A total scam. My father and I brought my car here because the AC was blowing hot air, they called back after an hour (yes, an hour) saying I needed to have my brakes changed and a multitude of problems that needed to be repaired totaling $4000+. Went to pick it up early because no way in hell were we trusting these guys with my car, we get there and they try charging $360 saying they charge $120 an hour, but my dad explained to them that they clearly only worked on the car for an hour based on the time we arrived and the time they called so they brought the price down to a generous $160! So we paid $160 for absolutely nothing :)Don t trust this place, they really want your money and will scam. My car s AC is still broken, this should ve honestly been such an easy fix but now I have to take my car someplace else. What a waste of time and money, just take your car someplace else, one that doesn t have multiple reviews calling it a scam.

This guy is a cheat. Stay far away. A real POS. Held my car , sheriff involved . It was a whole ordeal. If you sign his paper for an estimate, he adds a pile of stuff to it after the fact. Not a man of his word. Be careful.You should be careful too Sammy

Amazing service here! We are from out of town and had an emergency with a metal piece hanging under our vehicle. The staff at Sammy's dropped everything and helped us immediately. Come to find out we had a huge oil leak. The issue was resolved quickly and everyone was extremely friendly. If I lived out here, I'd definitely come out here again! Thank you thank you!! This place is a scam. My car s steering wheel was shaking and took to this place to diagnose which cost $150. Couple hours later, the owner called me and told me that I needed to change all four struts and four tires of my car to fix the problem. And the cost was $3700 plus. Guess what! I fixed the problem in the shop where I changed tires in one and a half hour and cost nothing! Go away from this place if you don t want to be rip off!!!

These guys negligently installed a part in my car and did not secure it with the corresponding screws and when I took the car to them to put the missing screws in, they refused. They think they only gained maybe 30 minutes, but they couldn't see that they lost more than that, because they lost me as a client, my family and my friends. In addition to showing negligence, they showed little or no courtesy to the customer, and little honesty. So if you plan to take your car to this workshop, think twice.

If you are reading this , definitely go here. They are very honest with you. The repair I needed seemed to be costly but they were honest and fixed it for free ! I needed at least one new tire to travel another 4-5 hours from E FL to W FL preferably in daylight. Sammy's crew found a need for a set of balanced tires and a new air filter.I reminded them I had a long way to go and they did both jobs well by early afternoon. Besides that, they gave me a snack while I was waiting in their office.

sammy auto will scam you any chance they get. I brought my car in to get looked at and when I called to see wats taking so long they said its been fixed they didn't call me to ask if they can work on it. I have brought my car to Sammy s Auto House twice and will probably never return.For my first visit, I was charged an absurd amount of money for some seemingly necessary work (the classic mechanic spiel). Following that visit, I had to return because they didn t reset something with the electronic part of my car so one of my tires wasn t able to be gauged. After they fixed that, the same issue occurred but I was unable to find the time to get it fixed so I just left it be. Fast forward, I went back for an oil change and to address the reoccurring tire reading issue. They apparently had no record of me ever going and the work they did previously and proceeded to quote me with another outrageous number claiming that the tire sensor was broken (even though it was never an issue until I first went). I reluctantly agreed and when I went to pick up my car, they had charged me another $300 saying it was for taxes.Overall, they claim to treat costumers like family but both times I ve brought my car in for work I was overcharged and caught off guard.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Air conditioning, Oil change

The team takes great care of our vehicles and keeps us well informed of their progress. They have always been reasonably priced and perform high quality work. For someone that never thinks about leaving a review, I could not help but to share my experience with Sammy's Auto House recently. I have been utilizing the company for absolutely everything car related for the past 3 years and will never go elsewhere for countless reasons. More than a service, they provide and care about your experience.. as well as comfort and needs but without trying to break your bank like everyone else. I have been to many auto shops over the years, but none as trustworthy and efficient as Sammy and his team.I recently called them about something another shop made appear into a list of issues for a family member of mine, and instead, paid a few hundred bucks with Sammy without ever seeing the issue again. Their diagnosis, communication, and professionalism.. is 2nd to none. Everyone should understand it is their job to diagnose and point out issues, with it being your decision at the end of the day to repair what needs repairing.. this comes with a cost. Fully endorse them! Thank you!!

Sammy's Auto House provided exceptional service. They are compassionate and kind people who I trusted in a time of need with costly repairs. I was given a fair quote and everything was performed as promised. I am thankful that I chose this shop as I had never done business with them before then but I certainly will keep them in mind for anything my Volkswagen needs. These are great honest and hardworking people at Sammy's Auto House. I bought a voucher from Groupon and they were transparent about the service that they would provide, and what the cost would be should I agree to have any additional work done. They did what they said they would do and did not try to do anything unnecessary. There was no caveat to this extremely good value service. I would be happy to return to Sammy's and become their regular client for my vehicle because I am certain of their integrity. They operate in good faith and deserve a loyal and steady customer base.Service: Wheel alignment

Honestly I was looking for several hours for a mechanic one phone call I had a really good feeling about going to this facility. After my experience here I will never go to another mechanic!! This is by far the best mechanic I have ever been too and I will recommend all my friends and family here from now on. Best service fixed my car at a very fair price and this is family owned so you know they are about fixing your cars and getting it right rather than just saying things to get your money. My NEW MECHANIC FROM NOW ON I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE I LOVE IT HERE!

Called this place because I was broken down down the street, having starting problems. Have done some self car repair work myself with valve gasket, suspensions work (etc.), have a bit of knowledge of car mechanical functions and was guessing I was having starter problems. Called to get estimate, explained symptoms and issues I was having.. This place wanted to charge me around $450 for new starter including labor.. I asked what was labor charge and they said $130 something.. so basically charging me $300+ for a new starter... I told them no thanks, new starter was no more thank $200 for 01 Honda Accord. It ended being just a battery issue. Spend $200 on new battery.. this place is just looking to take advantage of people's money and lack of knowledge.

Came in for a pretty big job on my 2015 Toyota Camry, needed all of my rotors changed, and all my brake pads changed. Sammy was quick to get in touch with me to let me know the breakdown, and what exactly needed to be changed, and why. He went out of his way to find good quality material that fit within my budget, and got it all done within a day. I will definitely be back, this is a gem of a local shop! We brought in an older vehicle that had stalled while driving. Sammy diagnosed vehicle and did not throw parts at it. Sammy was professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.This experience was truly deserving a 5 star review. I called with a very specific service that I wanted a price on. I was a service advisor for Honda for over 5 years, so I knew exactly what I wanted done to my Honda. After asking the age and milage of my car (which is completely irrelevant to the service requested), and hearing that it is a 2005 with over 200,000 they refused to give me a quote and insisted I bring my car in for unnecessary diagnosis. I simply asked for the price of a single procedure and they refused to tell me. Do they not know their own prices, were they going to adjust that price based on the situation after I came in, or were they trying to get me in for a very hard sell on everything they assume is wrong with my older car? Either way, I think you can see why they should be avoided at all costs, especially given the fact that there are plenty of choices in the area.

I had a nail in my tire and they charged me $30 plus , No patch or anything. Just a simple screw removed and plug that took two minutes to fix. It seems like there are many reviews on here of dishonesty and gouging.

Having recently moved from Tampa Bay and looking for a reliable and honest mechanic to become my regular, I called to ask what it would cost for an oil change (stating I have 4 qts and the filter in my trunk. So only 2 qts of synthetic oil and labor were requred). I was quoted $60.00.Further, I asked for a safety check. That was an additional $140.00!! Tires Plus throws on a safety check for free!!Theft in the name if Capitalism is a symptom of the greed that is going to kill this nation!I am a disabled federal employee (DoD) and a U.S.A.F. Veteran living in Deerfield Beach, on a fixed income.How does ANYBODY make ends meet with this kind of "Business" practice!Sammy's should be ashamed of themselves!

BE CAREFUL WITH THIS PLACE !!!!They told you what the price is when you get there and your car is ready it s completely different.They make you sign the quote before they add all the items, plus they aren t clear enough with how much you re going to expend on your car. At the end I left with a bill of more than $500 and I don t even knew what they were doing. And of course I had to pay for ..Service: Oil change

I borrowed my brother in laws car while on vacation The cable I pulled to lift the hood of the car broke I brought the car there and left it for the day without asking for an estimate That was a big mistake When I went to pick the car up I was told the charge was 580.00?? Had my Car maintenance twice at this location and honestlly couldnt of asked for better service and customer satisfaction.. they took care of every little issue that i disclosed and the staff was super friendly and always kept me in the loop on when things completed... looking for a place for maintenance this is your spot.

Warning to all stay away from this shop they will tell you you need things that don t need to be fix I did my breaks one month ago and they said I need a whole break job and rotors I went to another shop and they told me they are fine taking advantage of people at that place

I brought my car here despite some of the bad reviews I read but unfortunately, that was a HUGE mistake. Should've just listened to my gut but you wanna believe your neighborhood auto shop could do no wrong, right?They'll know exactly who's posting this and I couldn't care less. I went in because I had an oil leak. Figured some gaskets needed to be done cause I'm not entirely lost when it comes to cars. They tell me I need to replace the valve cover gaskets, the intake manifold gasket (which you have to get off anyway) and replace the spark plugs.Ok, cool. What do they quote me? $1,450. I almost lost my mind. That much for some gaskets and spark plugs...? I understand labor plays a part which should have probably taken 5-6 hours tops, but 1,450...that's a joke, right? I literally got gasket work done (I think it was just one) last year and went to Master Tech up in West Palm where I used to live and they charged me $250 tops.Sammy's called me at 11:15am to confirm the repairs I wanted to do. So I called around to get other quotes cause I wasn't sure about leaving my car in their care and 3 other local shops quoted me no more than $900 for everything that I needed repaired. My personal mechanic, who was unfortunately unavailable, quoted $700. I call the shop back at 11:30am (I have the time of the calls and keep in mind they open at 8am) to tell them I want to take my car somewhere else cause it's too pricey and i'll just pay their diagnostic fee of $120 and the lady on the phone says "oh, but he's almost done..."I didn't hear from them for the rest of the day. Just a ploy to keep my car there and rip me off cause I wanted to take my car somewhere else. Literally forcing me to keep my car there. It wasn't until I texted them...ME, texting the mechanic at 5pm to ask if the car was done did I get a response back that it was done. So either you weren't working on my car at all when I asked to take it elsewhere or you failed to let me know my car was finished despite the lady saying it was "ALMOST DONE" almost 6 HOURS before I texted you. Despicable.It's disgusting that y'all have the audacity to be ripping people off during a pandemic when people are struggling. I sincerely hope this review is helpful to others looking for an honest business to take care of them. Guys, this ain't it. Please look elsewhere. I'm so serious when I say I called 3 other local shops and asked 2 other personal mechanics their roundabout price and NO ONE even came CLOSE to $1,450. They're outrageously overpriced and I will never, ever ponder the thought of bringing my car back there for any sort of work.

Went in to get a tire fixed. So fast, excellent communication and Dave took the time to show me how to properly inflate my tires (new car and I needed some help.). Thank you for time, your patience and courtesy. As a single woman travelling having car trouble can be a nightmare, especially with out of state plates, but I highly recommend Sammy's as a place you can go and trust.

I trust Sammy's Auto house with all my car repairs. I brought my Mercedes to him and he saved me hundreds of dollars compared to going to the dealer. Very professional and clean shop. Ecellent Diagnostics and excellent mechanics. Very prompt and deliver as promised. No surprises. He even offers espresso for good customers. State of the art equipment and very honest. Thank you Sammy for your help. I will send all my friends to your shop.
