Ted over here at total car care is as honest as they come. But boy is he busy, (due to that reputation) find time to get your car worked on here, and you will receive high quality parts, good cost on labor, and peace of mind knowing that an automotive expert is handling your vehicles problems. I've had a myriad of work done on my 98 lesabre, including brakes that are still braking strong years later. By far the best Volusia county has to offer as far as mechanics, and I'd reckon many counties over. Amazing guy. I'm from out of town and needed a mechanic last minute to take a look over a used car I was thinking of buying in the Deland area. Ted got me in immediately, was honest about what he saw, referred me to a friend's shop around the corner for even more detail about some issues he saw with the vehicle, and on top of it all wouldn't accept any payment. All I can say is I'm grateful people like him exist.

I contacted Ted for what I was told to be a tie rod issue. After a quick assessment, he found it to be the struts. He gave me a couple options, super friendly quote, and delivered exceptional service. Without a doubt, I ll be back if something should arise with any of my vehicles. Ted and Tyler are honest, hard working and perform quality mechanics. They always trouble shoot to find the problem and they go extra and beyond to service the vehicle. We were told by two other mechanics that a new engine was needed for our Pilot after a faulty timing belt broke but Ted replaced the belt and the engine is fine. We are so thankful.

There isn't anything mechanically Ted can't fix. Electrical, a/c, brakes, front end suspension and so forth.I drop off the night before and pick up next day. Excellent service and favorable pricing!

I tried every mechanic possible to take the spark plugs stuck in my engine out and no one could do it this guy told me it would take 2 hours to do and charge me $150 it actually took all day long and instead of charging me labor all day long he just charged me an extra hundred dollars because he wanted to be a man of his word this guy is the best mechanic hands down I've ever seen and been to in my life I would go to him for every need and that's a fact
