The front counter person was so kind and helpful. I love it when a company has great customer service . A kind word and a smile, makes a bad day so much better. It truly makes a world of difference in someone's life, and I am going through so much more than my car. I think her name is Michelle.

Given a price on tires and an alignment and tie rod ends. Got a call from the lady saying she made a mistake and her price was off, so it would be another 200$.I asked if we could split the difference for another 100$ since I needed my car to go to work and the business should make any mistake right. She agreed and was apologetic about the whole thing.I get there and her husband is working and starts screaming at me at the top of his lungs, says he refuses to give me my car and that I am a scumbag who takes advantage of women. I calmly explained the situation but he kept screaming and was completely unreasonable and unprofessional, screaming at me in front of other customers. Acting like a small child. The work wasn t even done right.Nobody ever go here even if it s the last place on earth

They did a Great job on my auto, installing shocks, & oil change, & gave me a very reasonable price!!THANKS to Evan & employees!! Will be back if in need of any other necessary repairs needed!

Long story short- My husband had to replace the motor in his work vehicle. His usual mechanic couldn't do it and other places had very long wait time's. Beau and his crew were able to get a motor in a few days and at a reasonable price. We decided A1 was going to be our go to for both our vehicles. Well... The same day we picked up my husband's van my car started overheating. Back to A1 we went and they did not disappoint. Highly recommend.OOPS! So, I just accidentally "liked" a negative review. I wish there was a way to undo actions.

I change from a 5 to a 1. Not just because the owners wife was rude but also because they up the cost of the repair $30 above the quote without discussing it with me first. Now I find out a token was taken out of my vehicle. It s not worth a lot but it meant a lot to me.

Traveling through town. Call to make an appointment they don't take appointments. You have to drop the car off and leave it. No good when you're traveling. Too bad they don't take appointments. Guess it doesn't make a difference how good they are if they can't look at it

If I could give 10 stars I would. Honesty and integrity is how I would describe my experience with A1 Automotive Center. My truck 2012 Ford had a problem, it was a pretty big problem too. Shane,and Beau took their time and worked through it. The outcome was phenomenal! Really yall, these guys are great.

My father has come to Beau for years, and recommends to anyone that asks. Now I see why, and I also have gotten my work done through Beau. He is very honest, upfront and his integrity as a master mechanic shows in his work and business ethic (which is hard to come by these days with most mechanic shops). Great mechanics here, been with them for a year. Kept my cars well-maintained and safe.Update: Been using A-1 for probably 15 years now. At their old Tavares location and their current one in Eustis.The owner is always honest and upfront with what is going on with your car and if you low on funds (which is how my husband and I were most of our early adult life) he'd prioritize what needed to be fixed the most.He's kept our cars running probably a lot longer than they should have ( I have a Dodge Caliber with 215k on it he and his mechanics have kept running along with my newer car)They are a great, fair small business. They are really busy because of this. So if you call and don't get through wait a bit and call them back. An honest shop is hard to find and this is that. They stand by their work as well.

Beau, the owner, is Awesome! He has taken GREAT care of me and my family and all of our vehicles. He will tell me if something is urgent or if it can wait a while, and I feel totally comfortable sending my wife there alone.I recommend him to everyone and am thankful for their service, knowledge, and expertise!

I was recommended to this place by my aunt a couple of years when I went into an auto repair store and they were charging me outrageous for a new compressor and took it here to A1 Automotive for a second opinion and it turned out to not even need a new compressor but and easy fix. From then on, I new they were the one!!! The owner and his wife and staff are amazing.Thank you for all that you do and being open! :)Service: Auto maintenance

The owner, Beau is one of the most honest mechanic I have found. He is very reasonably priced. Explains in detail what is being done to your car. Has a great team. Would highly recommend A1 to anyone. Thank you for all your help Beau.

Definitely go to this place! I got my repairs done here and it was literally thousands cheaper than multiple other places I called. Quality work as well. I had a head replaced,water pump and spark plugs done.

Beau has always been exceptionally fair and honest with me and every person I have referred to his shop. His work is of high quality and is always done in an efficient manner to get you back on the road as quickly as possible. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Just like most mechanics, will jump at the chance to over charge & rip you off. They'll do good by you tho the first couple times, tryin to get your repeat business. & sure, I get that they gotta make sure they stay open, that they're making a living.. etc etc. Whatever. Doesn't mean you take advantage of people who trust you to do good, honest work for them..

Time = $$$. My truck was swerving due to a damaged rack-n-pinion, and the timing belt was out of time. I took my vehicle for repair, and required a rental vehicle in the meantime. I expected 5 days, and got it back in 2. Saved 3 days of car rental. My vehicle is running great. I'm a satisfied customer.

My wife and I have used them several times. They are one of those rare mechanic places that are honest. They will not overcharge you, they do great work, and are nice people. I highly recommend them.
