So far, so good, friendly staff. I will write another review when we get our new frame on my 2001 wrangler. GOT JEEP BACK with new frame and other mods. Whole new jeep well worth the money. Guys in the front office incredible. Very helpful with everything will always take my jeeps there. 15 out of 10 for The Shop

I personally work in the back of the shop for another company and have been around these folks for the past 2 years or so. They are very respectable and straight forward. Also are willing to take pride in their quality and back up the work they do. Tony the one who runs the place is very down to earth. So with that being said I'd recommend His work and the overall experience. God bless.

We have a Ford 450 in our 26' class C RV. The local Ford dealership refused to work on it since it's an RV. So after much research, and finding many positive reviews for The Shop DeLand, we decided to give them a try. We have had our RV in for service a couple of times now, and feel totally confident in our choice. The staff is very friendly and professional. We are more than happy with them and highly recommend their business.They apparently work on, and or restore most all vehicles, as they had a number of older classic vehicles, including a 1931 automobile. They already had the engine in good running order, and only had the painting left to do.

They took care of our 1981 Blazer as if it was their own!!! Great service, very knowledgeable and fair pricing. Well, we had to have some more world done and once again, we couldn't be happier with the service.

They just don t get any better than these folks. I was drawn to the shop because I was looking for a jeep and I heard they sell great jeeps. I stopped and and took a look, saw some good stuff but not the one I d had pictured in my head since I was about 16. Then while touring the amazing shop with Tony, owner, and drooling over some beautiful restorations, I do mean beautiful, I saw IT the picture in my head for a long time, a red soft top, happened to be a 2005 TJ. Right out of the paint booth. Dang . Had to have. We discussed what I d like added to the TJ, and kabammm. Short time later I picked it up. Surpasses anything I d wanted. Shock though, had a couple mechanical issues with an old and used Jeep. Shock. They were all over making the needed repairs, and stood behind the sale ! Amazing, good peeps. The do it all, restorations, service, repairs etc. they are the only ones I will let tough and of my vehicles. Hit a truck tire with my 2018 ram truck, tore off air flow plastic piece, went right to the shop and dropped it off. I m in great hands. If you are looking for great folks, great service and trustworthy worthy shop .head to the shop.when the power ball god blesses me the have another red/ white Jeep I ll be chasing !

Highly Recommend Avoiding.Week wait which isn't bad but got quoted in person for $1050, they looked at all the parts and let me know the cost. I agreed and the day came.Dropped it off and three hours later, not even touched and they call me and said it's $2500 now due to bump stops. Asked without bump stops and they said $1900 ($900 front and $400 back), that's right wrong math. They didn't want to do the job so they overpriced on purpose.Wasted my time.

This place is so racist I was passing by because i was putting air in my tire every 30 minutes I had my car pulled and everything this boss or manager told the guy he had to get this other lady first which I got there first and he needed to get the other lady first mins you I had my car up and everything he told the other guy to move my car outta the way for this other lady who got there later to take her first and to tell me we didn t have any tire patches to fix my tire and it s a tire shop. The thing is they were gonna do until the manager or boss came out and pulled him to the side and told him not to take us , also they have a big confederate flag. Very bad service , I highly don t recommend this place at all !!!

Wow! What an experience! Top notch service from beginning to end. I must say Billy was the key that unlocked such a marvelous experience. His friendly tone, attentive and desire to help us with a quote was amazing.Unfortunately, our alternator died on us and being fairly new residents of Deland we always passed by The Shop on our way home. We gave it a shot called in and got Billy, who recommeded an amazing Tow Service (Richards Tow) to help get our Armada to the shop. From there communication between Billy and I was very pleasant. He updated me on the status and timeframes and had our vehicle ready next day! Our pickup call was perfect and the encounter with the mechanics and owner was what sealed our deal to always return, such a family oriented business. Their motto is to treat every customer like you would like to be treated.. and they lived up to that.. we will be back for additional repairs.Thank you again for getting our family Truck back on the road.The Hendricks

Had these guys over charge me for labor and to put a cheap aftermarket part in my vehicle after i requested not to. They left my ball joints loose, and i had to take it somewhere else to get adjusted after the fact because they were "too busy". They charged me $250 more than what I was originally quoted before I dropped off.Fast forward to 6 months, the part they put in failed and is still under warranty. I made an appt for them to order a new part and put the replacement in. They claimed they don't ever put this brand of aftermarket parts in, even though, thats what their invoice supposedly told me after they marked the part up $150. I dropped my vehicle off, inconvenienced all day, waiting for it to be fixed. They call me shortly before closing to tell me they took my truck apart and looked at it, put it back together, but "don't worry its driveable", and never actually put the new part in because they didn't have it. Of course I got heated, as a customer without a vehicle all day long waiting for it to get fixed. Who takes a customers vehicle without the ordered part in stock? I understand mistakes happen, but this is something that should be addressed before the customer arrives or when the customer arrives. Its happened to me at other shops before, and it was never an issue because they called me the day before or told me when I got there - cool.But apparently this shop owner doesn't understand my frustration. I can work on my vehicle myself, but unfortunately some of us work for a living and don't have the time so we trust and rely on these places to do the work for us.Now I am without a new part for my vehicle and they are not honoring their warranty on the part or labor. So now i have to find a part somewhere else and pay someone else an arm and a leg to fix my vehicle because these people are completely unprofessional. I don't know what part they actually installed in my vehicle, or if it is even actually under warranty at this point. I've called twice now to ask if they ordered the part and if i can make an appt to fix this since its under warranty and i have not gotten any sort of call back yet because "its a situation." I've tried being nice, but I am tired of being screwed with.Don't give this shady shop your business. They'll upcharge you and mess up your vehicles and then blame you as a customer for having common sense. They seem to only know how/cater to jeeps.EDIT: I also see the owner just responded - my truck did not have mud all over it and it was also lifted WHEN you put the original axle in - this is nothing new, and I hadn't even been off roading in MONTHS but I guess daily driving on regular roads is considered muddy to you since it rains daily here, and you guys absolutely were avoiding me because you did not want to do the warranty work. You never returned a single phone call. Also, since you claim you honored my warranty, if you actually did, i wouldn't be writing this review - so way to lie on a public page!

Great service and extremely nice and easy to work with. Got the job done faster than expected and adjusted the price of service. Definitely will go back again for any job I can t do myself. Highly recommended!!!!

I recall going to this shop with my car because while filling up gas, it would cut off prematurely. I would have to constantly press the nozzle handle to force through gas. I took it to this shop and had to leave it a day to diagnose the issue.They "find" the issue and tell me my gas tank needs to be replaced. Needless to say, this was expensive in parts and labor. I should have gotten a second opinion, but I chose to trust the mechanics at this shop because they're experts. I bit the bullet and paid them for the work.After the work, I pickup my car and take it to a gas station to pump gas. The issue is still there. I call the Shop to let them know, and they say I have to leave the car with them again so they can diagnose it again.At this point I am fed up. I have left my car at their shop multiple days to try to fix an issue. I take it to a different mechanic and they told me it was an issue with a small canister that regulates emissions at the bottom of my car. He said a proper diagnosis should have found the issue. Since I did not know much about cars, I guess they took me for a sucker. He fixes it for 1/5th what I paid this autoshop.I promised myself I would never go back to The Shop, and I tell all my friends to stay away from here. I urge everybody who gets an unnecessary/overpriced quote from this place go get a second opinion. I learned the hard way, so you don't have to.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Great SHOP will Never take truck anyplace else after being ripped off I was hesitant to go anywhere the service writer i forgot name She Took great care of me made me feel like life long customer!Meet owner today and Just Real people!! I will be forever customer!! The Tecks are Great!! Just THE SHOP is only place I will use!! Great people Thank you!! When I arrived, the service writer was really busy looking at his phone. It took a good while, but he had to be alerted to the fact that I had entered the office by a shop person who just happened to be passing by. After explaining the symptoms my truck was experiencing I was told that the mechanic would look at it the following day (Tuesday) and they would call. No call came. I called early Wednesday and they said later in the day they would be able to get to it. No call. Called again early Thursday and was told that I had an internal oil leak (Diesel) but they needed another $450 to figure out where it was. I politely declined and picked up my truck Thursday afternoon. Total diag cost, $150. Not too bad. Took the truck home did some diag and testing myself and discovered a fuel line blockage problem. Fixed myself for $45. The mechanic wasn't even close, and the service writer, too busy to be bothered. Truck is back together and runs great.

Had to get a new drive belt and new power steering lines on my F150. Absolutely great job AND DONE ON TIME. Great service, great service people! Thoroughly enjoyed it. Next is going to be a tune-up. We are in town for business but brought our boat for weekends. The stem came out of our trailer tire and we took it to The Shop and they put a new stem in the tire in 2 minutes and no charge. The business is clean and the two employees I dealt with were very courteous and also helpful in finding places to fish.Thank you again for your help.

I've found my new mechanics! The Shop did not disappoint. They are honest, thorough, fair priced, and will dig until the problem is solved. Best car shop ever!! They have always taken such good care of me. Travis and Shane are always patient and explain the situation and put it in girl terms for me LOL! They always will look at your car first for free so check them out for any of your car needs!!!

Been here numerous times. Always had a good experience.I pass many mechanic shops to get to this one and this is the only shop in DeLand that I trust to keep my old 98 Jeep running.Prices are reasonable, staff courteous.I haven't been disappointed yet. Big up!

Never did I think I would find an honest, caring and reliable auto repair shop like The Shop!! They are amazing and have taken care of my H2 Hummer for years and their service has been beyond amazing!!! So glad I found them!!! service was awful they won't even look at you if they're busy. To the owner thats puts on my reveiw that there is no record of me being a customer you are so right. I couldnt even get you to acknowledge me one day when I came in there to try to get my car fixed so I ended up walking out that's why there's no record of me ever being a customer because you gave me no reason to be a customer to your facility so I found some place else probably would have gotten the job done way better than what you could have done so there you go there is your answer.
