Eleven months ago I had them tell me that I needed new rotors and pads in rear and pads in front and rotors turned down. I had it done and paid just under $1000. Just left Chevy dealer for oil change and tire rotation. They told me I needed rotors and pads in rear. They said these were either not replaced, but turned down or they put the thinnest rotors on the rear. They said there isn't enough disc thickness to turn them down. I said they were done just under a year and they said there was no way those rotors would have worn down that much if they were GM parts. Of course the mileage is over the 12000 miles now so no warranty. Dealer told me the price would have been about the same there, but rotors would not have worn out to the point that they couldn't be turned down. It's obvious they used the cheapest rotors that would not last past the one year, or they could have turned the rotors down and not replaced them. The front rotors are original with 95,000 miles and only need new pads. That tells me a lot. Live and learn. First and last time there. Always tell them you want the old parts they replaced for proof.

Went to my have my vehicle serviced expecting to have to replace the driver side CV axle. When checked turned out to be a piece of plastic rubbing the tire when I turned. I appreciate the honesty of the technician and manager. I will definitely be returning as future service is needed.

Cody and team are amazing! We get our entire fleet serviced by them. We have always found them to have high integrity and doing the things we need without bilking us for unnecessary repairs. Hard to find a fair and knowledgeable repair shop. This Firestone is awesome!!!

I have been a Firestone client, using different locations, for a long time. The Firestone on S. Ridgewood in Daytona Beach provides great service. The manager there, Cody, is stand up guy and he can be trusted. Servicing a car can be a difficult experience but Cody and the others give me peace of mind. I recommend this location.

THREE DAYS TO GET A TIRE PUT ON!Had a flat and wanted to replace it with what was on there, found it and called to get it put on. I was told they would have to get it from another Firestone store and would take a couple of hours, I said okay. Nobody called, so I called and the tire wasn't there yet and now it would be in the next morning. So I waited and called again, as nobody called me and still no tire. Had to do other things and still nobody called, nothing happened on day two. Next morning, I called and the manager said he called late the previous day to tell me the tire was in. There was no record of him calling on my phone or message in my voice mail, so that was a lie. He said the tire could be done but I would have to wait an hour and a half. I should have been a priority at that point, but was not. I went and the tire was finally out on. I noticed waiting, that there were three men doing nothing, even on cell phones, none of those guys could have driven to the other nearby Firestone store to get the tire? This was such poor customer service and would not recommend or do business with them again.

Personal experience with Cody (Gen mgr) last year gave me the confidence to come back this year. I didn't see Cody this year, but the personnel he has there gave me confidence that my vehicle is still in good hands at this location.

My service engine soon light came on when I was on 95 heading home. I called them to see if I can stop by so they can check, he said yes but while on the phone he said I might need an oil change and I told him my next oil change is 121,000 miles and I just reach 120,000 anyways I took my car there, told them again about the service light on and they again assume I need an oil change?! Okay after oil change my light still on so he ask if I want diagnostic test done???? I said yes but why didn t they do that in the first place instead of changing my oil??? Charged 234 dollars and after diagnostic tests they said I need new battery pvc and filter done which is almost 400 total! I ve had couple services done on my car at this place and it was good cause Cody helped me but not this time. This kid at the desk don t know nothing and always on his phone. Not very professional

They refused to rotate my tires when I went in for an oil change. The sign in the window clearly stated they offered free tire rotations.

They were very efficient with my Car I couldn't believe how fast they were on fixing and replacing my Alternator. We were there very early I believe we were the first ones there and I still made it to work on time. Thank you Firestone

Bad vibration at low speed from one of my tires. I brought the vehicle in they changed my tires did a four-wheel alignment change the oil and did not try and upsell me on anything great bunch of guys.

Made an appointment to get my tires on my SUV changed last Saturday 8-19. The staff was very helpful and kept me up to date while I waited for my car. They helped me get my account set back up as well. Overall great experience and friendly staff!

This was the BEST tire buying experience I ve ever had! We drove 45 minutes, past locations closer to us, just to come to this location because of the excellent customer service. The manager, Cody, was fantastic. He answered all of our questions and helped us choose the best option for our budget without making us feel pressured at all! Our car was taken in RIGHT at our appointment time and was finished so quickly. 10/10 will be returning to this location for all of our vehicle needs.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

Today one at this location a staff member told me they couldn't help me when I arrived when they closed at 6 and I arrived at 5:20. I'm from out of town and had a flat tire. There were 2 employees there and they didn't have no cars to work on. They could've at least looked at the tire and checked out instead they put air in it and referred us to a location that closed at 6 but told us they close at 7 which was a lie. I called the location in front of him. I made it a mile down the road and my tire was completely flat again. There customer service sucks. Cared nothing about my safety.

I stopped by to get some work to my car done. The employees were nice and were professional. My sole complaint is the business has several notices posted about their Covid policies and they say that masks are required. However, no one was actually wearing a mask that I saw including all of their employees that I personally interacted with. Also they added on road hazard insurance without my knowledge. I caught it on the receipt and they removed it upon asking. It s just an up sell for them to make more money which is fine but they should declare that upfront and not just charge the customer without making it clear first.

I've been a customer of Firestone's ( back in MI) for many years and have never been disappointed, so it only made sense to me to try the Firestone in Daytona Beach when a need arose during a recent stay nearby. In no way was this experience any less gratifying than those back home. It's GREAT to be able to approach auto service from people you can trust and this case was no exception. By the way, this location has a new manager (Cody) that does everything he can (plus some) to get/keep this location foremost in customers minds. Fantastic experience and would (and will) do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks Cody and thanks Firestone for validating my confidence yet again.

Highest prices in Daytona and surrounding area. I called for a price to mount and balance a tire. He said it would be $75.00 per tire. I said your just putting a tire on a rim. You don't have to take the tire off the vehicle or off the rim. They are both new. Still $75 each.I called Stevens Tire, $17.50 each. That saved me from an over $280.00 Rip Off.

Just based on the outrageous estimate they provided, this place blows. I don't mind paying a small mark-up for parts they need delivered the same day, but $125 x 2 for steering parts that are $25 at the parts store a block away indicates a degree of contempt for the customer, and all they want is to basically rob you.So I got out the jack and wrenches, and their $550 fiasco will cost me an hour of work, and $50 parts, plus a $100 alignment at the dealer.I guess every business has their own model, but this explains why the place was empty. I actually wanted to use them, but BZZT!

Had an amazing experience with Firestone this past weekend. Came to Daytona for Truck week expecting to have a great time when unexpectedly my truck broke the belt later in the afternoon on a Saturday 6/12. They were able to accommodate me as little as 30 minutes before they closed. They had to drive to get the specific belt for my truck and they also tried to help accommodate me with a tow truck. I forgot the name of the mechanic that worked on my truck and the guy at the counter who answered my many phone calls being concerned that I would not be able to get my truck towed there in time and be stranded for the weekend. They did an amazing job insuring that wouldn t be an issue and my truck was in and out in not even 20 minutes once being towed there. On top of there accommodations, they were the cheapest and truly went out of there way unlike any of the other shops I attempted to call. The employees I met were very nice and helpful, they definitely deserve a raise as they went above and beyond to help me in a stressful situation. Thanks to them I wasn t stuck in Daytona as I was suppose to return Sunday and my truck made it back running perfect. Big thanks to the employees for helping me, had a great experience. Would recommend them to anyone and they d my first to call in the coming years attending Daytona truck week.Thanks,Jack (2008 Dodge Cummins)

I called around to a couple shops in the area and either got no answer or they were booking a week+ out. Firestone was able to get me in right away, found and fixed the issue that morning. Super quick and friendly staff.

I took my car to the Ridgewood location two people working and 3 sitting on counters and texting. I would give a lower score only if I could.very rude I asked how long for the wait the person waiting on us simply said you are next I am the only one waiting, I will never take my car there again horrible service. What happened this is not the same Firestone I ve been going to for the last 22 years no thank you it looks closed from the street view in time it will be closed no one will go there. Scary as it seems this location needs training

Recently moved here and didn t have a mechanic I trusted. These guys went above and beyond . They were more than fair and quick with the turnaround. I would recommend them to anyone intown.

Great service! The Service Advisor was professional and very pleasant! He informed me of additional repairs and when I asked the cost he had already printed it out for me, but not once did he pressure me! I appreciated his kindness and honesty! We've been taking our cars here for years. Good quality service. They will recommend needed services, but they are not pushy or try to upsell you. Trustworthy, honest, good communication.
