Michaels is the best auto repair shop in Florida. They went over my 1998 BMW 328 I with Fine tooth comb with sound diagnosis. Everything was explained with photos that were taken of problems . The repairs were scheduled and work was preformed efficiently with care and fair pricing . Will recommend them to one and all Ty guys for your to diligence and honesty

My first time taking my Triumph TR6 to Michael's. They treated me like family. They treated my car like royalty. When it comes to rebuilding a carburetor, Michael Sr. is not a mechanic. He's an artist. Overall great experience. Highly recommend.

Went in for a repair on my VW CC and had a great experience. From the first phone call they provided excellent service, giving me a clear picture of what was needed for the repair, both in time and part costs. They were able to book an appointment for the next day, which helped a lot as I needed the repair asap. They did a in depth diagnostic of the intake system as well as recommending other service items that are known issues for the CC, all with complete transparency during and after the service, offering me the choice to take the old parts with me if I wanted to. They also sourced original Bosch and VW parts, giving me full confidence in the replacements that were installed while maintaining constant communication with me regarding the process. All in all a great experience where I never felt they were taking advantage of me or that they were cutting corners. 10/10 would recommend and would come back again.

I can't believe how lucky I am to have found Michael's British American Auto Repair! From the moment I stepped in, the experience was nothing short of amazing. I called Michael this morning to inquire about a pre-purchase inspection on a used BMW. I was pleasantly surprised by how patient and thorough he was with all my questions. If this is any indication of how thorough they are with repairs, then I'd definitely be confident taking my vehicles here for service work. He was very informative and helped me come to a decision on whether or not to purchase the vehicle. Once I do find the right European roadster, I'll definitely be here for service! Thank you for the great communications - that is hard to find these days!

I am not a car enthusiast by any means necessary and I get easily intimidated seeing vintage cars on display, i mean i LOVE looking at them. That's about it.That being said, How did I end up here? Because QUALITY SPEAKS VOLUMES.Michael speaks cars. He knows it, he is a 3rd generation AUTO BOT. An all-American family owned 3rd generation auto repair company that has roots planted firmly here in Daytona Beach.Michael, well the III. There are several Michaels . Michael III, is meticulous, detailed oriented and will leave no stone unturned. He is honest, responds quickly and upfront about pricing.Pricing is fair. Michael has serviced my Land Rover for several years now. I can t say enough how much I appreciate his straightforward honesty when it comes to diagnosing my repair needs. He always spends ample time with me in trying to troubleshoot every avenue possible so as not to make any unnecessary repairs and to save me as much money as possible. He never tries to oversell the job. And their work is superior to anything I could find at the dealership. Definitely recommend!

These guys are top notch automotive mechanics and fantastic people. They took my car, a 1966 Mustang, from a mess of 50 years of ware and tear and patchwork repairs to a roadworthy, safe car to drive. Their communication was fantastic, they kept me up to date every step of the way while I was out of area, and gave genuine, helpful recommendations whenever bumps or unforeseen problems came up. Having gone through a number of mechanics before, I can say these guys are the most trustworthy you can find and really will treat your car as their own. If you need anything from as intensive as a rewiring to a tune up for a classic, look nowhere else, as these guys are the best.

Fantastic high-touch personalized services. Michael & his family took their time, found a few other issues with my 2016 Miata, treating the car as if someone in their family was driving it. After decades of driving (and repairing) all manner of British, Italian and Japanese roadsters, I can affirmatively state that Michael's does superlative work.

I ve been going to Michael and his family here for the last 6 years. They do phenomenal quality work and they are very honest and up front about everything. They keep you informed and make sure you know what s going on. They are extremely professional and they take care in everything they do. I moved 40 minutes away but still go out of my way to use them whenever I need work or a tune up for my cars because I trust them and they ve never let me down.

This family owned and operated business has been taking care of my 2012 Mini Cooper for over 5 years! Their service is impeccable and their costs are more than fair. My Mini has over 87,000 miles and looks and runs like brand new. I always drive away, just as I did yesterday, knowing that they have checked everything out and more. Michael and his sons are a pleasure. Wouldn t take my car anywhere else and I live 30 miles away.

I have been taking my Lincoln s to Michael and sons since approximately 2010. Great customer service, outstanding transparency, superior work, knowledgeable mechanics, and very trustworthy. They go the extra 100 miles to make sure you are satisfied and your car performs close to factory specifications as possible. I don t take my 35-year-old cars anywhere else.

We have been taking our vehicles to Michael s for a few years. They have always been honest and thorough. If there is a problem they take pictures and show you the problem and give you solid advice, and if there are no problems they will let you know. I highly recommend them for all your vehicle needs both foreign and domestic.

I recently bought a 1968 AMX that is partially restored, which Michael and his sons have done a lot of work on. I have a stack of receipts with their contact information on them, and phoned Michael to ask him some questions about his work history with my car. Michael seemed genuinely pleased to hear from me, and spent a good deal of time giving me detailed information about the car I bought. He even typed out the service history on some of my receipts, since many of them were old and it was difficult to read all of the writing. Judging from the condition of the work that he did on my car, and his extremely kind willingness to help me with whatever information he could provide, I would highly recommend him and his staff to work on anyone's valuable old (or new) car. I wish I lived closer to them, because if so, I wouldn't hesitate to bring my car to them for any future needs.

Michael has been taking good care of our 2007 Mini Cooper. Full brake job, replacing motor/transmission mounts, other various jobs. The work is excellent and of the best quality. Their attention to detail is amazing. I highly recommend them for all your service needs. You can't get better than this.Now 5 months later and everything is excellent. Had a check engine light and Michael diagnosed and repaired, plus he took the time (with pictures) to explain what was going on underneath the car. Michael is the greatest person to deal with when it comes to dealing with our 2007 Mini Cooper. Repaired and back on the road in one day. I brought my 2002 Beetle to Michael. It needed some TLC. It had low milage for a twenty year old car. It was in pretty good shape, but it need some major repair from aging. He explained everything in detail and was spot on with everything. I couldn't be happier. They fixed everything and the customer service was excellent. My car runs like new. Thank you, Michael!

I m the owner of 1 of 7 Rover MG RV8 s in North America and took it to Michael s for an evaluation. I m a car nut, having owned 90 some hot rods and streetrods over the past 60 some years and have experienced many shops from Wisconsin, Massachusetts and Florida and these guys rank #1 on my list. Honest, credible and knowledgeable people. I wish all shops were even close to being this good.

If I could explain the experience in one sentence it would be Supreme customer service at an expedited rate . These guys are incredible, I m not very knowledgeable about cars so I cannot explicitly say what they fixed but I can tell you this: my car has never run smoother or felt more alive than it does now! These guys are super nice and very helpful, you won t go wrong here!

"A really first class operation" -I recently purchased a 51 yr old Jag and happily it came with alot of service records. Much of the work was performed by Michael's and documented via Service invoices. As some of the cursive was hard for me to read, I called them and requested assistance. They could NOT have been more helpful to me as I began the process of sorting out what had been done and what needed to be done in order to make the car 100% perfect.I am beyond grateful to the Team there and give them FIVE stars for not only their work but also "doing good". He also services my mother s car. Michael s is THE BEST auto repair business you will ever find anywhere. The curtesy, respect and professionalism they give is exceptional. Michael explains every step along the way and there are no surprises when I pick up my 2010 Mercedes after a repair or service. They are masters of there craft. There mannerisms, expertise, and honesty is top notch. We travel 50 min to get there and worth the drive. They have worked on our cars and never been disappointed. They make things right. I had high end cars, Mercedes, BMW, classic mustang, wouldn t think of going to anyone else.They are great guys !

Michael's British American is the BEST! My previous repair place had a change of management, and it gradually became clear that I needed a new shop.My Toyota was continuing to have strange noises, and I was uncomfortable driving it much more; so I called Michael's British American. They spent hours checking it out, including hooking it up to their computer where they found multiple things that needed to be repaired. Michael gave me easy-to-understand answers to my many questions, kept me updated often as the work progressed, texted pictures or videos of everything he found wrong along with descriptions of what I was looking at. He then sent item by item costs including labor and waited for our approval before ordering parts or beginning any work. He then sent more pictures of the installed repaired parts and called with updates.Michael, his father (also, Michael), and brothers are very professional, very personable, very honest, very reliable, and very, very good at what they do. If you want absolute confidence your car is getting dependable care, you should go to Michael's British American. (As a side note, Michael's is a further drive for me, 35-40 minutes from my house. I have been taking my beloved Mini to Michael and his brothers ever since we moved to Florida several years ago. They have done small and large jobs on my mini and I would never trust anyone else with my car. They have always been quick to diagnose what's going on with my car and quick to get me back on the road. Michael is always very honest about the repairs needed on my car and if it is even worth it for me. You can tell that the entire crew genuinely cares about their customers. They have gone out of their way to help me in many ways that I cannot thank them enough for. My most recent experience with Michael was redoing my suspension, which left my previously rough riding mini, riding smoother than the day I pulled it off the lot over 8 years ago.
