If you do not know much about cars, you can feel safe and confident taking your car to McGee Auto . They are honest, they do great work, and they do it in as timely of a manner as could be expected. I 100% recommend them if you want wonderful service, with honesty, then they are your guys!

Wayne and Sean are always great faces to see and they always take care of me. They take care of my vehicle like its their own and they can put a smile on anyone's face! Todd at the front counter is good too. Great mechanics as well.

McGee s saved me big time! My tire was punctured on my morning commute & I luckily made it to this location on time. They provided quick and exemplary service & I was still able to make it to work on time! I can t thank you all enough!

Top Notch Service.Was blown away with the quality in all aspects of my visit.No one wants to have to make a surprise visit to any tire shop, But I stepped into the right place.If you have any tire service needs, Check out McGee.

Need an honest mechanic? Look no further. I took my car here two weeks ago for an alignment after getting new tires. I get the call my car is ready. When I get there, the gentleman tells me he can't justify charging me for the alignment because the adjustment he made was very minor. When was the last time you heard that from an auto technician? I'd guess never. Will be referring all family and friends to this place.

My 84 year old mother brought her car here and was given back a car that wouldn t start the very next day. After $1,700, dozens and dozens of phone calls where they assured her a tow truck would be sent to fix it, it s been over a week and they have completely stopped responding. We eventually had someone some and look at the vehicle, and it turns out that parts were not put on the car, and screws were too loose to make connections. I m attempting to file an official complaint with the BBB but - no surprise - I m not able to find this business register there. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. Absolute crooks.

I took my car there. Paid $1200 and I had to look for another mechanic to fix it up. I had to pay $600 to replace radiator since my car was over heating. I do not recommend that place

I took my car in for an oil change and asked them to check the brakes, as I always do. They told me 3 months ago my brakes were fine. This time they tell me just 3 months later,that I needed brake pads AND rotors and further stated I should get them now while parts are still available. I had a hard time believing I needed rotors since my pads were good 3 months prior when I drove to the west coast and back (not city driving where you use your brakes more frequently)I took my car to another mechanic that took the time to show me the pads and rotors,explained that all of my rotors were smooth as they should be and, I had some time to go before the tab that would actually make a groove on the rotors, would actually cause damage. They tried to RIP ME OFF, maybe because I'm a women. Needless to say, I would warn anyone, regardless of gender, to get a second opinion before authorizing work at this establishmentI'm very disappointed in their ethics. We had been taking our vehicles there over 2 years.

Great group of guys at McGee's. Just moved into town and needed somewhere to get my oil changed, couldn't have asked for better, more efficient service. Took my car to the dealership a few weeks later because my warranty almost expired and got a laundry list of EXTREMELY over-priced repairs that "needed to be done." Immediately took the car to McGee (they remembered my name and car) and they helped me sift through what I had been given and offered affordable service. Will definitely be coming back for my next oil change and replacing my brakes.

Had a couple China bombs go off on my travel trailer. They were able to get the new American made tires and mount the within hours so we could continue our family vacation. The service was second to none and they were all very friendly. The cost was extremely reasonable. I would recommend.

Have used this shop for many years and was always treated well and given a fair price for service until recently. Got a surprisingly high quote for a simple shock replacement job over the summer but figured it had to be a fluke. Today they over charged me by nearly $20 for a simple oil change for my old Tahoe. I had a $20 coupon at home, forgot it, told them so, was prepared to pay the $32 I usually do for this, then went cold when the bill came in over $50. And that s when I decided I m taking ALL my business elsewhere. It s a real shame, used to be a great resource for me.

These Guys are ROCK STARS! I was originally referred to them by a retired police officer from the Daytona Beach Police Department. He and many of his fellow officers used McGee regularly wiith excellent results.So when my lovely Wife was delivering my Son to college there I sent her there to have her car serviced before the drive home to WI. They got her in right away and the price for that service was Very Inexpensive! they treated her like family while she waited as well.Just recently my Son had issues with the battery in his truck. After getting it jump started at his dorm he went to get gas and when after filling up the truck would not stop again. It was now after dark and we were concerned about our Son, still a minor, being safe in a not so safe town after dark. I called McGee Auto Service to see if they offered a jump start service. Donny told me they do not, but considering the circumstances he would send a truck down to him and replace the battery. Within an hour I received a text from my son saying they were all done! Again, considering a field service call, in the evening, the rate was very reasonable and our son was safe.Thank you McGee Auto Service!

McGee Auto Service and Tires has become a part of our family since we moved here 4 years ago! They have taken such good care of us and kept our cars running in the most cost efficient way possible. They are honest and helpful, and their service is amazing. I recommend them with complete confidence to anyone who asks if I know of a good mechanic in the area. Happy to have one less worry knowing our cars are in good hands!

New to town and you look for a place to service your vehicle someone you can trust. You think you fine one.So you begin using them and not just once but every time your car needs a oil change and service. What's an oil change at this particular place you get a tire rotation.Well to say the least I do not use this place anymore has nothing to do with the oil change except they did not rotate the tires. If your tires are rotated on a regular basis every time you get an oil change you have even wear on all four tires.This is common sense. Just my front tires are worn more than my back tires to the point where the front need to be replaced is easy to assume that my tires weren't rotated. I quit using a shop because the simple fact is they did not rotate my tires.Of course I took it up there and have them look at it and instead of emitting the day did not rotate my tires they said my tires were rotated.But how come I took it to get prices on replacing my front tires. that every shop I took it to you said my tires were not rotated. And I just don't mean one tire shop I took it to three tire shops. So you make your own decision I decide not to use them.

Can't say enough great things about this place. Great job, picked me up/dropped me off at work as needed while my car was in the shop. Very trustworthy guys.Always try to explain everything to you in simple terms and never suggest things that aren't necessary. They'll do whatever they can to save you the most money and still give you the best service. I recommend to all friends that need car service done.

Great service and a great value. I picked these guys based on their google places rating and I wasn't disappointed. Being from out of town I was nervous to have service done on my vehicle but they did a great job. Donnie at the front desk was helpful and knowledgeable. The guy said they had been there since the 30's and they still have old time quality customer service.

I love the customer service provided at McGee. I work down the road at Indian Motorcycle Daytona Beach and send all referrals there. A lot of our staff gets oil changes at this location and they are some of sweetest guys I've ever met. So happy to have a place I feel comfortable taking my car. Thanks guys!

Was in Daytona on vacation with the family. After driving from Chicago to Orlando and then up to Daytona, our Check Engine light came on. Being the Monday after a Christmas weekend, every local vehicle repair shop was backed up and not able to service our vehicle in the time frame we needed. The guys at McGee were backed up as well but understood our urgency leading up to the 1200 mile drive back home. They did a check engine scan to determine that it was due to the fact that I wasn't tightening the gas cap enough. How embarrassing. After squeezing us into their schedule and determining that it was such an easy fix, they didn't even ask for any money. Well, we sent the guys lunch as a thank you and I can't recommend McGee Auto Service enough to anyone local or in town on vacation. Good honest guys that know how to treat their customers.

I always enjoy my appointments at McGee Tire, Daytona Beach! They always inform me of issues on my autos & make appropriate recommendations; many of which we have taken. Their service is always friendly & courteous. I will continue to come to McGee tire for my auto care. Thanks Steve & Donny!

Stopped in while down on vacation. Staff went out of their way to troubleshoot our issue with our wheel. Had the honesty and integrity to make a quick repair of a simple issue with some chrome peeling from our wheel. Recommended some future repairs once we got home but by no means pushed unnecessary work. A+

I can't say enough great things about the team at McGee's- what a great bunch of guys- Donny was great getting me in there-Richard was terrific identifying the problem on two different occasions both times at no cost to me- they could easily of suggested spending money and both times they were straight, honest, efficient and knowledgeable. 10 minutes with Richard and I knew more about the wheels and tires on my big Tag axle Motor Coach than in the entire time I've owned it-they have earned my respect and loyalty. Thank You guys!!

Shawn was incompetent and very rude when answering the phone. He needs to know how to handle himself. Displays no manners towards the customers, getting upset at customers and hanging the phone at them is not going to resolve your attitude shawn. Learn how to have patience in life. He needs proper training on customer service. Terrible location will never go there again and do any type of business. Good luck with shawn.

I woke up Sunday to a flat tire in my driveway, never a good thing.I have a truck with Big Wheels and tires, 285/50/20 back when I got the truck in 2001, it was nothing for me to put 4 new tires on. Fast forward 10 years and it's well a different time. Sunday is never a good time to look for tires, I searched the web for local used and new tire distributors and saw that new tires were going to be over $200.00 each. Monday the plan was to get up early and start calling. I read the reviews of Mcgee Auto Service and Tires and they were the 3rd call. Bill answered. I told him what I needed and there were no used tires for my size, but he said wait a minute, I just got a discontinued list 5 mins ago. He had 2 new tires for around $100.00 a each,but they were in 2 different stores and he needed to get them shipped in. Two days later they had them (they had to make a special trip to Orlando to round them up) and I got them put on. They came through in a big way and went out of their way to service my truck. they have a great team, great service and made my week. I will be back for the two other tires I need soon. I highly recommend McGee Auto Service and Tires and !!!!

This location is honestly the worst! My fianc� came here with my car in March, instead of telling him they didn t know how to do an oil change on a Mini Cooper they took it to the back, and instead of draining the oil they drained my transmission fluid. Thank god they didnt put oil in the wrong spot but fixed the issue 3 hours it took them. Speed up to today 2/7/18 me and my fianc� went up there and the guy asked us why our oil change was free last time I told him the issue so he knew and understood there is no room for error again. Getting back my Mini Cooper they knocked one of my wheel weight loose so when I went 40 mph my car and steering wheel shook. We called them back scared to drive the car, and all they said was it was probably my tire and to come back in just to spend more money on a test. I took my car to a personal mechanic and told us the only thing wrong was the wheel weight was knocked loose when they did tire rotation. Wow someone that can actually be honest. This location is a joke, and needs serious work when it comes to their mechanics, and management. Will not be giving this place a 3rd chance.

Had 2 blow outs at the same time in rv, they did amazing. Had all tools to saw off Metel at no extra charge that tore up the under carriage , and dident try to up sale or give me any Bs, I will return and great work !

I've had my vehicle worked on at McGee a few times. These people are honest and trustworthy. You can take your car here and not have to worry about getting ripped off.

I have been coming to Mcgee for 2 years and have been well taken care of. In fact, I have never had a complaint that has not been resolved. I have also referred family members to this store because it is very hard to find a store that does not take advantage and only fixes what the problem is instead of making up problems. This store is top rated for me, especially as a woman who does not understand one thing about a car except to put gas in it, or its time for an oil change.

Steve was extremely helpful and made sure I got taken care of. I was in town for the weekend when my wheel/hub bearing went out. Gave him a cold call on a Saturday morning. He diagnosed the issue, showed me the part, told me how much it would have cost me at Cadillac, then got the job done at a fair price. Very glad I found this spot.
