I went to Toyota collision in November to have work done on the rear of my car. After I was made to put down an deposit they ordered parts and told me they would call me when the parts came in to schedule. January came around and they never contacted me so I reached out to them. They then notified me they had returned the parts because they couldn t remember why they were there and no one ever tried to reach me. They said they didn t know why they missed contacting me. I then asked for a refund of my deposit and it is now almost April and no one will fix my car or respond to giving me my deposit!!! Never use them. I can t believe I ve been out my deposit this long with no parts or work done on my car and no one returning my phone calls!!!

I am not a person to write reviews but here goes. I brought my vehicle in on October 31st. The original estimate for repair was lower than expected. My insurance company adjuster has been out twice raising the price each time. The vehicle is now at 17 thousand plus to be repaired. The insurance company said that it can be repaired but automation is not able or willing to do the repair. The 17,000 plus is enough to fix the truck according to my insurance company. I am now down 2 months of rental car payments which I am not being compensated for. My main complaint is lack of communication by autonation. Service has been bad with a horrible experience overall. If I could put negative stars, I would.

My 2024 RAV4 was unfortunately rear ended and I wanted it to go right back to Autonation (where I purchased it ) to get fixed . I am so glad I made that decision!From the outset , my adviser, Carmen Lopez, calmed me and told me of course they would take it and her communication with me throughout the process has been phenomenal.I had to bring in some paperwork for the paint and Carmen asked me if I wanted to see my car , which I said YES! It was really an emotional moment for me . Autonation truly worked magic and it looked exactly like nothing happened to it . I asked her how ?! . Everyone there is thorough with what they do and what you will get back is nothing but quality , plus they back what they do !I cannot recommend Autonation Toyota in Fort Myers enough . They treat you like family . The Collision Center really took care of me and I got my car back almost 3 weeks early ! Please don t quote me on that early for everyone , but I am really happy with the quality and communication I received .I want to give a huge shout out to Carmen Lopez , she is really a superstar communicating with me throughout the process and empathetic to my injury as a result of the accident . Thank you Carmen !!!I recommend this place for anything you may need from scratch repair to full on accidents . If I could give them ten stars I would !

They worked pretty good on the outlook of the car. But they look longer than the time I supposed to get the car back and I ended up paying rental out of my pocket for few days and I didn t receive any sort of compensation for that. Communication need to be improved and more clear with customer. On my front bumper body kit they didn t use enough clip because some of the parts are still loose. They worked on my ac and few days of getting the car back from them I realized the ac is hissing on lower temperature. Only reason of rating 3 star is they made the car exactly look like before which i never expected.Services: Electrical, Body & Trim, Air conditioning

This is the second time i brought my car to Auto Nation to be repaired. I am very happy with the repair they did, both times. Customer service is great, people were very friendly. Would definitely recommend them if you need repair work done.

I first made an appointment a month and a half in advance to repair a small 3-4 inch dent and a few deep scratches from the rear passenger side door of my 2020 Lexus NX300. It was anticipated to take about a week which was no problem since I had planned a week's vacation during that time. I dropped the car off on the Monday and they promised to keep me informed every step of the way. By Friday, I called for an update since I had to go back to work on Monday and had no car. I was told the car wasn't done yet and to anticipate a Tuesday completion date. My insurance company provided a rental vehicle for a few days. Tuesday arrived and I still hadn't received an update, so I called again. I was told the car was ready for paint and to anticipate another day. I extended my rental for another day. Wednesday arrived and no update, so I called again. This went on and on from day to day until I got so frustrated, I just asked how long I should plan on extending my rental. I was advised to extend it to the following Tuesday - which I did. The following Tuesday arrived and the car still wasn't done! By Friday that week, I was told they were cleaning it up but with Quality Control, it wouldn't be ready for pick up until Saturday morning. I came by Saturday morning and picked up my car. I inspected the work and it looked fine, so I left. When I got home and put the car in reverse to park, I noticed my backup camera screen was all greyed out. I discovered the camera itself was full of condensation! It was perfectly fine when I dropped it off three weeks ago. I ended up having to get a brand new camera under warranty from Lexus! There was no way I was going to take my car back to AutoNation to let them touch it ever again. Who knows when I'd ever get it back again? Long story short, it took them a total of three weeks to repair a small dent and some scratches, there were no proactive updates as promised and they trashed my backup camera - a $663 part!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

In 2021 I noticed my back panel license plate was not secured. When I moved to Florida and wanted to put on my new license plate, the panel fell off on the right side. Because of time and unsure where to go, I used duct tape to keep it on and avoid the issue. Events like Hurricane Ian, trying to determine where we would live, four deaths, and our son's schooling...lead to a path of, "I'll get to it.". Not! When I took my vehicle for an extensive; $8,400.00, simply put, my undercarriage needed to be rebuilt: brakes, struts, shocks, an assembly arm, rusted out bolts...the list ran a a gambit...I inquired with my tech about the back license panel and why was the back door not closing properly.Shantel introduced me to Carmen. Carmen was so kind and walked me through the entire process. My door; due to its age, 2007, was sloping to an angle. and because of that angle, I needed to replace the hinges. The license plate cover was simple; yet from my perspective...lots of duct tape...WAS THE YEAH MY TRUCK LOOKS NEW AGAIN MOMENT. Carmen and Shantel were incredible...Oh and because of the time it took to get my boy on the road again, I needed a rental. HOLY cats...they are amazing. I ended up negotiating a Tundra for the time and the staff in Rentals could not be more pleasant, helpful, and thorough. It made what I thought was a day to say goodbye to my vehicle, a rebirth in respect, confidence, and renewed faith in a car company. Thank you everyone for bringing new life to my 17-year-old baby boy. Michael

Carmen was a great person to work with at Autonation collision Center handled everything with the insurance company to get paid and they did a great job. Always recommend Carmen and automation collision center.

I stopped at front, 2 estimators and additional staff behind counter to answer phones, etc (not estimators) available, ZERO customers in the office area.I asked if possible to get an estimate, told I have to schedule appointment.I said "you have 2 estimators right there, no customers....couldn't one of them take pictures & jot a few notes down, get me written estimate within a week (that's what 2 other shops did)?Nope...and wait nearly 2 weeks for an appointment.I remember a friend brought her car here almost 2 years ago...they had her car for 17 weeks...never really communicated with her, we had to go there, different story every time.

I just got my 4runner back I am so happy with the outcome.. Had a mishape with the paint getting inside the vehicle had good communication with the manager and the problem was resolved! This collision center is a must go to... the staff is on point, keeps you updated with status of repairs and additional estimates. The technicians are very detaed oriented and do not like giving you your car ba k in an imperfect state! Shout out to the whole team, Carmen, Elizabeth, Betty, Damien and "the other guy" for explaining everything, giving me back Royce cleaner than what he was when I dropped him off and cat hing a $500 error!! You guys ROCK...from your favorite collision creator!

The Gm Ryan was very helpful and understanding with all of our questions. We came for my wife s car and he ended up taking a look at my car, since it had some superficial scratches. If you are looking for the worst case scenario, read my story to the end. I took my toyota rav 4 to the center to replace the door and a rear light caused by an accident. When I picked up the car, it had a low tire light on. I walked towards the person who was delivering it to me and showed him what I had found, and he told me that it was possibly just the change in weather. I trusted his words because it could make sense. I put air in the tires and the light disappeared the next day the light came back and I checked the tires and there were 3 spikes in two of the tires. I return to claim that they gave me the car with 3 lace-ups and they tell me that they don't work with that type of lace-up and that they can't do anything, the only thing they can do is give me a 20% discount for replacing the 2 tires. I spent 4000 us to fix my car + 535 to put new tires on it. I am very upset I do not recommend this center even to my worst enemy.

I will go into detail in another post as I get all the pictures. But to put it simply the management is inadequate to run a body shop that would be a level better then someone working out of their garage. It s been over a year and still trying to get everything completed from damage that occurred in Dec 2021. There is zero pride is craftsmanship and zero QA after work is completed . Betty was great which is another glaring indication that management has failed their customers. I wish I had listened to my insurance claims adjuster and avoided taking my car to the dealer. And ownership must not care about the quality of work or lack there of they are putting out. Nor do they realize how bad it s mismanaged. Never again will I take a vehicle to the Autonation Collision Center and I will warn family and friends to run the other direction.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I bought my 2021 new Tacoma at Autonation in Fort Myers. Just recently had a fender bender, required some new front end parts a new hood, and a new left fender or a repaired fender. The truck is paid for. So the insurance company sent me a check for the repair less my deductible. I wrote on the estimate that the insurance company had a guy give me that I wanted a Trd sport hood With a scope, OEM hood, and I gave the Toyota part number for it. Did the same for the front left orm fender. The hood costs the same as the SR5 hood. Service writer Betty told me she didn t want to do these changes and go to another body shop. They didn t want to work on my truck. That s terrible customer service! She never looked what I had written down for part numbers and changes. She accuse me of wanting aftermarket hood, and parts. She was just dead set on not changing anything. I took Betty s advice and went to Mike s body shop in Fort Myers and they re going to take care of me.I own three Toyotas I would never recommend anyone going to this body shop. They re pretty rough and closed minded.Steve IngleI would like to respond to the owners response for ME to call the General Manager? This Standard response to a poor review should tell anyone who has a problem with this shop - forget them go somewhere else! Why didn't the G M call me? you had all me info! I woud like the real owner to call me.Steve

My Toyota Prius got hit and I took it there for the body work. I wanted the repairs made with all genuine Toyota parts. That s why I took it there. At the time I was not living here full time. Well after getting my car back, the mist noticeable mess up was the driver window. They did not put a Toyota window in it and the tinting color was totally different the the other 3 windows. We had a couple other issues as well and had to have all fixed again when we got back to our home state. Very disappointed.Service: Body & Trim

Having my car damage by the hurricane was truly an unfortunate event I was happy to bring it the the shop;personally Mr.Chris the estimator did an amazing job keeping me in the loop about everything great business practice and an even better human being getting my car back in excellent condition was an even better joy they ve retain my services in the future if anything ever happens to my car I know the system rates them a 5/5 but they get a 10/10 in my book and the ladies in the inside were a great help too by the way. AutoNation Collision Center in Fort Myers was great to work with. Carmen Lopez did an excellent job of making sure that the job was done correctly, on time, and she kept us well informed at all stages of the repair.Autonation worked directly with our insurance company to adjust the estimates for work as the job progressed. The job was completed and turned out perfect. The vehicle looks just like new.Overall the service at AutoNation was professional and focused on customer satisfaction.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

We took in our vehicle because this was one of the repair shops that was recommended by our insurance company ,when we got there they said that they would send the quote to the insurance company . We were scheduled for two weeks out to allow the parts to come in. A few days before the repair I had not hear from them so I called numerous times, no one answered , I was trying to check if the parts were in .. to make sure that we did not rent a vehicle without the parts being ready no one answered I left a couple of voicemails. I then had to call my insurance the night before I was supposed to bring my vehicle in to know if it was even approved ,my insurance company said they had never received The estimate so they had to send him a complaint asking why it was taking them so long .Fast forward my insurance was finally the one to that contacted me to let me know that it was approved and when I called to reschedule the repair they booked me for four weeks out which is fine. Then ,they called me five minutes after and said never mind we just realized your vehicle is too tall and we will not be able to do it. Mind you this was a Ford transit 250 a work van. WHY DID THEY NOT SAY THIS WHEN THEY ESTIMATE WAS BEING PERFORMED RIGHT IN FRONT OF US? They not only made us wait over a month at the end we still have not fixed our vehicle and have to do this whole process all over again for lack of communication organization and just minimum care for customer

I recently had an accident and brought my vehicle to Toyota Collision center to be repaired. They estimated 4 days, brought the car in when they had the parts and it only took 3 days. Tim was great and so was Pam. Excellent customer service. Thank you for making a hard time easy.

I must say that the staff at Toyota are excellent people. True professionals. I was attended by salesman name Josh Longwell which I must say he was a very patient and humble person. He took his time showing my husband and I vehicles and explaining to us the difference from one to the other. But most of all he was all about us being excited and happy with the choice we make. Yes we definitely left there with a car and super excited with our choice. The financial person Christian was also an excellent person. He did all his best to help us. Thank you Toyota personnel! We really appreciate all you do!!

Tina Becker in the Service Department is Exceptional! She has taken care of my 2007 Prius almost since I bought it and now also my Highlander. She is always cheerful, very knowledgeable, and professional. She really cares about her customers and I would not want to ever go to anyone else. She has gone "above and beyond" on numerous occasions for me! Her exceptional customer service is the reason I purchased my Highlander there. I cannot recommend her more highly! Thanks Tina!!!

They fixed my car up to the point where you couldn't tell it was ever in an accident. Their repair good guys really know their stuff! However the people in the office didn't contact me a single time. I had to call in for every step and update. Overall I'm happy.
