Myself, husband and 17 year old stayed here for a couple days during spring break. It was a phenomenal hotel. The room was nice and the workers were nice. The day we left I was so busy making sure my husband and daughter had all their stuff, I forgot to empty my drawer! By the time I realized it, it was the next day and I was all the way down in key west. I called them and they did have my clothes. Thankfully I had enough to last the next two days before we went home. They mailed me my clothes (obviously I paid shipping which wasn't bad at all) and I got them a couple days later in the mail.

First stay at this location and in town for business. Perfect location to local restaurants and beach access. The photos posted on the website do not due justice for how nice and clean the resort and rooms are - highly recommend reserving a suite. Staff are extremely accommodating, and even let my party check out at the scheduled time and allowed us a day pass at the pool while we waited for our flight.

I just visited this location and would not normally leave a review. I am honored to be able to stay at a beautiful resort such as this. However , there was a woman speaking down to the help. I heard this while coming out of my room. Myself being from no money and my parents working to get me where I am, I have no tolerance for such behavior. It was one of the cleaning staff. And she was extremely helpful and friendly. There was no reason for this. Everything else was exceptional. I asked another employee the name of this person and it was Doris. Please treat the help with respect.

Great place directly on the beach with a lovely pool area. Our room had some issues: mostly with the A/C, but also a difficult toilet, a bedside outlet that didn't work, and floors that made our feet black. They worked hard to fix the A/C, third time was the charm. Cocktails were excellent at Cabanas and the one food item we had was good. Service was thorough but slow. Not sure if they were understaffed or just really busy. We were there the 2nd weekend of March, just before spring breaks. Amenities in the room included dishes and cookware, microwave, dishwasher, and small stove top. Bed was comfortable and I really enjoyed my morning tea on the balcony watching the ocean and listening to the wavesWalkability: Easy walk to the busier area with restaurants and entertainment.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Read the reviews first and CAREFULLY!We did not stay here but had booked a week. Website indicated that construction would be completed. Read reviews of others sharing that water would be shut off, loud construction noises, someone got stuck in the elevator and no restaurant, we cancelled 60 hours before arrival. Due to it being past their 72 hour rule, they charged us $700 for one night. Not to mention the webcam shows boarded up areas.Very disappointing. Added a photo from their beach cam and blocked out the people for privacy.

Such a great place, service so great, very nice and it was very quiet. They are renovating still from hurricane so bare with them, the storm was hard on everyone and we are all still rebuilding. Rooms were amazing and the view is top notch! Will definitely go back! Rooms: The deluxe suites are awesome with stovetops to make meals yourself and it was very quiet. View is amazing!Nearby activities: Restaurants close by and convenient to walk to

Seemingly the only large hotel functioning off-season on the hurricane (Ian?) ravaged Fort Myers Beach, the Diamond Head seems to keep it together pretty well. Rooms are clean and nice, the staff is very helpful. Restaurant is large with windows overlooking the beach. Food and service were good, eventhough we were the only ones dining, off-season, in the middle of the day.Walkability: During warmer weather, the strip is very walkable and make-shift businesses popping up along the way. DiamondHead is ON THE BEACH, and a short walk to other standing businesses.Food & drinks: Very Good

Fantastic resort. Perfect location in fort Myers beach. The room was clean, comfortable, well stocked. Everything you could ask for. Staff was friendly and responsive. Great pool with a very convenient bar and they serve really great cocktails. The restaurant also has great food. You wouldn t need to leave the resort if you didn t want to. They are really bouncing back from the hurricane. There is still minor construction happening but they are managing it well and it didn t interrupt our stay. We will definitely be back.

We had a day to kill due to an early checkout from our house rental nearby and a late flight. For a very modest fee we got day passes and had a nice day at the pool, lunch, bar etc while our bags were stored. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The pool area is very nice and the beach is right there. At this point there is of course recovery and reconstruction going on but that's the situation in FMB in general. Not sure if our travels will bring us back to FMB but if they do I would not hesitate to stay here, based on our daytime experience.

Very nice pool and hot tubs. The restaurant inside was nice, good food and friendly staff. It was nice that they had happy hour.Rooms: Comfortable king bed, nice bathroom, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner and soap dispenser in shower. Kitchenette with small fridge and dishwasher. Sitting area to watch TV. Good outside balcony, just be careful of high step in and out of balcony.Nearby activities: Restaurants and shops.Walkability: Most shops you could walk to, unless you would have a disability.Food & drinks: Lunch and dinner at the restaurant, plus happy hour, disappointed at no breakfast.

Perfect locatiation in beautiful Fort M beach. The beach is beautiful. The beach bar was closed beeing restored after the hurricane so a little short of offers and social area. Good parking and easy acess to elevators. We tried too go in the cantina restaurant, but decided to walk to one of the locals the first night. Think better offer for restaurants when you use a car.Got a great view from our room, but had to change to a room with less good view since the noise from the ventilation and keeping doors open, or sitting on the balcony was not possible.Clean and good space in rooms. No daily cleaning until you have stayed 5 nights. We stayed 2 nights.

We really enjoyed our stay here for four days, especially the patio area to relax on after walking the beach, shelling, and swimming. Loved how hot the water was in the shower too and the kitchen was great complete with dishes, cups, silverware, and utensils. Great customer service too. Restaurants and good food options all around us kept us fed, full, and happy. Considering what the employees, the hotel, and area have been through the slow elevators, maintenance work noise, and ongoing recovery were minor inconveniences.

We had a terrible experience at this hotel. Due to weather issues, the four of us arrived late and were met with unfriendly front staff. Upon entering our room, we noticed that the temperature was the same as outside, despite the air conditioning running. We reported the issue to the front desk but were told that most rooms were like that. They eventually moved us to two different rooms until we found one that was cooler.During the night, we heard loud noises outside our door and even thought there was a break-in happening next door. It turned out to be the fire department trying to investigate a smoke alarm. This caused a lot of disturbance and made it difficult to sleep. When we reported the incident to the management, they were dismissive and did not show any concern for our well-being. They only refunded us the resort fee after we insisted. The hotel had several issues and was not well-maintained. They charged us more than what was agreed upon and refused to rectify the situation. We strongly advise against staying at this hotel and suggest they put up signs to warn potential guests.

The people that worked there were so friendly and helpful. They were still under construction after being slammed by Hurricane Ian last year. But we had a lovely week there.Food & drinks: We ate three meals there, and all the good and service we had was good.
