Changes the Coil Overs on my truck. I couldn t of did the job without the Shop personnel. Friendly and willing to advise and help me, in addition they had all the tools needed to do the job. Saved me over 200 bucks doing it myself.

This place is heaven for a car guy like me, they have all the tools and knowledge to help you out and get whatever you want done, very reasonable prices , and the most friendly staff you ll meet. I came in late one day getting ready for a really long road trip needing tires installed and they stayed after their shift to help me, can t thank/recommend them enough.Services: Tires, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Best place to be your own mechanic and ensure things are done right. A/C service is a very fair deal and you'll learn something at the same time. They've got all the specialty tools and staff is fantastic to help you when you're stuck on something.

Shop isn t big enough to support the base, people working here are almost always rude or they just ignore you all together. Made an appointment to have some tires mounted and balanced but when I showed up the dude that does it went to autozone. Checked back in 30 minutes later to find out he had gone to Pensacola so I had to make another appointment. Having used hobby shops at 3 other bases this one is by far the worst.

Nice to have a place that military can fix their vehicle. TJ was a lot of help and I saved probably $1k on changing my front brake pads, rotors and bearings on my GMC Sierra.

This place has had its ups and downs. Its hard when a shop like this changes hands, remember its as much your jop to keep the shop clean as it is the staffs. Have respect for the tools and equipment and if you don t know what your doing ask for help. In a place like this you'll find a lot more help if you remain humble and accept that you may not always know the most.

The shop has plenty of bays, tools and equipment to get the job done. The staff is friendly and professional. So thankful the Hobby Shop is still around. I hope it's made permanently available.

After calling multiple places around FWB, Niceville, and Valparaiso for a tire replacement, I finally decided to give the Hobby Shop a call. They were extremely nice and helpful and I was able to get in the same day. Everywhere off-base had no appointments or appointments later in the day. I'm glad I called the Hobby Shop for help.

The tools boxes at each lift are very slim have to keep going back to service desk area to retrieve common tools

Well staffed. Nice tool sets. Have lots of bays to work on your car from. Went to change tires and was able to mount them after which they took care of balancing. Reasonably priced as well though they don't have tire disposal. Will be using them again. Need to be open on Sunday as some people only have their weekends to work on their cars

Yes, it is open Sundays.....I use this facility every time my cars need a service, or repairs, or I feel like doing upgrades The hoists are in good working order and the bays have basic tool boxes. Specialist tools are available behind the help desk and there are also wheel bearing presses, coil compression stands and much more to use.Bays are available for $12/hr +tax. Bays have 2 posts or 4 post hoists.If you don't wish to do the work yourself, the staff will do it at a very reasonable cost (I just had two tires replaced, I bought them online and brought them in.)If you need parts as you are working on your car, they can get a parts delivery to the workshop on the day!If you get stuck doing the job yourself, the staff are there to give you a few tips to help you get through the job.I'm an ex mechanic and this is an outlet I use to get away from the stresses in life. I'll sometimes come here to replace stuff on my car that doesn't even need replacing....joking....maybe

Great place to work on and perform maintenance on your own vehicles if you have access on base. Staff is always helpful. Maybe oneday the wood shop will be opened back up?

There are lifts for $12hr, hand tools, tire machines, oil/antifreeze disposal for free, and apparently they have knowledgeable staff that will help you out if you want. I don't know. I'm an auto tech., so I never asked. So take your vehicle in and do it yourself or with the help of the friendly folks at the shop!

The workers can be extremely helpful. I had to change my intake manifold gasket, and one mechanic gave me a hand with it. They also have instruction sheets to print off for every job you can think of for every car you can think of. It can get pretty busy, so there is sometimes a wait to get a stall. And it is more expensive than other hobby shops I've been at, but they do have a plethora of tools.

The guys there are very helpful and old school, which is something I like. The employees are very friendly and the bay rental prices are good as well. They also have a new tire and balance machine.

I'm not a mechanic but I've learned a great deal from the folks at the Base Auto Hobby Shop personnel. Their entire staff members are experts. They're helpful, friendly and courteous. I'll always support that facility!

Came here with a flat tire, got an incredibly low price for a good service. If you're on base and get a flat, definitely come here.

The gentlemen at the Eglin Auto Hobby Shop are great. Having never changed brakes before, the guys helped me through the process. Saved my daughter $300 by doing the brakes ourselves on her mini copper.
