I was greeted by George and from that moment I knew he was truly an expert in the field of automotive and a DeLand historian. I had been to three (3) separate automotive repair shops shops that day. Each one in separate testaments to honesty ultimately directed me to Dynotune. George was able to fit the repair job in during an otherwise busy schedule. In less than 24 hours I was back on the road, without having to replace a transmission which was the diagnosis from Ford. George was able to troubleshoot the real issue and fixed it with a much less expensive diagnosis.Service: Auto engine tuning

Avoid this place, they don't stand behind their work and they tell you lies. I've had my vehicles serviced here in the past 30 years, but no more. They performed a diagnostic test on my car for check engine light and did a fuel injector clean service for a rough idle and multiple missfire problem, the total cost was about 378.00 bucks. Gerry said that this would fix my problem. The vehicle ran fine for about one week and the CEL came back on, rough idle and missfire codes again. Called them and was told to bring it in and they would check it out at no cost. Returned the vehicle to them to check it out, they called me later in the day and said the vehicle was ready for pick up and they couldn't find anything wrong. When my wife went to pick up her car, they charged her for another 106.00 diagnostic fee. I told Gerry that his brother said that it would be no charge and Gerry said they never said that. I asked him to verify it with his brother and Gerry said he wasn't available. I told him to call his brother and he said there was no way to get in touch with him. They use to be a trusted place to have your vehicle serviced, I always recommend them to friends and family..... not anymore. UPDATE, come to find out the cause of the missfire was a blown head gasket, this place with all of their high tech diagnostic equipment couldn't figure this out. I found the problem myself with an old fashioned compression tester, and according them, they charged me for a compression test and said the compression tested good.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My truck developed a bad misfire/stumble after doing some work on it. I threw some parts at it with no effect so I decided to let professionals take a look at it. They were able to narrow the problem down to a bad ground in less than two hours. They made sure I had all the information I would need to fix the problem and sent me on my way for an extremely reasonable price. I was expecting a much higher bill.They've been very helpful with two other vehicles for me.

Had car tuned up last month. They did a great job. When I arrived for my appointment they were ready for me, no waiting. The tuneup was completed on time. They were friendly and easy to talk to. They quickly understood the problem I was having with the car. I like the 6 month guarantee.

They not only fixed my truck quickly, they gave me specific instructions on how to keep it in better shape. Also did extra check up for free. These guys are awesome. Highly recommend!

I didn't realize that this is not a full service auto repair place. I really wish they had told me that when I called to make an appointment to try to find out what was wrong with my car. Instead I spent $80 on diagnostic testing and was told they weren't sure what was wrong and that I would have to take it somewhere else. My car was there for 4-5 hours and no one ever called to give me any status update. When I called to ask, the diagnostic testing and oil change were done and it was ready to pick up. I don't know if they had just finished or what, but there wasn't any communication.

If you are a woman and are tired of getting treated like you are incompetent of understanding and then being overcharged....Go to Dyna Tune in Deland, They are open and honest and treat you with respect! Plus they don't overcharge you! the same thing I would have paid 500 for a the Dodge Dealership cost me Under $90. They let me know all that my car needed and what was need to be done right away and what could wait a little. I will go here everytime! They listen to what is wrong even if you can't explain it in technical terms and figure it out. Being from out of town and relying on Google reviews, I brought my truck for a pre-puchase inspection to Dyno Tune. Extremely glad I did. George was my technician and he did an exaustively extensive deep-dive overview of the truck. There were a couple of known issues and I was in for an education as I rode along with him for the test drive. Expertly electronically monitoring every system on the fly, he was able to explain all the data to me in detail as it came in. He ultimately gave his seal of approval with an explanation that I trust.Particularly great was that he gave me a suggestion for a very cheap solution to a minor transmission shudder. I did as he said.... and as he said, the problem disappeared.My only regret is that I'm not local enough to use Dyno Tune regularly for my vehicle repairs. However, I can guarantee if I come across a more serious issue, I will definitely make the trip up.
