A great small business I can trust and am I'm happy to support. Prices are fair, people are kind, techs are honest. And not that it matters, but I appreciate that the reading material in the waiting room isn't a bunch of trash magazines-- books, psalms, Good Housekeeping, etc. It's a nice touch.

We were traveling with a trailer and thought we would be broke down on the side of the highway on the way home. They were amazing and very pleasent to deal with, they squeezed us in the next day. Can't say thank you enough. Made it all the wayback to Ontario and is still running like a charm.

What a great place to have you car serviced. Mary will set you up with her sweet smile and engaging personality. She pronounces BOB backward, so be prepared. Work was completed same day. Will use again.

I am in love with this place, I went to have the safety feature that I thought it was put on my tires removed, and John one of the technicians was extremely honest with me and told me that there was none, therefore, there is no service to be done. As someone who knows nothing about cars, after another dealership told me they were on there and wanted to charge an arm and a leg to have them removed, im speechless by the honesty and touched, thank you team and I will be bringing future business to you.

Buick Motor Company had a motto "ONLY THE BEST IS GOOD ENOUGH" Same could be said for John & the guys & gals at Campbell's. I have been going there for the past 20 years and have always found them to be "THE BEST"Donn DickersonService: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Don t recommend this place, people are rude and said nothing was wrong with the car even though I confirmed with two other mechanic shops before coming here. All I was looking for was a shop that would have the right tools. Seemed to me like they didn t even spend time to look at the vehicle. 1/10

We towed our daughters car to FL from MI and when we took it off the trailer it kept overheating. We called Campbells and he got us in right away and installed a new radiator and thermostat the sane day! We were so grateful to have her back on the road by the end of the day!Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

I'm not exactly happy with the service I received, brought my vehicle in for a brake line replacement, I already knew the part was not available through OEM GM, I offered to buy the brake line through an online seller but the shop told me they make their own brake lines. After getting my vehicle back I noticed the brake line had been bent by hand and a pipe bender hadn't been used, I have kinks in the brake lines. For them charging $130/hr for labor I would expect better. Also, they said it took 3 hours of labor to fix this, I don't believe that. Almost $500 to replace 2 small brake lines that are kinked and a brake line flush. So I will elaborate after you tried to bash me with a response that is not at all professional, 2 months after I got this work done you decide to respond with a passive aggressive message. So to answer your question, no the brakes did not end up working after I had to hit them hard on the highway for a sudden stop situation, the brake pedal went soft, I also had multiple friends/mechanics say that this was extremely unprofessional and poorly executed. After I damn near hit another vehicle I had another mechanic replace the brake lines with the proper equipment. Now I feel confident that I can stop during emergency situations. I hate to have to write a review like this, but you ended up putting my life in danger.

Lady at the front desk is rude as ever. Just called to see if I could get an estimate and to see what day I could possible bring my car. Ended up snapping and hanging on the chick cause she needs an attitude adjustment. The way she talks to customers is unpleasant and started to make me act out of character and talk back to her the same way. I needed a lot of fluids changed in my car. And this shop does a good job because I had my car brakes done here. I wanted my fluids to be done here. But after the phone call I just made to see when I could come in, i might never come back just how she spoke to me on the phone. Btw if you look in the reviews there s mad complaints about Donna?? Which I m assuming is who picked up the phone when I called. For future knowledge maybe hire another person that wants to be there or talk to Donna cause she can def make you lose people that have been going to your shop for years. I ve always talked good about the place and still will but that front lady chick ughhhhh

Celeste really worked hard to make sure that we were taken care of. Incredibly informative and helpful. Even when her shop wasn't prepared for the vehicle she worked to get another person to be able to help.

Called tuesday to speak to the owner. He tells me come in next day at 2 and when I went in to get a second opinion for my brakes. The lady was super rude because she knew nothing about my coming in and it felt like I was bothering her. Maybe because I interrupted her ice cream break She asked if I was leaving my car. I said no I just need a second opinion so I can see what s going on and what I need to do. She reluctantly took my keys. They check my car and she comes back 15 minutes later stating I need brakes and rotors and it was $425. I said ok well that s not what the other shop said. As I was waiting the owner came in and said no no brakes the other guy was looking at something and thought you needed new rotors so I said ok how much. He tells me $200 for new brakes. And I said ok I can bring it in Friday. I asked for an estimate and this lady gave me the ugliest look and said rudely I thought you were going back to the other place and we don t give you that until the job is done well no that would be a bill an estimate is what s given as an agreement on what the customer would pay. Long story short 2 reasons I didn t go back on Friday was because of how rude she was and because they refused to give me an estimate. And before you go commenting that I ve never been a customer and my facts are unclaimed. The reason I have not been and never will be a customer is because customer service is seriously lacking. You can t pick and choose who you re nice to that s how you lose business. But I m not sure that matters to you. You really should get someone with a better personality

Went in for an oil change and asked for a quote for labor only. I had my own oil and filter. At the counter I was greeted by a very unfriendly middle aged women that came across like I was a bother and she was doing me a favor. But once I got past her I was treated like a paying costumer. The young man that did the work was fast and thorough. And the older gentleman that took my money was polite and accommodating. Would have given five stars if not for the initial response in the front office.Service: Oil change

Super disappointed with this place. Totally ripped me off (assuming because they saw I had a nice car and figured they could). $150 for a full synthetic oil change and another $150 for a tire rotation and cabin air filter change. I would have been out the door for the same price and services with my high end dealership. And my car would have been washed/included a rental for the day. I also dropped the car off at 9:30am and was told it would be ready by noon or 1pm. When I showed up at 1:40pm, they admitted they hadn t even looked at my car yet! So then they said it would be another 30 minutes... nearly two hours later I got my car back. It s just unprofessional. They could have at least called to let me know so I didn t have to sit in their lobby for two hours. Will not be returning and will be discouraging anyone in the area from using them.

Got my air conditioning vents repaired with a newly installed vent mode actuator for half of the quoted price of a National auto chain repair facility. Got this done on the same day I brought it in without an appointment. The moral of the story is that it pays to do business with a local small business. I will be doing business with Campbell Automotive again. I thank them for such good work.Service: General repairs & maintenance

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. When I tell you management is extremely rude and unprofessional, that is an understatement. I called to bring in my car and leave it over night which they replied they would look at in the morning and to leave my keys in the drop box but gave very little information on where that drop box was located. I ended up hiding my keys under a child s car seat and leaving my car unlocked and calling and leaving a voicemail stating the location of the keys and to text or email me if needed because I will not be able to get to my phone to call during work hours. The next day, there is no call back, so I call first thing in the morning and the woman who answered the phone gave me a attitude right off the bat saying they had been trying to contact me and it kept going to voicemail (as I said it would as I m working!!) I told her that is why I offered the email or text suggestion or at the very least to leave a voicemail which was not done. Then she said there were no keys in my car so they were unable to get into it so they obviously never listened to the voicemail I sent. When she finally stopped talking over me she realized I was right and they keys were right where I stated they would be all along. My car ended up staying there all weekend with no follow up calls or updates. I had to keep hounding them to get any information out of them and when they finally told me the issues they literally said, everything is wrong with your car and that it would cost about 2000 to fix my car. I ended up deciding it wasn t worth that value and that I would trade it in instead and when I told them that I wanted to pick up my car that s when the real bullying started. They told me I was stupid to trade it in as I would be losing money and continued to talk over me, belittle me, and try to sway my decision, until finally my boyfriend stood up for me and shut them up after some choice words were said. I ended up storming out of that place as I have never in my life been treated so rudely by professionals before they even gave my keys back because again they did not want to help me. Mind you I was charged over 100 $ just for them looking at my car and bullying me.If you like over priced; rude service, with no updates or follow up then Campbells auto is the place for you !Service: General repairs & maintenance

I came there with a tail light out, a simple fix. I leave and was told it would be a wiring issue. I asked how much it would cost. I was told the labor would be an hour and the part would be $20. A whole day later they call me to pick up the car and it was done. I got there and was told it took 3 hours for them to not fix the problem but for them just to "make it work for now." I was charged over $300 for a tail light being broken! Their fix caused a different problem. My interior light doesn't come on! I took it to my mechanic back home and they fixed the bigger problem that was created in a short time. I wouldn't be as disgruntled if the mechanic who "fixed it" gave an explanation to why it was that price and why it took so long. When he gave his whole speech about it, I asked one question and he rudely replied, "hello were you even listening to me?" Bad service, over priced, and I felt I was taken for a sucker.

Highly recommend Campbell Auto Center! I was on a three hour trip headed toward Ft. Lauderdale. My car started overheating on I-75, so I pulled into Campbell s since it was the first place I came to. They sent a mechanic out right away and diagnosed the problem. They got it all fixed up in just a couple hours and it was actually sooner than the amount of time they quoted, at a very reasonable price. I was back on the road and on to my vacation thanks to their great service!Service: General repairs & maintenance

These guys are very good and honest. After my wife being told at a Tire Center that she needed a $1,200 brake job, Campbell checked it out, and found that my rotors were fine and the pads were at 50% or better all the way around. They could have easily taken the short money and told me I needed the brake job. They also took quick care of a transmission fluid and oil change. Earned my business!

Prior to having our daughters car towed to Campbells auto repair shop, I called them to make sure they could work on a Fiat 500. The lady who answered the phone (Donna) stated they could indeed work on Fiats and to bring it in and they will check the car out. The initial diagnosis from one of their mechanics was a blown head gasket. The second diagnosis was no it is not a head gasket it is a dropped cylinder and losing compression. The third diagnosis was the car needs a new engine. I simply had the car towed back to my hometown and within five minutes, no exaggeration, I had the car running. No blown head gasket, no drop cylinder and the engine runs perfectly. The car was returned to me with all of the airbox parts, spark plugs and coil pack just thrown in the front seat of the car. This is incompetence at its best. By far, the lady answering the phone, Donna, is one of the most rudest person s I have ever encountered. I will never recommend anybody to use Campbell s auto center.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

When new tires installed in 2019 (from different shop), they reversed threaded two lug nuts on one tire. Did not notice until having tires rotated during routine oil change. Needed new studs and lug nuts. Campbell's got me in within 24 hours, job completed by noon. Fair and honest price, friendly service, and easily accessible location (right on 41 in Estero). Will return for other services, as needed.Service: Tires

Moved down here from upstate New York and haven't really had the best experiences dealing with local agencies and their "special" customer service. I needed an oil change and tire rotation on my 2010 Ford Sport Trac. Didn't know anyone here so I read the reviews at Campbell's Auto and being that they were close I called. I got a very pleasant, friendly receptionist that made me an appointment the next morning. I took it in first thing and before I got back home, the mechanic, also pleasant and friendly, called me to say he strongly suggested I replace the tires. Now most people would say he was trying to soak me but I knew they weren't in great shape and after driving down here from NY and the heat here I agreed. They gave me a quick, reasonable price( way more reasonable than up north!)Work done the same day( up north our dealersship would give you the estimate then tell you they didn't have time to do it the same day...)When I went to pick it up they were so nice and the tires drive great! I asked them for a keychain because my maiden name is Campbell also, they gave me a cool car tag and calendar! I am a very happy customer that will go back and suggest you all try them out! Great people great service! Go to Campbell's Auto, Estero! Thank you!
