I stopped by for a thermostat from tampa on my way to texas. I had some concerns about what i had purchased and Austin helped me out a great deal and made sure i was confident with what i was doing. Customer service needs a revamp. Dude walks to counter and says "I'll get you here". I walk up and asked do yall change out wiper blades. He said yep. I thought he was logging in to his computer but when I looked up he was staring at me and said "need to know the vehicle". I told him and then started looking at air fresheners at the counter and then said "well which ones do you want?" So I said none. It is not the questions that he asked. It was how he asked them. This ain't the first time but I promise it will be the last. Jeff needs a customer service class. Because unlike Jeff I don't know which ones I needed. I needed the ones that fit my truck. Had no problem at the other place in town. Hooked me right up. I ain't saying the name of that store because it's irrelevant and I ain't wanting this to look like I'm promoting another store. I am not. I will say this. I will go there from here on out.

If I could leave a 10 star review for Andrew, I would. We were stranded in the parking lot for hours trying to fix our vehicle. Andrew came out with water and tools (AFTER HE CLOCKED OUT) and spent an hour helping us. With his help, we got it taken care of and we were back on the road. We would ve still be stuck without him. He was patient, kind, and totally lifted our spirits after a frustrating afternoon. He declined any sort of financial compensation so this is the least we can do. Thank you, Andrew!!!

The store is great, staff is great. If you are using google maps to get here you will end up at the Family Dollar store. This store is across the street on the corner of Hwy 331 and Hwy 90. Tried to suggest an edit but apparently google maps knows more from space than a person who has made the mistake of following google maps!

Russ is freakin awesome. Im evacuating from south fl to mississippi when my alternator dies on my truck and this guy goes out of his way to help me out and change it for me. Russ deserves a raise and a company car tell em Junior said so!!!!

Have been having dead auto battery issues since my retirement several years ago. Had my batteries replaced numerous times. Today, Advance Auto solved all my problems (Auto-wise, that is). They came out to the car and tested the electrical system which turned out to be A-O.K. I am now outfitted with a Solar Panel that can be plugged into the lighter that will keep my battery charged even it is not in use (which these days is only maybe once or twice a week at most!). I also purchased a power charger that will jump start the battery if it should fail while I'm on the road. Great people. Good prices. Helpful, courteous, kind. What else can you ask fer?

One guy in there had been extremely rude everytime I go in there which has been about 50 times I'd save yourself the trouble and go across the road to autozone where they actually help I went to buy a fuel gauge and he told me to stop looking no store ever has them on the shelf went to autozone and guess what I was in and out with a fuel gauge in my hand

People here courteous and helpful. It is a standard big box auto parts and supplies store but it has some things in stock that the competition does not regularly carry. Prices are competitive.

Prices online normally much lower then in store if you can wait by ordering online I'd advise doing this they raise thier prices significantly for holding items in stock. Most of them do

Just an FYI, yesterday I stop in your store in Defuniak Springs, Store #9191, I was interested in buying new headlamps. I knew the part number that fit my vehicle and proceeded to the register to pay for them. I had selected the most expensive lamp the store offer which was the Sylvania Ultra ZXE line, retail $59.99. I was ready to make the sales transaction and inquired if the store had an install service. I was very quickly and 'matter of factly' told, "NO, we're not a shop". For one, a simple and polite 'no' would have sufficed. Long story short, I put the lamps down on the counter, told the clerk "I'm sorry, but I guess you can't help me then". I left the store and drove right across the street to "Auto Zone", purchased my headlamp, which were $3.00 cheaper and D.J. was more than happy to install my lamps..... no charge. Now that's service in my book. Needless to say, I will gladly pay a premium price somewhere else before I ever step foot inside another Advance Auto. Shame on that man.If anyone needs wipers, headlamps or batteries installed upon purchase, don't go to Advance Auto Parts, they will flatly refuse and say, "We're not a shop". Go to Auto Zone, at the Defuniak store #1240 they sell stuff cheaper and install it with a smile.

Found that they had a rare part for my son's jeep ignition on stock and the experience of the tattooed lady found this small part in second's! Also had ordered the wrong part to begin with and was able to return!

Had an emergency where we lost a radiator, and had to do repair at a truck stop one exit up. We were able to get what we needed here and finish within about an hour.
