I've used this shop in the past many times and the former owner Fabio was always a true gentleman, a delight to deal with and a true master at paint matching and collision work. Unfortunately, Alain the new owner is not even close. I brought my car to Auto Planet not knowing it had been sold but figured I'd try them anyhow. My car, a 2017 Nissan Altima, garage kept with no paint work ever and it simply needed to have the back bumper painted due to some minor scratches - no damage at all. They promised it to be ready in 2 days which it was not and in 8 days and many unanswered phone calls later, the following week, when I went to pick it up, the color was so far off, I refused to accept it. They even tried to hide the color by painting the left quarter panel which was perfect, damage and scratch free and didn't need to be touched! Alain, tried to convince me to take it regardless and again I refused because the color was so far off, ruining the value of my car. Finally, he agreed to fix his mistake and respray it again. When I went to pick it up the second time, the color was only slightly better but still so far off so needless to say, I was not happy but this time, the whole car, including all the windows were covered with over-spray. Alain also lost the clips to a panel in the trunk which he had to remove. He spoke to me like I was stupid and said the car came in that way. After bringing the car home, I found the clips he removed in my ash tray and needless to say, I don't smoke. Never did he try to make things right, never did he say he was sorry but instead, he said that he's not a real body shop, he only fixes wheels. I was so disgusted by his poor attitude and wanted to get out of there with my car before he could do further damage. I was so angry at this point because I was without my car for so much longer than promised and had to rent a car. After this experience, I brought my car to the Nissan Dealer where I purchased it brand new, paid their price and they did an amazing job fixing the mess created by Alain at Auto Planet. The best place in town. The owner did an amazing job on my 350z. He made it into a show car. I am posting some pictures on the google listing of my burnt orange so you can see the amazing craftsmanship.

This review is being posted by his wife, Linda Marincola. I took my car in for a scratch and tiny tiny dent on driver side (someone apparently opened the passenger door of their car and did this). They told me it would be only about $20 plus the cost of the paint to touch it up. I, wrongly, assumed that they would buff it after they filled in the scratch. WORST.JOB.EVER. It actually looks worse than when I brought it in - not even bothering with a photo. Oh, and they told me they had to order the paint for the "touch up" I asked if I could have the can and they gave me about an inch in the bottom of a paint can with an expiration date of 2018...Lesson learned
