Met him at the Dunkin Donuts. Took my carburetor overnight and I had it back to me the next day. Installed after two minutes of idle adjustment motor ran perfect. I am dropping my 2nd one off today. Sam might be good at fixing some carburetors, but he sure hasn't proven that to me. I brought him my 1963 Carter AFB 4 barrel with a hard starting problem. He refuses to work on the carburetor in the car, ONLY on his workbench. The problem only occurs when the car has been sitting un-started for 3 to 4 days or more. Once started, it will restart perfectly every time.After getting back to carburetor from him, the problem was exactly the same. When I told him the problem still existed he reluctantly asked me to bring it back again. When I went to pick it up the carb second time he wanted to charge me AGAIN. I had to remind him that he did not fix it the first time. once again the carburetor exhibited the same exact problem. I called him back once again and he refused to look at it again, said he had no idea what the problem was. Time for Sam to retire, he may have been good at one time, BUT HE IS NO LONGER
