I called for pricing on a few parts for my car. I had already purchased the parts. I called Avant to get pricing and the guy that answered was so disgusting. I told him what was wrong he then told me that I needed to find someone to fix it. I was confused as to why he told me that in he such an irritated voice. He goes on to say why would I change those parts that you've purchased? And again I'm still confused to why he's saying that. He goes on to say that's how we make our bread and butter do you take a steak to a restaurant to be cooked? I told him that I had no clue that's how you all operate and there's a better way to talk to people.

Avant helped to address some electrical issues with my mom's car. They worked diligently to address the problems and were straightforward about part replacement costs, both new and refurbished. I left Avant knowing that I will return should I require trustworthy automotive service in the future.

This is my very first bad review I have ever posted.I called a few days before bringing my wife's car into this shop for a rough estimate, I was told around $600 to change the front brake rotors and pads. Once I dropped off the car, I was later called and given a price of $887.43. I asked for them to email the invoice which they did. They tried to charge 317.86 for 2 rotors. I checked multiple sites, I knew the brand and part number. I could not find one website that even had one rotor for over $100. I called and complained about the price and within 5 minutes the rotors now were $40 cheaper.After looking up the part numbers I realized how ridiculous this price was. I called two other auto shops near this shop and was given a out the door price of $520. Of course I told them I was just going to pick up my car and not pay $887.43. They charged me $75 to get my keys because they did a brake check (on the invoice, it is free). A better response to this review would be to refund my money.

Avant's auto is a life saver, traveling from out of town when we started having problems with our battery, we had roadside assistance change the battery, but in the process a wire or cable got messed up, we took the car to avants and the spent an 1hr diagnosing and replacing the faulty wire and then the total was so low that it was outstanding. The customer service and care they show to their customers is top notch. You should definitely take your car here.

Lonnie and his staff are THE BEST !!! I've been here three times and these mechanics are top knotch and very reasonably priced. First, they ordered and put in two rear view mirrors - superior job and price. Second, they replaced my battery and starter the same day my car wouldn't start. Finally, they put air in my tires when needed as I'm from the north where we have gasoline attendants who pump your gas and fill up your tires. I'm TRULY GRATEFUL. Highly recommend Avant's Automotive repair - they're the best in the Deerfield / Boca area !

Avant's has been my car repair shop for 20 years. They take care of all of my cars. I have referred more than 20 people to them and all of them are equally as please with and loyal to Avant's. They are knowledgable, efficient, honest, professional and just GREAT! When Lonnie or Rich has felt that they are not the qualified professionals to do the job they give me a referral where they can. One of my vehicles is unusual and they have gone to great lengths to find the parts and to repair the car to spec. I recommend Avant's strongly for your automotive needs. Great Place, It's hard to find an honest auto repair shop these days. These guys were straight up with me about what was needed and what actually wasn't instead of pushing a lot of unnecessary repairs on me like some shops do. They got the job done in a timely manor as promised and at the agreed upon price with no last minute charges. I highly recommend Avant's Automotive Repair!!I have a 2015 Dodge Challeneger that was showing "anti lock brake error".I took my car into Avants and Lonnie was able to quickly do a scan of car and identify that the speed sensor was out/broken.they were able to order part and fix my car the following week!I was so impressed with this auto repair shop! Lonnie was absolutely fantastic- very friendly and honest guy. If your looking for an automotive repair shop then give Avant's a call! trust me you will not be disappointed. I had to drive to South Florida from Tampa for several work events over a three day span. While I was on Alligator Alley, I heard a thump under my car and when I got off the interstate, I heard a grinding coming from the left front wheel that got louder when I would make a right hand turn. So, not knowing what was wrong, I got up the next morning and took my car to Avant s Automotive Repair in Deerfield Beach. They called me after just about 30 minutes and said that the only problem was that one of the shields under the engine broke and was rubbing on the wheel. Knowing that I was 250 miles from home, they really could have taken advantage of me but they didn t. They removed the broken shield, told me that I could have the shield replaced at home (it would take two days for them to get the part) and only charged me $43. So, while automotive knowledge is certainly important when choosing a mechanic, integrity and honesty are almost as important. If you live near Deerfield Beach and are looking for an honest mechanic, Avant s Automotive Repair has that covered!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

Lonnie and Richard are the most helpful and honest people. They are knowledgeable about the work they do, they explain all that is needed to be done. If something can wait, they will tell you it can wait. So far I'm being very satisfied with their services. I have a 10 year Chevrolet Cruze, which I have been keeping it, so I have to invest with some repairs in the last three years. Honest mechanics are hard to find. Avant's we never tell you to repair something you do not need. They are have fair prices and I dislike taking my car to anyone else. this guys a fn crook. he did my oil pan, charged me almost $3,000 and within weeks was leaking again. he would not fix it saying it was from something else. i took it to another place and they showed me it was the oil pan he put in that was leaking. stay away from this place. i will add photos soon. stay awayService: Engine repairService: Engine repair

They are HONEST! The day before, another mechanic told me I needed an $800 brake job. Avant s checked my brakes and told me I had 60% of the pads left. Had some other work done there and very satisfied. Quality parts, reasonable price, fast service. I am already recommending them to my friends and coworkers!

This place is quality over price. Extremely fast services and reliable services. They saw to it that I had my car 1st thing on New Years Eve; in the short space of time they had and I was able to have a great New Years 2021; with a fully working vehicle.I had a problem with my coolant system etc now my car is working 10 times better than when I 1st had it.Very grateful for all your services and highly recommended this place; especially for women who are looking for a trust worthy automotive mechanic repair shop.Many thanks to the Avant Team-great job!10/10

These guys saved me a bundle of money today. My AC started blowing hot air last night and I figured maybe I was low on freon. Then my temperature warning came on and I was pretty worried something worse was wrong. I called them when I got home and asked about a Tuesday appointment since I need to work tomorrow, and avoiding a rental car would be great. Unfortunately they were booked until Wednesday, but I was asked what was going on.After I described my problem, suddenly he sounded urgent. It could be the radiator, and a hot engine is a bad thing. He found a way to get me in first thing this morning. I am glad I did, because the issue was a cooling fan that had become stuck. It was blind luck the thing didn't dislodge and hit the radiator. I got the car back this afternoon to the tune of 350, when a new radiator would have been 1000, and a car rental would have been 300 more for the week.They went out of their way to help me even though they were fully booked. I would have understood completely if they couldn't get me in today of course, but it was so awesome they were able to help me so fast!

Went to Avant's Automotive last minute while visiting from out of town. Had a bad vibration in the rear of the vehicle and was told elsewhere it was the tires. Lonnie checked it out and figured out it was the rear shocks not the tires. Took the truck in and repaired it quickly at a very good price. Nice folks working there ,quick fair service first time every time. Thanks Lonnie and crew!!!

This AAA certified service center seems to provide honest service. The service seemed to take longer than it should have, but at least it was done well and for a fair price. The owner worked with me, providing me transportation home. I'm guessing that the length of time to fix the car was probably because he does good work, and seems to have a back log of work. While i would recommend this shop for good work at an affordable price, i would recommend a bit of patience as many people seem to be using this shop fortheir repairs.Thanks for the good work on mine...

I brought my car in because the AC wasn't working very well. They determined that it was just low freon and they filled it up. A dishonest garage could have told me that the AC unit needed to be replaced and it would have cost me a lot of money. I appreciate the way that took care of me.

I moved down to florida few years back and needed reliable mechanic. My son reccomended avants and im glad he did. This is best auto repair shop ive ever used. Top rate mechanics, honest, they dont hold my car for days and always complete job within time estimated and best of all reasonable prices.

Went to Avant Auto repair last minute for an overheating issue with my elderly mother's vehicle. Came down from Tennessee, After a quick diagnosis, was determined that the water pump was leaking. Quickly jumped on the repair, like I was the only person important to them at the time, even though they had a waiting room full of people. Was assigned a mechanic named Aaron. Extremely knowledgeable, explained the problem and the remedy in detail. Never tried to oversell me anything I didn't need. Even asked them about a thermostat, said they would change it if I wanted them too, but didn't think it was necessary. Put the part in the vehicle, said it would be finished by lunch time. By noon, I was paying the bill and on my way. Very happy with their customer service skills. If I still lived in South Florida, I would not hesitate to use them again. Thanks guys

I was looking for a car repair shop for a long time. We all know the issues with "chain shops": overpriced, no customer service, they find a million things wrong at your car and they keep pushing and pushing for you to open you wallet. Well,... I have done some online research. After reading some of the reviews, I've decided to give these people a chance. I wasn't bullied into buying stuff I don't need. They were honest in their assessments, the price was fair. I will use this shop going forward. I strongly recommend them. Before you drive to any chain store, stop by this place. You will thank me.

Hands down the best auto repair shop in south Florida. Fast, fair, and friendly. I usually come in every 6 months for an oil change but today came in for a tire leak, left 10 minutes later with it fixed. Happy customer right here

I just had Avant do some wiring for after market headlights, no one else could do it and they did it no problem, and fixed the air conditioning all for about half of what I expected to pay. These guys are great
