Friendly, Considerate, and honest. Never before have I walked into an Auto Shop and felt welcomed. Spent the last few days looking for a place to get my tire fixed and this was the FIRST place to make me feel genuinely welcomed as a customer and now just seen as a dollar sign. Thank you Pep Boys on International Speedway for providing top notch service AND a welcoming atmosphere.

Absolutely horrid! Alex is the worst customer service representative ever. Took my vehicle there because it was over heating down the road, was told there was a 2 hour wait...5 hours later still waiting and when finally looked at was told it couldn't be fixed until the next day since now they were closing. He called the next day at a price of $700 for 1 water hose leak and thermostat. 4 hours later, he called back and said $1600 for a whole heating new hoses. Dismayed, i asked if it would still be fine today and was told yes, they had the parts for everything. When the vehicle was finally ready at 4 p.m., I go in to pay and pick up the vehicle. I questioned one of cost. It says for ORDERED parts !?! I was told they had everything there, so why is there a charge for $800 for ordered parts? There's an auto part place right next door, no answer. They upcharge for walking next door to get a $70 part. They'll never get my business again, and customers beware. I've attached the parts to show you they look absolutely fine. Disgusting service all the way around!

Great experience today! Came in for a repair for my tire.Gentleman up front with long hair (missed the opportunity to get his name) took great care of us and made my visit easy and quick. I highly recommend this location.

I highly recommend the Pep Boys service center on International Speedway Blvd. in Daytona Beach. I stopped by on a random weekday morning with no appointment and the manager on duty tested my battery, diagnosed my issue which appears to be a starter going out and replaced my windshield wipers within 20 minutes of opening at 7:00 AM. What great service.

Stay away from this location they will try to scam with you with needless repairs. Took a family members car in to have one issue looked at and they tried to say that the car need new breaks. I had recently looked at the pads and saw there was plenty of padding so needless to say we told them no thank you. Someone not familiar with what look for would have probably told them to go ahead and replace them. We had the car at another repair shop and before getting the car back we were told that the brakes looked good. This information was provided even though we said nothing about another place saying we needed new brakes. So that confirmed that Pep Boys was trying to scam us by saying the car needed new brakes when it didn't. Will never go back to this Pep Boys or any other location for that matter.

Easy appointment process. Courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable service associate. Work completed in timely manner. Wish they hadn't discontinued the complimentary Uber/Lyft to work program, but I understand the reasons for the change (people abusing the courtesy).

I was driving from Jacksonville Fl. to Deland Fl. when my car broke down. I went to three places before I found the Pep Boys at 2220 Int. Speedway Blvd. in Daytona and they were fabulous. Alex and Micah both explained everything and were so nice to my mom and me turning a bad situation into a pleasant experience. We were late but we made it to our event and home again safe. Thank you to everyone at the Pep Boys for your speed, kindness and fantastic work.

Flat tire on SUNDAY after 12 noon??? CALL THIS PEP BOYS! UPDATE: Pep boys is now in a brand new facility. The bad news is NO LONGER A PARTS STORE. The good news is they are now a tire & auto facility. God forbid you find yourself near us92 and I95 and the car runs hot or worst. Or are you sick & tired of that Stop engine light? Relax. Pep boys is only 5 minutes east on 17/92 in front of the Speedway. Been having my A/C work done here for awhile. The INTERACTIVE CELL PHONE LINK to the name & progress of your repairs IN REAL TIME is out of this World!!! s for Service-Waiting Area-Location & HONESTY: FLATS AT HOME? Consider purchasing a portable Tire Inflation device (Amazon $25) to TEMPORARILY inflate the tire to get you to the nearest PEP BOYZ location for repairs or replacement

Well. Let s start with the 2 star review. The two stars is for the simple fact that they had the tire size I needed in stock on a Sunday.I come into the Daytona pep boys after seeing on the online website that they had the tires I wanted in stock. I speak to Alex at the front desk (very nice fella, very good at multi tasking. He was the only one working the front.) and he confirmed the he in fact had the tires in stock. I said perfect let s do it, and as we were checking all the boxes, I told him I want new valve stems, these are original from 2002, and are past their life span I brought my set of bmw m3 wheels in the bed of my truck. 100% clean (I had cleaned them 1 hour ahead of time as well as removed all the existing stick on wheel weights off the barrels and wiped the adhesive away) and also removed my center caps so they didn t have to bother when putting on balancing machine.I bring my truck around back, unload the wheels and tires, and the tech asked if it s just a dismount and re Mount. I replied yes, dismount and remount, and I want new valve stems. As the tire tech was trying to get the tires mounted, he seemed to be struggling a bit with the tire spoon, and I had noted that the paint may chip (meaning in the one singular spot that he was working, and not to worry.) just please don t gouge them.I watch for a little while from a distance, as they are hard to find wheels, but I didn t want the tire tech thinking I was being annoying.This is what I observed. The spoon kind of kicked his butt, it popped off the wheel and it looked like he hit himself in the face. After this, the tire tech seemed upset and took some anger off on my wheels, and the tire machine (he put 2 spoons together and ripped on the arm of the machine, and then dropped one of my wheels directly on the ground without a tire beading causing damage)At this point, I walk away and let him do his thing. When the tires were ready, I backed my truck up to the bay to load them up. I was very upset and went very quiet for a momment. (The tires were gouged all up, and most of the paint on the lips was missing) Then I asked the tire tech why he did not put new valve stems in. He said they were good, I checked them I then bent over a valve stem and showed him there completely dry rotted to the core. He had nothing to say.I keep my cool, drove my truck to the front parking lot and go in to pay Alex. I think he could tell I was highly upset. I asked him first of all why did I not get new valve stems after i specifically stated I wanted that in the beginning. To both him and the tech. He was upset too. Then he offers that if one leaks bring it back. (This is my wife s daily driver and hauls around my 5 year old son) I said absolutely not. He then says bring them back there and we will put all new stems in. I then replied that tech will never touch anything of mine again. He absolutely destroyed my wheels, gouged them to heck. Alex then very respectfully apologizes. He also mentioned that we can have the wheels refinished. I asked him if he wanted to come look at them in my truck. His reply was no. I completely believe you. I will have my store manager contact you first thing tomorrow. (this morning). Well, it s now 7pm on Monday and have gotten no response.I am very upset and was was anticipating to receive a call today, but that did not happen.I m sure for your daily commuter that you don t care too much about, this tire tech will suit your needs. I cannot in the slightest reccomend bringing on wheels that you care about.I hope to get a phone call soon to get this fixed. Best reguards, Austin.

I showed up Saturday afternoon needing 2 rear tires. Not only did they give me a great deal on 2 new tires. But,they had me in and out in just under an hours time with no appointment. The gentleman at the desk were courteous and professional. I recommend going to Pep Boys for new tires and deals. You may also qualify for their credit card and be able to put your purchase on the card. I'll be going back in another week or 2 to get my front tires done.

Had a seized bolt on my rear shock, preventing me from driving home. No place else was open or would do it. Pep Boys did it within about 30 minutes! Excellent!

Very nice people with good knowledge of what they are doing. I would suggest dropping off your vehicle as it seems they are a little bit slow though. I would, however, be happy to use them again

I would definitely recommend pep boys for purchasing tires. So far the tires feel very solid, and I think you can't beat the pricing and value for your dollar. The service agent was really helpful and I'am completely satisfied with my purchase. Thank you Daytona pep boys!

They were great! Saturday afternoon of 500 weekend. Alternator went out. Got there after 3PM and back on the road at 5PM! They were lifesavers.

They were great. Steve Jamel and Alex were awesome. Very friendly and professional. Looked over the whole car while it was up in the air. They made some recommendations for future services. I will now be a regular customer.

Awesome service!!!ALEX was amazing. He helped my college freshman daughter with a car repair. I live in Pennsylvania and talked to ALEX over the phone, explained the issue and he said have her bring it in.Did the repair quickly and got her to class on time. A HUGH THANK YOU TO ALEX!! so very appreciated!!!

Bought a truck and tire light kept flashing. Brought in to a mechanic for an check up - they did everything but would not address the light- called another mechanic they wanted money just to look at it - pep boys reviewed all the sensors and tires - found no issues so reset the light using their tool and did not even charge me- definitely will be going back if I need anything else

OK'd a walk-in to repair puncture in tire. They won't repair any tire with sealant used. Even tho it is possible to do safely. So we purchased a tire..average selection/price. Time estimate for service was WAYoff...be prepared to wait.

This place charged over the price quoted to me. Did the job incorrectly causing the car to get stuck 5 minutes after I left. Refused to admit they did anything wrong and said they "trusted their mechanics" as if I was making up things. Did not offer to have me bring back car for re-inspection of their work. I did bring it in the next day anyway just to be told their "trusted" mechanic had installed a hose incorrectly. No one even apologized for leaving me high and dry when I called them to tell them the car was having an issue it did not have when I dropped it off. The job was quoted at $1600 and I was charged over $2000. PEPBOYS SUCKS FOR BEING INSENSITIVE TO THIS CUSTOMER FOR CHARGING MORE THAN MY QUOTE, FOR TRYING TO CHARGE AN ADDITIONAL $99 FOR INSPECTION WHICH I SAW ONLINE IS FREE, FOR DOING THE JOB WRONG, FOR IGONORING ME WHEN I TOLD THEM THE CAR BROKE DOWN 5 MINUTES AFTER I LEFT by the way it was raining very heavily when I was outside the car trying to figure out what they did wrong SHAME ON YOU PEPBOYS I WOULD SUGGEST EVERYONE GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE

I came to the location on international Speedway BLVD on 10/18/23, I spoke to the receptionist about my appointment and fit me in perfectly but the mechanic that did my tires seemed like he had a problem with me coming in early like I have control of my work schedule. Anyways I told the receptionist that my car is a manual and he said we got it but as I m on the phone the mechanic rides the hell out of my clutch stalls it twice! Now I m in the lobby waiting, then he comes out to ask my for the key for the lug nuts, I tell him it s in a black too bag in the trunk 5 mins later he asks me to get it for him so I go to look in the trunk, and its in total disarray. Fish poles are all sorts of tangled($600 in poles) and my toolbag is damn near empty, zip ties everywhere and my lunchbox is caved in. I genuinely think he has no respect for the customers property!!! If you guys see this do better!

I went in here to get new tires. Employees were super friendly, but the wait was terrible. Acceptable since I didn t have an appointment, but they messed up the valve stem in the process of putting on the tires, and I had to go back the next day, where the wait was just as bad, for them to fix their mistake. Overall not super disappointed, haven t had any issues since

Made an appointment online and when I arrived they told me its basically a walk in because you booked the same day so it will be an hour and a half wait Turned out to be just over 2 hours when we had an appointment. Checked the website and this is not mentioned anywhere.Was supposed to get my air refilled on my tires, checked my aftermarket tpms and the tire pressure didnt change. Went in and told them, they said they wouldve done it and had to argue that they didnt as we have proof.Don t waste your time and money on this shop, there are plenty of better ones in rhe area.

jamel Julian was amazing! I came in with 5 minutes before close + 2 flat tires. They were totally cool with staying late Just to service me.i wish I could hire them for my business, they worked hard to complete the task I assigned them was done in the blink of an eye.bmkmmmm
