Very impressed. I was referred here by a coworker after my local dealership recommended a $1200 brake job (4 pads, 2 rotors). I wanted a second opinion. Delray Auto Repair & Quick Lube confirmed that I still have plenty of life left at all 4 corners. They saved me an unnecessary and expensive repair bill. I ll absolutely return when it s time to do the job and appreciate their honesty.

This is my second bad experience in a row. The first time, I tore up the rotors to my brakes because I thought they were fine after an inspection. After a week later I could feel and see the damage done. My second experience is happening as we speak. I dropped my truck off at 7 am to get oil and two issues checked. The last I heard at 2pm was another hour. I have heard nothing back and no one is picking up the phone. The establishment is long closed and I have no vehicle or any updates. I have never had such a thing happen at any garage. Very unprofessional.

Awful experience here. Spent about $250 and 2.5 weeks of taking my car back multiple times just for them to incorrectly diagnose the issue twice. Took it to a credible shop the next day and they immediately diagnosed the issue and fixed it. I would not recommend this shop.

We discovered Delray Auto Repair three years ago. Since then we have become regular, highly satisfied customers of Delray Auto Repair. They are always busy, which is testimony to how many highly satisfied customers you have. But as busy as they are, Carlos is never too busy to squeeze us in for an emergency . like the time we one of our tires picked up a nail just as we were headed down to Miami to board a cruise ship. Luckily, we were able to limp back to his shop. In spite of the fact that the garage and parking lot was full of cars waiting for your attention, Carlos dropped what he was doing, put a plug in the tire, and in ten minutes we were back on our way! His quick repair saved our trip! Not only that, 10,000 miles later, that tire still holds air like it was new!In the time we have known Delray Auto Repair, they have helped us with everything from oil changes to solving enigmatic electronic malfunctions. Their ability to solve of a wide range of automotive problems on a variety makes and models of cars is impressive. The quality of their work has been the consistently excellent. Customer service has been top drawer and high integrity on every occasion. And the charges for their service have been extraordinarily reasonable. We never worry about getting gouged.Finding Delray Auto Repair has been like discovering a new restaurant. You re tempted to keep your new find a secret. Took my 2015 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid there to get a new 12-volt battery since it was 5 years old, plus a Service Advance Track system error code. They tracked that to a speed sensor on the right rear wheel. They had replaced the speed sensor once and it was still throwing the same error code.They ordered a replacement speed sensor for the new one that was already put on the car. I had an issue where I really needed the car, they let me take the car without paying and we made another appointment first thing on June 5th so they could put on the next new speed sensor.On June 5th, they put on the next speed sensor and it was still throwing error codes, so it wasn't the speed sensor, they began checking things up to the front of the car. They got to the Hybrid system and I knew they wouldn't work on that. After an hour Carlos told me that he thought it would end up leading them to the ABS module. On Ford products, Ford is the only one that can install modules because they have to be programmed into the car.So, off to Schumacher Lincoln, I went. I made an appointment with Lincoln and told them about the ABS module. They told me they would diagnose the issue and that would be $199.95 + tax. So far Lincoln has had my car for 23 days at this writing. They have replaced the same rear speed sensor, that Carlos replaced, twice. I believe they are charging me $850 for that so far. They told me on August 2nd that they need to remove some parts to look at some wiring and that will take 2 hours at $270 an hour. Today is August 10th and they have not started doing that work. They can not give me a date on when they will fix my car.I will be getting rid of this car and never buy a Ford product again. I'll get a Toyota.Carlos charged me $515 for the speed sensor and the new 12-volt battery, and 1 hour for the diagnostics. His rate is $187.Lincoln has my charge up to $1,390 and I have been without a car for 23 days with no expectation of getting it back anytime soon.I used another Local Mechanic before Carlos and was charged $270 for a battery and a fee to use a credit card.Carlos, Delray Auto Repair is a great, honest shop. I highly recommend them.

The owner Carlos is a very good guy. You can tell he is very honest. I know cars in and out and was there fixing some plumbing but witnessed Carlos hooking up many people for free because nothing was really wrong. The man has a lot of class. The shop is also PACKED, which is the sign of a good mechanic. I trust VERY few mechanics. But this is an honest shop.

Honest service. Dealership recommended one thing and Carlos and his team diagnosed the true problem which was much cheaper than the dealership recommendation. Very trustworthy! I recently moved to Delray Beach and Delray Auto Repair was recommended to us. And I am pleased to recommend it as well. It can get pretty busy but that is to be expected with a quality shop that treats it's customers great and does great work.

I was referred to them by a friend. I was told by tires plus that I needed rotors and pads. Met with Carlos on Saturday morning. He told me two hours and the cost was half the price I was quoted by tires plus and Firestone. After 30 minutes they looked at my car and told me, my rotors and pads were just fine. I didn't need new ones How refreshing to find such good honest people. Will always go back to them for any future work. If I could give you 6 stars I would. THANK YOU!

So surprised with this shop! Got a nail in my tire, called to ask if I could stop in quickly to get it plugged. I was in and out of there in less than 20 minutes on a Friday afternoon! Only $10 too! Amazing price, amazing service. Will definitely come back!!

I have been going to these guys for 24 years with all 3 of my jeeps (and if you live in Delray , you'll know that Crystler was across the street). I have never had a complaint about the service, parts nor the staff. They continue to handle way more than just oil and tires for me. Very rarely is there something they can't handle, in which case they refer the job out to support reputable "heavy line" shops in the local area.They continue to be the ONLY shop I refer people to.

Delray Auto Repair is the only place I take my car. Carlos is knowledgeable, courteous and goes the extra mile. They always give me the facts, never try and push extra items and fair pricing for work done. I recommend this place for all your auto needs.

Carlos is extremely honest and his workers do a great and very fast job. Their services are very affordable and they won't charge you for unnecessary work. Definitely the most honest auto place in Delray.

Nothing worse than a bad car shop! Had them work on my daughters beetle. Constantly had to return. Spent thousands and had the wire harness and alternator burn up on her. Wouldn't warranty or fix without a fee. Found another mechanic, spent half for the same work, never another problem.The owner refused to refund their inferior workmanship. Nothing worse then being mistreated by people you trust. If I had the time I would sue them.

Well call it what you will; Out of the blue my truck decided to smoke squeal and die on me today right outside of Delray Auto Repair & Quicklube. My nerves were shot having very little funds and my 2 year old son in the truck with me. I had just been laid-off so money is extremely tight. Well I walked to the shop across the street, and they sent a mechanic over to get my truck to the shop. In about 35 minutes they had me up and running for the most affordable price I could imagine. I had a pulley break and my serpentine belt broke, these guys were amazing. I can't stress how hard it is to find honest, affordable and efficient mechanics to work on your vehicle it's like finding a good doctor. I will bring my vehicles to this shop only and I live in Pompano. I will also refer anybody looking for honest work to this shop. I had the best experience. Thanks guys for saving the day.

Brought my car here for any issues I've had. Definitely should call in advance to see how busy they are, but that goes to show how popular their service is. I've always left feeling I received an honest price and repair.

Very impressed! On my first visit for a diagnosis of a pesky problem, we sat in the waiting room for a few hours. Every customer who came in, including the Mayor, were treated like family and even those that were "new" customers, had complimentary words when they picked up their cars. We have found a new "forever" repair shop for our cars!
