Vacationing in Destin and noticed trouble with our vehicle on the drive down. They got us in quickly to diagnose the issue and were able to have it fully repaired within 2 days. They knew we were only here for a short time and made it a priority get our vehicle in working condition.

Initial guy that helped us at the front desk was a decent dude, pleasant & answered questions without seeming annoyed and bothered. The employee that checked us out had a major attitude problem. Rude and a smart aleck.

Making an appointment was extremely easy as I wasn t in a hurry or was broken down.I received a routine oil change and tire rotation. While inspecting my vehicle, they noticed I needed new brakes and rotors. I knew I probably did too so I allowed it.Prices were very reasonable and Terri at the front desk was a joy to deal with. She was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions.I recommend Rhodes for any car repair!Services: Tire rotations, Auto brake replacement, Oil change

We were on vacation in Destin when we experienced a problem with our car. The check engine light was coming on and the engine was misfiring periodically. The team at Rhodes Auto Repair provided excellent service, compassion for our situation, diagnosis, and repairs at a fair price. I had a great experience here! My vehicle needed an oil change and new brake pads, so I called and was able to make an appointment for the following morning. I felt like as a female, I wasn t oversold unnecessary services, and everything was explained clearly to me. Their services were completed in a timely manner and Ben called me to update me during the process. I recommend this place to anyone seeking routine maintenance and repairs!

Ben and his team truly took care of me and my car. While the issue was not resolved, I can not tell you how important getting a compression check on my 5.3 Chevy was to validate what was going on. Rhodes auto was a class act and listened to my issue and trouble shooting and helped confirm. Very friendly and believe straight shooters on repairs and would highly recommend. Ben was able to get me worked in and really answered question another shop simply could not provide.Thanks Ben and team at Rhodes! I was an out-of-towner and really appreciate your help on my 2007 Chevy misfire issue collapsed lifter.I should add one of the best business stories I have ever read about Rhodes relationship and Ben and family taking ownership of this great business. I own an older SUV and the team at Rhodes Auto have proven over and over to be the best in taking my old Durango and making it a new car again. Led by Ben (THE man to ask anything about your vehicle) the team has done engine work, complete AC work, suspension and more for me. In fact, their recommendation for auto glass repair has proven to be top quality as well! They have proven their knowledge and that they care about their clients so much that now they do all oil changes and tire work on our much newer Prius. I would go nowhere else for ANY auto work! They are truly full service!

I relocated from New Orleans April 1st of last year, and finding a good honest mechanic is very hard to do. One of the bartenders at McGuire's Irish pub, Natalie, referred me to Ben and his crew at Rhodes. I went through the process of elimination to find out why my car was pulling so hard to the right, and Ben founded almost immediately. The customer service was excellent and the character and integrity of this automotive shop is impeccable. I will use them again and again and again. We were on our honeymoon in Destin, Florida. We stopped at Merlins Pizza (which was really good) and when we left our car would not start. We freaked out and started searching for auto repair places and found Rhodes auto repair. They sent someone within 30 minutes to tow our car. They said they were busy but still managed to get our starter replaced and our car back to us that same day. We were so lucky to find them and thankful our trip wasn t ruined. Also very reasonably priced. 10/10 recommend.Service: Auto maintenance

Excellent. A personal friend who's a long time Destin resident and local business owner referred us to Rhode's after we had a mess on our hands.We had a regular oil change from the Jeep dealership off 98 for our Jeep Rubicon, and that dealership messed up the oil change which resulted in our entire engine needing replaced....Rhodes not only replaced our whole engine, but they are the only mechanic we trust to just tell us the truth and what's going on with our vehicle without any nonsense. Once you're a regular customer (they have a long wait list) they really go out of their way to help you get back on the road asap.

Rear brakes went out on our vacation. Not only did Rhodes fix them, they got us in the next morning and we were done by noon at a very fair price. Highly recommend Rhodes Auto Repair.

Such an amazing experience! Being from out of town and needing quick repair work before we could drive home, Rhodes went out of their way to get the parts and complete the job during a very busy time. I have been using this business for over 40 years. They are the absolute best. The quality of work is unsurpassed. They are honest and genuinely appreciate your business. Luther and Donna, their son Scott are some of the best people I have ever known. They have had some great employees throughout the years and perhaps one of the best is Terri who works the front desk. She schedules and provides the best in customer service. So many times she has helped me out when I have needed service and been in a bind. Thank you to everyone there. You all are the best. Was visiting Destin from Illinois and the day before we went home I saw fluids leaking under the car. Went to Rhodes at 7:30 in the morning and was told they were booked solid for the next week. The lady then asked me where we were from and what the problem was. She immediately said she didn't want us risking the ride home and had one of the technicians immediately bring the car in to check it. It turned out to be nothing to worry about and when I went to pay, the lady told me 'no charge'! Although they did not need to make any repairs the technician still spent his time looking it over and yet they still refused to take any payment! Unbelievable in this day and age. A really honest, honorable business. She knew I was from Illinois and would probably never be back as a repeat customer but still, no charge! If you are ever in Destin, please go to Rhodes Auto Repair for your repairs. Whatever they charge, you can be assured it is an honest price. Stopped in with a huge bolt in my truck tire, from the moment I walked in and spoke to the awesome person at reception desk til I got my truck back, tired fixed, 15-20 minutes later, nothing but a great experience. They are so friendly, professional and accommodating. I will definitely use Rhodes for my future auto repairs

Got rear ended while here on vacation. Bumper, hitch and reciever were totaled. Insurance wouldn't allow a partial repair since the bumper was on back order. They installed a hitch I found so we could pull the travel trailer home. They saved us when even our insurance company didn't care. Great owner and shop mechanics!

Rhodes auto repair was awesome and provided top notch service. After having an unfortunate occurrence of a car break down coming all the way from Cleveland, they treated us as one of their own. They went above and beyond not only checking out our car, but to give us all options and information we needed to be able to get us home. We are so thankful for their honesty, kindness, trustworthiness, and outstanding customer service. Absolutely (and very highly) recommend this auto repair shop with your car needs! Also thank you to Terri at the front desk so being so knowledgeable and helpful!

Rhoades Auto Repair saved our trip! Our Dodge Ram started leaking coolant on our last full day in Destin Florida. The guys were able to fix our truck so we could pull our Airstream home safely. Great service!! Thank you- We highly recommended this shop

I have been going to Rhodes for many years. They are really great! Terry, the office manager always addresses my needs quickly and they know the value of customer service and reliable repair. They have a great towing service as well! They are truly special people in the Destin community and I have tremendous respect for them and trust in their service.

I had an issue with my Ford F-150 with the engine. I called Terri on Monday morning and she told me to bring it in at 1:00. They helped me completely and honestly. I would recommend them to any customer!Whether you are from the area or visiting, for an honest recommendation of what needs to be done and at a great price..... go to Rhodes!

We were from out of town on vacation and had car trouble. Rhodes was recommended by the neighbor of the home we were renting. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the shop. I was given an estimate for the problem in less than 15 minutes and the repair was done in less than 4 hours. Very friendly staff. I highly recommend Rhodes. As much as you don't want to deal with a car repair Rhodes made it very simple.

So we came to Destin for vacation. Check engine light came on and the vehicle started running very poorly. Was shaking and vibrating repeatedly, as we came to a stop. Rhodes Was able to get us in in a very timely fashion, and fixed it later the same day. The pricing was very reasonable. And everybody I spoke with and dealt with was very kind and professional. I have been a customer of Rhodes for many years. They are the most honest folks and do tremendous work. I do not go anywhere else for repair work nor will I!! i cannot recommend these great people enough. i have recommended them to friends and neighbors and none have been dissatisfied.
