Long time customer... My prior reviews were 5 ... My experience yesterday with the Service Department was not very good.3� hours for an oil change, tire rotation, and car wash. Although I arrived early 12:30 for my 1:30 appointment, I was kept waiting for over an hour....Until I was recognized by the service advisor at 1:45. His excuse was that I arrived early and that he was on lunch.The work performed was as expected.. no complaints about that.The management and Service Advisor staff were not engaged, bored, and spoke to me without any human connection. Nobody indicated that the wait for a regular service oil change was to be 3� hours.The service advisor did offer me a ride to and from my home. But I have a better idea...In the future offer the customer a $35 Jiffy-Lube debit card and Hyundai Service can save the staffing cost of 2 greeters, one clerk, 3-4 service advisors, 2-3 mechanics, and the customer gets rapidly served.

Very horrible customer service as soon as I walk in I feel the air of I do not care and their work certainly proves it. If you are not living by the beach or considered a high end they treat you horribly. I took my vehicle in due to radiator issue found out I have no warranty anyway my insurance would pay or I would so I left it there hoping that things would be followed through. 2 days later Geico called because the service center did nothing they wait d two days later to call my insurance and that s when I am finding out I needed to do a claim etc that s how much they do not care owing to the fact they have no loaner to give. As a mother and a full time worker I need my vehicle but at Delray they do not care. That is a horrible service center and it should be closed. The wrong people are on the job. It s like me being a nurse if I do not care about my patients then do not do it. Horrible horrible. Just going to pick my car and pay privately to get it done.

The only reason to come here is if you need a Hyundai specific thing cared for. If you have a hybrid vehicle and your car battery dies, yes, come here. If you need an oil change or windshield replacement or tires rotated go anywhere else. The volume they take in is more than they can handle. If you do make an appointment try to drop off your car when they open, and you'll *maybe* get it back by midday. If you have an appointment for 10 am then expect to receive your car at closing. Sample pricing: semi synthetic oil change and tire rotation cost $110 as of Feb. 2024. And no, an oil change doesn't include fluid inspection items or putting air in your tires. Depending on what day it is sometimes they will wash the car before returning it to you, other times not. The last four times I've come in the car has not been washed. If you drop off your car they offer a Lyft ride to a location and will send a Lyft to pick you back up. Little to no communication onsite or to update you on how much longer to expect. The service managers operate independently, one won't check in your car for another and likewise one won't be able to give you an update for another. If you value your time or convenience at all just go somewhere else.

Terrible service, communication, and results. Brought in for humming noise and engine light (code read thermostat issue). Was told it was the transmission making noise. More than 50 days later after changing transmission I m told there s a different noise in one of the wheel bearings. $933 later I change the recommended bearing and pick up my truck and guess what the same humming noise is still there.I ve already spoken with corporate and per your generic and simple response to my situation I have an obligation to report your business to any and all agencies, bureaus, or any other representatives that advocate for consumers who have been mislead or otherwise treated in bad faith. My situation has merit and I ve yet to hear from anyone. So far your Google response is nothing more than words.

Never step foot in this place!! Worst service center ever!! They can t even keep their employees. My vehicle was there for 11 months last year to get repaired. Unfortunately, had to go back to them since they did my repairs. It has been 2 months!! Both advisors left and have been waiting for a response from the supervisor Piper for over 2-3 weeks now. What a joke!!! Go somewhere else!! Beware!! Have no idea how they are still in business!!***** I received a response finally only to be told my first diagnostics that I was given was false or lost from the first advisor . The new advisor has given me a new diagnostics and different. Someone help these facility or better yet close them down for business!!!

Wish I could do negative stars for these clowns! Worst customer service I ve ever seen. We dropped off our vehicle on March 28 and finally got it back two days ago, September 22. They changed their system and misplaced our vehicle paperwork and didn t even start working on our car until 5 months. Apparently changing their computer systems also impacted their personal behavior, attitudes, and basic customer service. John, who was our main representative was very rude and condescending throughout the whole ordeal. On two occasions, he told us our car was ready to pick up, so we came in only to find that was untrue. It was like pulling teeth to speak with a supervisor: Rob brushed us off entirely and never responded to our messages; Piper finally met with us when we picked up our car. When we showed up to pick up our vehicle, having made an appointment with Piper, we overheard John talking to the receptionist just two feet away from us, telling her that he didn t have time for these people. Morale of the story, buy a Kia or Subaru!P.S. after going through the cornucopia of horrible reviews I look forward to their auto generated customer service reply: We're sorry that your recent experience was less than satisfactory. At Delray Hyundai we are committed to providing our customers with a first-class experience. Based on what I've read, we have missed this goal. I want to personally apologize to your experience.

STAY AWAY FROM THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT THEY ARE THE PITS WHEN IT COMES TO CUSTOMER CARE.When I called for an appointment The daytime running light was out my 2022 Tuscon. I had to wait 6 weeks for my first appointment which was 3/14/23. It was diagnosed that the running light assembly was defective and had to be ordered. That took all day to let me know. I waited over 2 weeks and called the parts department and was told the part was in. I called for an appointment and was given 2/23/23. I was at the dealership at 8:00 AM as per my appointment, left the car and was told I couldn't wait so I went home. About 2:45 PM I received a call from the service telling me that the wrong part was ordered and they had to order the correct part. I was told it would be in, in about a week. I finally called the parts department on 3/12/23 and was told the correct part was in. Have no idea why I was not called. On 3/12/23 at about 11 AM I left a text message for my service writer to PLEASE call me with an appointment. Never received a reply. On 3/13/23 I left another text message to please call me, again no response. I was told by the service writer that he does not answer his phone and the only way to contact him is by text. It is now a total of over 3 months that I am trying to get the light on my car repaired. When it is time to purchase the car, they are all over you to make the sale, but when it comes to service they could care less about satisfying a customer. I'm still waiting for a response from them to get the car repaired.Service: Electrical

Worst service experience ever. Do not take your car there.. if you want your car repaired in a timely fashion Customer service ??Don't even go there. You'll just get the runaround. They don't do what they say they will do. Nobody should be put on hold for 35 minutes. Waiting to get an update on their vehicle. One star only for the receptionist. Jessie and Linda who get stuck in the middle.

I agree with another reviewer. If I could give negative stars I would. Had a 9 am appt for a simple oil change. Should have been out of there by 10:30. By 1:40 the car had not even been taken in. The place is a mess. Never told us until we were inside that the wait time is 3-4 hours. We left without any service. No one at the whole dealership seemed to care. When we wanted our car back no one could find the service agent until we started making some noise and telling the other guests they were going to be there for hours. Then all of a sudden everyone is on their phone looking for him. It s terrible. Worst experience in the 6 years we have owned Hyundai cars.Service: Oil change

I'd give the people responsible for this atrocious "service" dept. negative stars if only I could. Our warrantied vehicle experienced a/c problems in Dec.'22. We could only get an appt. for Feb.'23, thus having no a/c in Florida till then. At the end of the day, they claimed they could not get to it, and we had to book another appt. for the next available opening in April, another 2 month wait with no a/c. Dropped the car off on the appointed day, called them everyday as to the status, put on hold numerous times, and were "lucky" to have someone finally tell us they have not gotten to it yet. They never returned calls, never updated us as to the status, and after a full week of going out of their way to provide bad service and even worse communication, we retrieved our car. To make this even a more spectacular failure, they dropped it off with with a big splash of bird droppings. When we asked them to clean it, they claimed that since they did not work on the car, they were under no obligation to clean the windshield. They did offer to wash the car, but it would take atleast 2 hours. This service dept. has had a terrible reputation for quite awhile, thus damaging the Hyundai brand to the point that we will go out of our way to warn everyone that the warranty is worthless, act accordingly with your next vehicle purchase.

This is the worst service i have ever experienced. I dropped my car off at 9 am and they say they can't find the appointment so I had to prove I had one since I was getting their appointment reminder texts and emails. Then I call again at 12pm for an update, but no one has an update. I call again at 4:30 over an over because no one picked up the phone until I called on a different phone number. THEN they call me back after I made a commotion and left several voice mails and emails; while the receptionist is speaking with another employee i hear they can't find my car?!?! I am still on hold, still without an update and furious.

This place is the worst car service dealer ever. People don't answer the phone. They do not return calls. We've been trying to get someone to speak to over the last two days without any success. We are going to drive there this afternoon to take our car and never return to this hell hole.

Been trying to schedule service here, with no success. I understand being busy, but the service department customer care is just simply rude and uninterested in helping customers out. I can tell you i have never had service here, but now i will definitely never bring my vehicle here based on the treatment my wife and I received when trying to schedule service.

Spend some extra money and go to the WPB service dept. This place is a mess. I have bought 2 cars from them in the past 3 years and the experience I have had at their service dept was horrendous. No wonder the google rating is 2.3 stars. Should of looked at this before I bought my Genesis & Hyundai from them. Disappointed to say the least.Service: Tires

I am sorry to report that this is the worst service center I have ever encountered. It is almost impossible to reaching them via phone. They did a recall repair on my Sonata to replace the windshield seal. That in itself was an ordeal compounded by numerous delays but the worst part was that my windshield washer was not working when the car was returned. I opened the hood and found the hose from the found reservior had not been reconnected though fluid squirted out when activated. I brought the car back in for what I thought would be a 10 minute fix. After several tries they claimed that they were not sure if it was an electrical or mechanical problem and were going to order a new pump assembly for about $900, but don't worry it was covered under warantee. They would call me when it came in. I told them that the pump was working fine because fluid squirted out when activated. They never called so I brought the car to King Hyundai where they fixed the problem in 10 minutes by replacing a broken connector in the hose. Delray Hyundai service is as best incompetent and at worst dishonest in wanting to charge corporate for a new pump when only a plastic connector was required. This 10 minute repair went on for two months before I gave up on Delray and went to King Hyundai.

Horrible place dont take your car it took me 3 months to get an appt for routine maintenance. My appt was scheduled for 7:30am and was told the mechanic assigned to my car called out sick. Make sure you dont get ALEX the asst mgr for service he is rude lacks people skills and is highly unorganized. Since this Hyundai dealer is the only one in Delray. They dont have to provide excellent customer service or keep their promises necause they have no competitionIf you can find a hyndai dealer in Boynton or Boca i suggest driving the extra miles and avoid this place like the plague

So you buy a Hyundai with free service for a given period and you expect free service. Well, Delray Hyundai might give you free service but it takes 2 months to get your car in. So when you buy a new car, you might want to schedule your first 8,000 mile service before you leave the dealership. When I call the dealership to inquire whether that is accurate, the woman who answered in the service dept said yes it takes 2 months and then proceeded to hang up on me. The purchase experience was very positive, but am a bit concerned on where this is going with the service department right out of the gate.Service: Oil change

Shout out to Hector! He made a horrible experience bearable. Our car had a failed engine and was replaced under warranty. It took a long time to get parts needed but Hector kept in touch and kept us informed. Hope we don't need anything major for a long time but if we do, Hector is the one I want running our case. The delays experienced have nothing to do with those working locally and everything to do with supply chain issues.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Battery

I bought my car here and cannot get my car in for service until JANUARY!?!!? Free oil changes are part of the purchase price and and I cannot use them. Then, there is the recall I cannot get in to have serviced. If it malfunctions before January, it seems like a potential lawsuit. This makes zero sense to me.

Horrible service department, showed up for scheduled appt for manufacturer recall and no one available to check in (told only a service manager can do this). Waited 90 mins, finally left. Next available appointment is 3 months. No one responds to calls or emails.

Horrible ridiculous scammers. I literally left there after my 3rd recall and a brand new engine that was still giving me problems and bought a Toyota. They won't even cover the rental when they keep the car for weeks and it's under warranty

Attempted to use the service center and the warranty that I bought with my car but the service staff was rude and said nothing they could do till November because they were short staffed. It s a shame too because the car buying experience was excellent here but because of the horrendous service center my future business will be going elsewhere

Dont waste your time with this dealer i just moved back to florida and my forward collision sensor keep going off i left my santa fe at 7:30am to find out by 5pm it wasn't even looked at yet what takes all day and i had an appointment i will be reporting this hyundai dealer to hyundai usa!
