and car was done same day within hours. I get every repair isn t the same and some jobs may take longer, but, even if it wasn t major, it required parts and they got to it. They were very professional (nice) and very informative. Would 100% recommend. Car is running great too. Thanks Gents!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I was in Fort Myers a few weeks back to visit my Aunt. Her Caddy was acting up. I took it here. The guy Dan Lewis is great. No BS.... Strait to the point and realistic. I love auto shops like this. I got the run around from a few shops in the area. I don't like games. Edison Auto Service is the best car repair company in Fort Myers PERIOD.

Edison Auto Services has taken care of our two cars for the last two years and have done a wonderful job. We were particularly impressed when instead of telling us that we should do X, they told us the alternatives and what to expect with each one. They have also proposed services when they had the car disassembled so we wouldn't have to pay for that process a second time. Never have we been treated so professionally by our auto service. We highly recommend them to everyone.

I moved from NY 8 yrs ago. I was a single female and had a trusted mechanic and friend there in NY. I found Dan Lewis and his team here in Fort Myers FL and with the help of my friend/mechanic back in NY he helped me to confirm that I had found an honest, reputable and fairly priced automotive team led by Dan Lewis. I trust Dan and his team. They took great care of my "northern" SUV and now take care of my car and my husband's older SUV.

I found Edison auto based off their reviews. I can honestly say that they live up to the 5 star rating. They demonstrated Great customer service and honesty throughout the process of fixing my vehicle. They had my car diagnosed and fixed quickly. I ll certainly be utilizing their services If I ever need a mechanic in the future.-Stuart

A real professional group of guys. It was like having someone in your family looking out for your best interests. Finding a repair shop that you can trust is very unusual but these guys have my confidence after just one visit.Dan kept me updated on the progress which most shops don't even think about doing.Brendon was extremely thorough and I got a full report on my Volvo which included a difficult to locate noise that turned out to be an exhaust leak,a readout of error codes and a repair of a leaking windshield washer tank.Thanks to everyone there.I'll be back for sure.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I'm so happy to have found a great mechanic! They are professional, thorough, and fair, and I will use them for any future needs. I have used Mark with Edison Auto service going on 4 years now. He has always done an amazing job on both my car and my husbands, as well as my dad's entire family's vehicles. I tend to wait until the last minute for oil changes and he always fits me in right away when I need it done, and is happy to educate me and answer my questions about the repairs instead of just giving me a price to fix it. Quotes are realistic, his final bill is always either at the quoted price or he has already called me to tell me there are changes. I highly recommend them!

Great people here! Don't have to worry about getting scammed. They take pictures of everything, and show you what is going on before they bill you. Don't know what more you could ask for in an auto repair shop. Thank you to all the staff in Fort Myers for taking care of my vehicle on time.
