Had another shop damage my wheel when replacing tires. Erik managed to fit my car in, got parts in the same day, and was finished on time (and at the price he had estimated). He also took the time to explain everything, even showing me the old parts he had taken off my car. Will definitely be sending people here.

I have a 1966 VW Beetle and I found Eric few months ago and I am very happy with his service, Very HONEST Guy! Honesty is the most important thing that you need from a mechanic, he got my respect on that! I do not trust anyone else touch my vintage beetle beside him.Thank Eric for all your help!! appreciate it!

I found my new mechanic! Erik is knowledgeable and super friendly. He won't talk to you like you are an idiot like other mechanics will. Prices are fair and work is beyond what he first estimates. Plus his estimate is his word. He tells you a price and that's what you pay. No surprise charges when you come to get you're vehicle. Definitely going back. Plus Wendy is a delight to talk to as well!Services: Tires, Electrical

Erik is by far the best and most honest mechanic I have met. As a woman, I am used to bringing my car to in for maintenance and they try to sell me EVERYTHING under the sun, because I am female and don't know cars. But I do know that I have found a real gem in Martenson Performance. I won't go to anyone else. Eric Martenson is the one! Extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly and reasonable. It s not often you find a mechanic like Eric. Having an older car makes finding a mechanic even more difficult but Eric s experience and knowledge were super apparent and very comforting. What s more though was the result. I drove in with a 25 year old car that was shaking like a category 5 hurricane, and drove away with a car that was silent and felt brand new again. It was my first time with Martenson performance, but I will definitely be a lifelong customer. Two thumbs up and a big thanks to these guys!

I had a great experience at this shop. My car was diagnosed quickly. The repairs were performed as agreed at an affordable price. Due to a construction issue on the block, power was cut to all the businesses. Despite it being the evening before Thanksgiving, Erik waited for the power to be restored and completed the repair on my car. So thankful to have my car repaired and working for the holiday. U can not find a better, skilled & honest mechanic than Erik Martenson. His specialty is Volkswagen since he was 18years old. His prices are far less than taking your vehicle to a dealership. He works on all makes & models of vehicles. Once you bring your vehicle to him for repair, you will probably return & refer your friends & family to him. I would give him 10 stars if I could.

Erick is amazing. He takes great care of my vintage VW. He is fair, reasonable, and easy to work with. I highly recommend him. Thankfull to have found someone so knowledgeable to work on Kombi Van.

Been going to Eric for close to a year now. He s always been super honest and reliable. Quick turn around time, most of the time he s waiting on me to come pick up my Volkswagen. 2 different times he s helped me with a tow and fixed me right up. A few days for a transmission job when my car got water in my transmission after a bad flood. This past time, he got me a tow from North Palm Beach to Fort Lauderdale without costing me an arm and a leg. Super friendly, both him and his girlfriend. She gave me a ride home when my transmission was being repaired. That s service. Extremely knowledgeable and well mannered. Honest as anyone could be. Haven t let anyone work on my car since I met him through a trusted friend, highly recommend him to anyone with a car and especially anyone with a Volkswagen from personal experience since he he worked at Gunther for years as a master mechanic. No ones ever been able to figure my car out, and Eric could figure out what it was before he even put his hands on the car based on my description.

Erik knows his stuff and if he doesn t he does his best to point you in the right direction. Very busy shop but that goes to show how good he is at what he does. Affordable prices and a hard work ethic makes Martenson performance the place to take your vehicle, specializing in European but works on any make or model.

Erik is the ONLY reason my VW is still around. Has fixed several things on my CC. Had my car towed in once for what I thought was a blown transmission. When I called to check status he said a hose just popped off, it was fixed and I could come get car. Went to pick up and wasn't charged! Very skilled, and HONEST.

Best mechanic by far in South Florida. Eric is very knowledgeable and explains the situation and a solution to the mechanical issue you are having. But most importantly he is fair with his prices!! I strongly recommend that you have your car checked out by Martenson performance shop before going anywhere else!!

I had Eric install a new transmission in my vw Jetta. So far it s been running good with no problem. My car doesn t sound like it s dying anymore.

Eric is outstanding with his work. Very knowledgable and the sole definition of a trustworthy mechanic. He's helped me build and transform my VW Jetta, even taken tons of time to teach me and help me order parts. Extremely friendly, fast/top-quality work, and unbeatable pricing. New to the area and needed to find a shop for support. I needed an oil change on a 2018 Subaru Forrester. I called in the am - they got me in the same day; I was in and out in 45 minutes. I will be returning with my nicer vehicle when servicing is needed.

I can't say enough good things about this man.He saved me a ton of money when the dealer Gunther VW was telling me I needed a new engine.Always get a second opinion dealers only care about profits not people.I know he made a customer for life

I took my car in for what I thought was a leaky water pump, and it turned out to be cracked coolant pipe. Eric was professional, courteous and honest when it came to the diagnosis. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. I could have saved money by just having the pipe changed, but I decided to go ahead with the pump anyway as a preventative maintenance. It would save me lots of headaches in the future.

The quickest, most honest mechanic in Broward county and possibly North America. I walked in there blabbing about bad bearings and he proved me wrong by pulling a small piece of metal out of my emergency brake system all while showing me how to do it. With prices and quality like that I don't see how he hasn't taken over the town.

Great local independent shop, convenient location, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and fair prices. Great find, I trust they ll take great care of my Audi for me here forward. If you re sick of the stealership or the other guys, give Erik a call, he ll shoot you straight.
