I'm not one to take time to write reviews online, but the experience I had really deserves to be shared. I had an issue with my BMW X3 and took my car to the dealer service center. They were ready to charge me $2000 to fix the issue! I knew I needed a second opinion and asked a friend if he knew any good mechanic that specializes in imports. He said go to Mel, he is the best hands down.I called Mel the next day and he spent a good 15 minutes on the phone with me trying to understand my issue and giving me advice. I was shocked as a mechanic will normally just tell you to bring the car by and that's it. I then towed my car out of the dealer and took it to Mel. As soon as the car arrived he took it for a spin and told me the problem didn't seem to be what the dealer had said. He told us to give him a couple of days and he will investigate and give us a call. Just received a call today and indeed the issue was NOT was the dealer had told us and the fix was only $440!I could not believe it and am really shocked by the honesty and professionalism demonstrated by Mel. He really knows his stuff and is easy to work with.He has completely put me at ease about owning a BMW because now I know I have someone to take it to who is extremely knowledgeable and will give me a fair price!Have an import? Take it to Autowerks, you will not be disappointed!!

I own a 2009 BMW 528i, when my warranty from the dealership expired; I was looking for an honest mechanic who is proficient in his skills & a family member introduced me to Mr. Mel of Autowerks. My family member knew how particular I am about my BMW & he knew that Mel would be the best mechanic for me & he was right!.The very first time I took my BMW to autowerks for an oil change, Mel greeted me with dignity & respect. The shop was clean & well organized. Mel is the doctor of cars, he puts the right amount of oil, the right filter, filled all the fluids, balanced the tires, reset the oil gage & wiped the steering wheel. My BMW ran so smoothly, I felt like my car had been to heaven, so needless to say, I did not miss the oil change from the dealership.Since then, Mel of autowerks has become my mechanic of choice. No other mechanic has touched my BMW.When I take my BMW for a recall at the dealership, whatever they tell me that is wrong with it, I call Mel because I trust his judgement more than the dealership. He is always available to talk to me about whatever that is going on with my car. He gives me the right advice & he also gives me appointments expediously.Mel has been my mechanic for over 6 years & I am very pleased with his mechanical skills.Mel has performed a lot of mechanical works on my BMW. Because of his expertise, my car performs very well & I feel safe.Thanks Mel for taking such good care of my BMW for all these years. You are a gem!. Autowerks was recommended to me years ago and I've been going to Mel every since. He is a true rarity -- and honest mechanic who knows what he is doing and doesn't overcharge you. In fact, he'll go out his way to save you money. I wouldn't take my older German cars anywhere else!

Fantastic auto repair shop that specializes in European and exotic cars. The owner and mechanic, Melvin, is extremely knowledgeable, and goes the extra mile to create a great experience for the customer. Highly recommended.

The best mechanic ever! Honesty and reliability all in one package! I come all the way from Miami...it s worth the drive!! I will give him 7 stars because he has the knowledge and experience that most mechanics don t have

After no one could find the problem in my Mercedes sedan.I brought my car to Autoworks the Owner & staff personally showed me the diagnostic and fixed it in one day.Ty Guys.

Very happy with the service I received and will be coming back here. Have already recommended several friends and family. Some of which have already gone and are equally happy. They are definitely in business for the long haul and not looking to rip you off. More looking for your return business. I highly recommend.
