I have been a customer of the "place next door" to this store for many years, but when the "place next door" couldn t help me with the battery I needed, I walked from there and discovered this store to be very up-to-date with competitively priced and available parts. Here, at Advance Auto Parts, they were very helpful,friendly,courteous, and I saved about $90 !

Do Not assume that they will offer you the correct battery.I brought my old battery along with me for comparison. The idiot behind the counter tried to sell me a 12 volt battery for a 18 volt electrical system!

Use to shop next door and got tired of being ignored or treat liked a burden . Stopped by here twice this week and was greeted at the door by both Rick and Mike each time They walked me to what I was looking for and took the time to explain how it worked instead of just pointing and saying i dunno .Felt like I was hanging out with the guys will be my #1 store no longerBoy how fast a store can go down hill . The new manager is very unprofessional and rude has no clue what she is talking about .Tries to sneak warranty plans on to your total . Be careful . Rick's gone Mike and Jason are the only originals left . If they leave what once was a great and informative place to shop will go down hill like the shop next door.

I bought a headlight there and about the warranty on the headlight in case it popped out again. Well it went out again and I went in there and they don't even show a record where I bought it but I didn't have the receipt I do have the receipt in my files I will dig it up but isn't it funny how they show no record of anything after you pay for something and I did put it on my credit card so I have proof I did it it seems like anything under warranty in there they can't find. It's such a rip-off but don't worry I won't buy anything else from Advance Auto Parts ever again and I own a lot of vehicles that need parts

Had my AC Compressor lock up on me and Oscar went above and beyond to identify what was the problem was and ended up identifying what the problem was and recommended a local shop to help fix. I ended up buying a AC kit and a couple pulleys and it all works great now. A++

I went to the new smyrna Beach store today and they said they couldn't put my battery in my car just wasn't helpful at all so I went to the edgewater store and they have this guy that works there named Jason s he was great he did my battery for me with no problem need more guys like him great guy thank you Jason s

They have terminal connectors for batteries...if you were curious. And though I think both Walmart AND The Home Depot have Lucas injector cleaner for less money, Advance Auto Parts offers a 10% discount to all military and veterans...Oscar one of the managers knew to apply my discount before I could even ask him too! Well done sir-FANTASTIC customer service!

Had just the best experience yesterday at Advance Auto Parts in Edgewater, Was having trouble with my truck radio and both Kevin and Jason went above and beyond to assist me. Highly recommend Advance Auto Parts in Edgewater! They are the best.

HUGE thank you to Carl for the stellar service today when I was in a huge bind. My brake line went out and I barely made it into the parking lot. I went in to just buy brake fluid and Carl asked that I please not drive the truck. I just figured I could add brake fluid like you add oil and call it a day. He took the time to explain the closed system and that there had to be a leak somewhere. I bought the brake fluid, thinking it would at least get me the couple of blocks home. When I came out, I could see the brake fluid pouring out under my truck. There is no telling what would have happened had I tried to drive my vehicle! And, I don t know that that I would have been paying that much attention, had Carl not urged me to not drive the truck home. Carl helped me find someone that could take care of it in the morning and I am thankfully home, safe and sound. Jason was also a gem, helping and keeping me company while I waited for a diagnosis and a ride. I usually go to a different auto parts store, but I will never go anywhere else again, thanks to these guys. You were literally and figuratively life savers today and I can t thank you enough!!

I came in for a battery check, got ignored after asking for help, when I finally was helped they said they would install the battery then proceeded to checkout 6 other customers while I waited for my service. Customers that weren t even in the store until after my purchase had been complete. That s garbage customer service. You don t do half a transaction then start checking out other customers

I've repeatedly bought parts here and they have been defective, either noticeable when purchased or after doing the job, putting the part in, putting back together and it doesn't work, leaks, etc. Try to get a replacement part but even with the receipt they will not give you one unless you have the defective one to give back. Well, all fine and well if it's not your only source of transportation and the vehicle won't run without the part and you live 40 minutes from the store and have no way to get back. The amount of business we have given them over the past six+years and they can't do it for a $35part!?! I am not able to buy another one as I am sitting in their parking lot with no way to get anywhere with it leaking as bad as it is other than trying to limp it home, then what. I don't have anyone that can spend over 2&1/2hours r driving me to and from the store or that can wait the 4+hours it took the first time to replace iy. Now have to spend another 4+hours doing the job again!! All because of them selling defective parts. Tell me who has that kind of time to waste doing the same job twice, not to mention paying for the same part twice!! Wow, talk about treating your customers justly&fairly, not this place. Will avoid using them anytime ever again and advise anyone else that has to buy parts to do the same. Or, proceed at your own risk, you will lose time and money, just know you were forewarned when it happens to you

Great prices friendly sales technicians! If their part is defective they always are good to replace even if 1 year old. Tip: buy the store brand parts and ask about the warranty because lifetime replacement is offered on some of Advanced Auto brand replacement parts.

Always friendly courteous, and helpful staff. Purchased Die hard batteries, spark plugs, and auto air conditioning replacement refrigerant. I highly recommend this store.

Just stopped in to buy J.B. Weld. Was told they don t sell anything gasoline resistant, and then I found it by myself. I figured I might as well go ahead and replace my back wiper while I m here since they could at least do that for me. Bought the wiper blade and the guy came out and said, I ve never seen this before. Really? Never seen a 2017 GMC before? Not even once? Educated people do better in life. Please educate your people in how to ask a manager for help next time. But it s ok, I got this just like I got my JB weld!!!

Terrible. Got there today they close at 4. Pulled into the parking lot a minute before 4 after I called 7 mins prior saying I'm on my way to pick up parts that I ordered. A guy was standing outside when we pulled in and he rushed inside and locked the door. Not happy. They lost a customer once I get these parts i ordered.

The people that work in advance honestly don't know Auto parts and they don't wait on customers they let customers wait in some places up to 10 minutes or longer it's really bad the shelves are usually better too before they get help while I just stand around and talk to each other it's fairly bad they never have anything on the shelves either

Don't but any tools here. No returns if it doesn't fit. This store in particular is of poor quality. Better to go up the street to O'Reilly or next door to auto zone.
