I ve been using Kurt for 10 years or so. He always goes out of his way to repair my vehicle in the most timely and affordable manner possible. Kurt and his staff are professional and talented mechanics. I d recommend him to anyone needing a trustworthy and reliable place to have your car repaired.

Kurt has serviced my Porsche Panamera for many years and he is the most honest, fair, and competent mechanic I have ever worked with. As a "car guy", I appreciate his service excellence and advice, even when it meant he was steering me away from a repair rather than taking me down a financial rabbit hole. I trust Kurt with all of my cars and always recommend his shop to my family and friends.

I own a 2015 BMW X3 that recently needed a variety of repairs, which ran the gamut from simple to complicated. I'm happy to go into more specifics on those with anyone that wants to contact me for more details - but, getting back to the point...Kurt efficiently and accurately diagnosed each issue, was fact based about repair options, transparent on costs, and more than fair with pricing. That alone warrants a six star review for a business in a crowded industry that, at times, is seemingly overrun with incompetents, thieves and philistines. However, trust and customer loyalty are built and dependent upon more than the requisite ability to identify and fix mechanical issues - those findings and recommendations need to be effectively communicated, even if that message may be difficult for a client to hear. Kurt is respectful and equitable in his customer communications, and that personal approach, coupled with his sharp intellect, truly set him apart in his field. I continue to recommend him without reservation.

People of delray BEWARE of shady mechanics!! I had been going to Kurt's European Auto for the past 15+ years. I took my previous car to Kurt's for everything from engine to tire issues. My latest car, a Mercedes, I had also been bringing to Kurt for the past 5 years. I took my 2012 Mercedes to Kurt again for everything from brakes, to engine repairs. Recently, I had Kurt replace my tires and after 4 days in the shop, I had the car returned to me with new tires. 3 days after I had the car back, the power steering started to "stick". Of course I called Kurt to have him diagnose the issue. He insisted that I briing the car back in. After another 4 days in the shop and on the lift, Kurt called me and told me that the problem was my steering column and the cost would be $2,800. Being so expensive, I went for a second opnion. A day later, I was suprised that the car was ready and only cost $100 to fix at the new place. I asked the new mechanic why it was so cheap. His response was that the previous mechanic had loosened all of the bolts under the car. It had nothing to do with the steering column. So the charge was to tighten all of the bolts. Beware of shady Delray mechaincs! Even the ones you might trust aren't always honest! Needless to say, I asked for all of my records (which most of them I did not get because they did not have records...) and never went back to Kurt's European Auto.

Kurt always makes time for me. His prices are fantastic ( I have a BMW) compared to the dealer & his work is backed up by him. He's one of those "hidden jewels" in Delray.

Car was fixed same day and they beat the dealerships quote by hundreds. In and out in 45 mins with a fixed bumper. Can t ask for much more. Kurt is the man. Highly recommend his shop.

Kurt is the best AND honest, he s also very competitive with his pricing. He s always personable and makes you feel valued as a customer. I use him anytime my cars warranty expires and will continue to use him. Curt diagnosed and fixed my A/C leak quickly and Prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend bringing any vehicle, especially European manufactured vehicles to him.

Kurt is the best service. My EPC light went on... called him... he walked me through the issue. I brought the car in the next day. My VW was fixed in less than an hour. Prices are good. Service is better!

I had the best auto service experience at Kurt's this week. Price performance was excellent. I was charged what was quoted. The quote was not the cheapest but was less than half what I was quoted by one other specialist European car service place.Client service was excellent. The expectation for how long the job would take was met, and the interactions with Kurt and the team were professional, friendly, and honest.As my car is out of warranty I was concerned about who to choose. I'm more than pleased with Kurt's. Based on my experience I have no hesitation recommending Kurt's.

Kurt's is the best!! We've been doing business with Kurt and his team for about 2 decades now, and most recently, we've had 2 Ford C-Max's reach 305k and 192k miles (both like new, ended because of accidents, running perfectly with Kurt keeping them going), an Infiniti with 200k, an Elantra with 270k, a Mazda 3 with 330k, an Acura RDX with 100k and a Buick Enclave with 105k miles, all running great, all because Kurt is the only one we've ever trusted to keep them that way. The staff is good, Kurt is awesome (his memory tricks are something else! Remembers names and phone numbers like few people I've ever met) and they're reasonably priced and take care of things as quickly as possible. I'll recommend this place like no other, even if Kurt might kill me for doing so was he's already really busy.

Kurt has worked on several of my cars. He is a very good alternative versus taking your car to the dealership and very reasonable in price. I own a BMW and when I can't afford a repair at the dealership Kurt saves me so much on labor with replacing the same genuine parts. I definitely recommend bringing your car here.

We have used Kurt as our mechanic for about 15 years. He is of course trustworthy, super talented and has decent price points. He is flexible with his hours, ans has a great sense of humor too!

Awesome results on a difficult repair that many mechanics wouldn't touch (turbo replacement). Kurt assured me they could do it and he got it done at a very fair price. Beyond that, he's a great guy, answers any questions, and is super easy to work with!!Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

Kurt has done many repairs and maintenance items on my 2007 BMW 550. The service is always excellent and fast! No hidden fees. The prices are great and I highly recommend him to my friends and others. I'll be using him again for years to come. UPDATE 5/2017- I have now taken 5 different cars here for 5+ years and referred at least 10 people to Kurt. The only place to go in Delray for any work on any of your vehicles.

Thank you for the amazing service.! We have used many other shops in our 13 years living in Delray and just found out about Kurt. We are always those annoying snow birds with the older german cars and convertibles. I can"t believe how fast the process was start to finish and zero shady hustle on price. Also, it was such a classy touch that the car I needed to pick up was sterilized when it had only been there an hour and I showed up early. I actually didn't need that and it was just a classy touch. Thank you Kurt. Thank you so much for everything that is still right in the car businsess. :) We are customers for life.

Being a girl and knowing nothing about cars, it's always hard when moving to a new city to find a great mechanic you can trust, who does a great job at a fair price, but when you do find one, it's such a relief. When I started having issues with my Jeep, a friend of mine whose opinion I trust recommended Kurt to me, and after that, I'd never go anywhere else. I moved from Delray Beach two years ago, and having Kurt to rely in case of car issues is one of the things I miss most.I highly recommend Kurt's Autoworks!!

Kurt and his team were professional and managed my expectations with clear communication while they worked on my vehicles. I used them to fix my Jeep willy (not an easy job sourcing all vintage parts) and my Volkswagen. They did a phenomenal job. I now use them for all of my company vehicles as well.

Gotten two of my services done here on my Volkswagen. Both times it cost me less than half of what the dealer wanted to charge. Also, I feel Kurt knows my car better than anyone at the dealership. Very satisfied, Will return for all future work.

I'm not sure who these other people are writing the reviews but I had a very different experience. I have an aftermarket bumper to bumper warranty and was told by Kurts that the repairs would be completely covered. When I picked up my car, only $350 of the $800 bill was actually covered. When I spoke with my warranty company, they said they cover $70/hour labor but that Kurts charges $120/hour and they would not pay the difference. It would have been nice if Kurt's informed me of that before they put in 5 hours of work which cost me $250 out of pocket alone! Plus he charged substantially higher for parts than what the warranty company paid... again, would have been nice to know that. Instead he just B.S'd me and told me everything was covered. Stay away!

I was looking for a reliable, honest and effective mechanic to service my BMW 328i in east Boca Raton area. Last week, I got a weird vibration and noise in the steering wheel. My first thought was to take my car to the BMW dealer, but it's not only expensive, but also far away from where we live.After searching for auto shops in Delray Beach, I saw Kurt's shop to had excellent reviews. Not only did Kurt fix my the noise and vibration, but also got 4 nice tires at a reasonable price.This shops offers a friendly service and great expertise on BMW cars at a reasonable price.Going forward, I'll be taking my car to Kurt's shop for service and repairs.....Thank you Kurt!!
